Oh another thing....Didn't the Rats in Tangled sorta look like Remy or rats from Ratatouille...?

Tangled 3x. A month ago, last night with the fam, and today with some friends. And I still love it.

-Oh and I know someone mentioned it already, but the Greno bit in the pub was awesome.

-Really, really impressed with the last two princesses. I enjoy watching characters like Tiana -a hard-working young woman- and Rapunzel -a bullied girl who discovers her inner strength- get the 'dream ending'.
Hopefully they become role models for this younger generation...

Dear Disney Dude2010,

Thank you for the YouTube videos! I LOVE being able to re-watch movie scenes before I'm able to buy a home entertainment version of said movie.

Thank you in advance for your reply.

I have a hunch the guy that voiced Hook Hand Thug provided the voice for the fat ghost, Fatso, in the 1995 film Casper.

*checks Wiki* Ohmigosh, he did! That makes HHT more special to me. I like knowing what the original voice actors for the Ghostly Trio get hired for. :D

Verder was 'Something that I want' wél gewoon Engels, maar ingezongen door iemand anders.

Sorry for the Dutch conversation, people. Back to English.

Polizzi wrote:Pardon me for asking, but is it possible to create a DVD cover that reads, "Rapunzel," besides, "Tangled?" I do not mind that it is called, "Tangled," it is just that I miss the name, "Rapunzel," very much, but I went to see the movie anyway, and I find it good. This is optional. You do not have to do it, unless if you want to. Sorry for being picky though.
Here you go:

I know it's not a DVD cover but I figured you would settle for a Blu-Ray one :P

And the best part: It started with Walt Disney Pictures Presents: Rapunzel. And it was the original English language version. Thanks Disney Distribution Netherlands for not caving in to lame-ass marketing techniques.
Lucky bastard, I'm jealous.

Funny thing, I found that exact logo right after I posted that. After searching just about everything on Google, I tried one last time and just added the word "Dutch" after "Disney Rapunzel" and got it. Thanks for helping out anyways, that was certainly big enough

LOL! Funny how that works, isn't it? I don't even remember where I picked it up (maybe in one of the earlier threads here) but it's one of those I saved for a rainy day. Maybe some others can have fun with it too. :D

Gosh, the german Gothel is soooo bad and Rapunzel sounds way to old and mature. Just in case anyone wants something to laugh about:

German Samples

Too bad they're not showing the original version where I live. :(
I wrote the german chairwoman of Disney Character Voices International on Facebook about the issue. Maybe she'll write back but I guess not.

They don't? That sucks :( They do in Holland, can't you go here then? depends on where you live ofcourse, if you live in germany close to holland it's easy.
I'm waiting for the dutch samples to come... i really really wanna hear them!
The rapunzel marketing here is weird. They do show the trailer on normal channels around dinnertime and in the evening, but they don't show it on nickelodeon or disney xd or any kids channel during the afternoon. Aren't kids their target audience?

I've no car and the german trainservice is way to expensive to drive to Holland. I checked it right now, and a one-way ticket would cost me between 100 and 140 Euro. Anyway, I will try to find out in which german cities they will show the original. Usually in big cities like Berlin, Munich or Hamburg it's no problem.

Concerning the marketing: the whole european marketing for the film seems weird to me. Why don't they show it on Disney XD or other kids channels in Holland? On Disney XD they could send it for free and they don't use the oppurtunity? Sometimes I think Disney wants their films to fail.
In Germany they don't show any clips on TV. The whole marketing here is viral which is similarly dumb.

You know what's even weirder? The guy who's the new face for the Dutch Disney XD is the Dutch voice of Flynn. You'd think they'd use him to mention it or market the movie to kids...but they don't.
