Been awhile since I posted a new DVD, but...
Sometime before Sunday, January 8:
Thelma and Louise: Standard Edition (packaging said Special Edition, but the disc was standard edition, ugh!)
The Sure Thing: Special Edition
Some Like It Hot: Special Edition
Sunday, January 8:
Sin City: Recut, Extended Edition
The Magnificent Seven 4-Pack: TMS, Return of TMS, Guns of TMS, TMS Ride
I got the 4-pack simply cause it rounded out to $5 a movie, and I'll get the 2-disc The Magnificent Seven later when I have more money
Friday, January 13:
Doogie Howser: Season One
Thelma and Louise: Special Edition (Got a bona fide SE now)
Nicholas Nickleby: Special Edition (2002 movie, it's pretty good)
Legends of the Fall: Special Edition (not the "Deluxe" Edition that comes with a booklet)
I still didn't get Ferris Bueller's Day Off: Bueller Bueller Edition, and I'm looking into blindbuying The Greatest Story Ever Told: Special Edition on Amazon. Also, gotta get Doogie Howser: Season Three and Lois & Clark: Season Two on Tuesday, which is today, which means I can get them, woohoo!

The junkie did a little bit of shopping at Best Buy, most of the titles that are coming out in the coming week or so I will get previously viewed at Hollywood Video during their 3 for $25 sales. Today though I bought:
Benji The Hunted - 12.99
Lois & Clark - Season Two - 37.99
Lord of War - 2-disc edition - 19.99
all at Best Buy using my Reward Zone card for the points. Then at Wal-Mart I picked up:
Funny Factory w/Donald Duck - 9.84
Funny factory w/Mickey Mouse - 9.84
That's about it for the shopping this week. Nothing coming out until Jan. 31st that is worth shouting about, then on the 31st it is "The Corpse Bride" and "The Pink Panther Cartoon Collection" for sure.

Still managed to maintain my "non-buying" resolution of 2006, but Lady and the Tramp is out soon so it won't last long.
I did, however, get the following free discs to review:
- 40 Year Old Virgin
- Da Kath and Kim Code (Telemovie following Aussie comedy series)
- Seven Periods with Mr Gormsby (New Zealand comedy series)
