Pat Carroll is actually over 80 now, so I think that perhaps performing on a hot sunny day in California isn't up her street. It does seem as though she provided the voice for the actual ride, though I haven't and don't want to see it all the way through online.disneyprincess11 wrote:^^Why didn't Pat Carroll do it?

I heard she was in the audience, so I guess she was too old to performWonderlicious wrote:Pat Carroll is actually over 80 now, so I think that perhaps performing on a hot sunny day in California isn't up her street. I doubt it. She looks like a big sweetheart. I guess she loves gay people based on her experience with Howard Ashman, but doesn't believe in gay marriage, gay couples etc.DisneyJedi wrote:Umm.... Okay...? Thanks.Poody wrote:Oh, and in refernces to the Jodi related replies...Yeah, that story posted about the Canadian girl. It's true, I was there. I'm still a "fan" though......
But she's not the gay-bashing type of homophobic, is she?
And Poody, I'M SOOOOOOOOOO JEALOUS!!!!

She's not. At least, as far as I know? She's been very nice to me and my boyfriend when we met her. She didn't offer to "pray" for us, like our lesbian friend from Canada. Maybe she just doesn't approve of lesbians *shrug*DisneyJedi wrote: But she's not the gay-bashing type of homophobic, is she?

Technically, WDW and DL's Pirates of the Caribbean and The Haunted Mansion are duplicates of each other, although the length of both rides are different.dizfan wrote:I don't know where the info came that WDW's would be "bigger", it has been mentioned by Disney Imagineers that both rides will be exact duplicates with the exception of the facade.

The length of the rides are different because there are scenes missing/added, so they are not exact duplicates.DisneyJedi wrote:Technically, WDW and DL's Pirates of the Caribbean and The Haunted Mansion are duplicates of each other, although the length of both rides are different.dizfan wrote:I don't know where the info came that WDW's would be "bigger", it has been mentioned by Disney Imagineers that both rides will be exact duplicates with the exception of the facade.
No Fastpass for TLM. So that means that the line will just keep moving and moving. Which is a good thing.

I don't really understand the question, lines that constantly are moving are great to have in florida just as they are in california. If Florida does not have fastpasses then that line will also be virtually in non stop motion since it is an
Omnimover attraction. If it does have fastpasses, the stand by line will stop several times to accommodate fastpass arrivals making the stand by wait longer. And that will be the line most will be waiting in
If ca adventure added fastpass, the line there will also slow down the same way.
