I wish they'd show us what happened to The Dragon. Did they actually leave him there? Shouldn't have they tried to set him free afterwards? When he said that he had a daughter, I couldn't help but wonder if he was supposed to be Mulan's father or related to Mulan's story in some way.
He's Lily's father. That's right folks, in OUAT-verse, Mushu bangs Maleficent.

This was one of the better episodes of the season. I, too, enjoyed the opening montage with Snow and Charming. It could have been the premise of a quirky, indie movie.
The premise reminds me of that old 80s fantasy film Ladyhawke. Instead of being asleep though they are turned into animals. I really need to watch that film again.
I'd be excited but personally I'd like to see Rumple turn good and get back with Belle even though most people here don't seem to want that.
nah I have to agree with everyone else too, I find him really abusive. And he just seems to get worse. :(

Have they reached 59 episodes? I thought Disney didn't make anymore for any series after that?

This passed 100 episodes last season. And this isn't a Disney Channel show, it's an ABC show. The episode limit is just for the shows aimed at kids and pre-teens on Disney Channel and maybe Disney Junior although I don't know about that.

I loved the opening montage with Charming and Snow as well.

I guess because the dragon had magic, perhaps magic from the Evil Queen giving it to him though controlling his heart and transforming him, that's how they got out of the mirror. And yes, the poor dragon had to stay in there. Makes no sense. He should have come out with them.

I hate Henry's romance. Wish it was a better girl. But whatever.

Rumple could still become good eventually. Regina did it, so could he. But it looks like he won't become good anytime soon.

Well, I kind of loved this episode? And I’m shocked, too, since it’s the first time I’ve enjoyed something Rumpel-related in a long time. I liked that they tied up the loose end about both Rumpel’s mother and the Black Fairy mentioned in season 3 (mentioned at the end of the arc about Rumpel’s father, incidentally enough). It makes sense of Rumpel’s hatred of fairies finally, too, and why he also hated Milah for “abandoning” their son so fiercely because both were combined with the hatred of his own mother.

The end of this episode was the first good thing to come out of the Rumpel and TEQ hook-up, too. I love when characters screw over Rumpel. But Regina was being a huge hypocrite again where it concerns Zelena.

And I have a feeling they might be tying up the loose end of who Lily’s father is, too (since I still say it’s Jafar). I think they’re writing this season like they feel it could possibly be the last. I mean, I still think there’ll be a 7th final season because they’ve always talked about 7 sounding about right for how long it would go and the rest of ABC’s schedule is a dumpster fire in the ratings which makes OUAT’s prospects better, but they might be playing safe rather than sorry just in case. I’m glad I liked these past two eps and the winter finale looks good, too.

I would say this episode was good but it also bothered me. Any time babies are endangered it bothers me. And when fairies get endangered lol. I never knew Rumple hated fairies (more than anything "good" in general). I guess I never noticed. It is a nice thing to know more about his background. The part with The Evil Queen and Zelena before their fight was intense, to me, like Zelena was saying goodbye to her baby and preparing to die. Regina shoudl forgive Zelena but of course she will eventually, as we have seen with time she gets better. Oh, and Rumple goes back and forth but finally he really was going to be good and then that got screwed. I can't believe he didn't even try to tell Belle the truth because if Belle is "good" and, well, smart like she's "supposed" to be, I would think she could believe him.

I forget though, what is The Evil Queen referring to when she said Rumple needed her help in killing the one who killed his son...or something?

Disney's Divinity lol at you saying "dumpster fire". You're funny with your creative use of language.

when the Black Fairy was revealed to be Rumple's mother I couldn't  hard enough, does every fricken character have to be related to him!? :| So it wasnt Rumple after all who sped up Belle's pregnancy, but why didnt he tell her it wasn't him? Seems like dumb writing so they can set up Belle & Rump having to get together to rescue the baby, or for when they find out the baby's actually evil or Morpheus isnt actually their kid... I dunno, somethings really off about Morpheus. Anyway I have a feeling this is how they are going to redeem Rumple once again(until he needs to be bad again for story reasons that is, lol.)

I didn't catch that either. I wonder if she knows something Rumple doesn't and we'll get a flashback.

I don’t remember this part, but the person who killed Rumpel’s son is Zelena, who he asked TEQ to kill this episode?

Ugh Robin is back even if only temporarily. I was actually enjoying this episode until he made his return in the last few seconds. I had a feeling that Emma and Regina would be stuck in the wish world but I didn't think it would be like this. I just hope they use these last few episodes to give closure to his character, but otherwise keep him dead.

So Gideon is the man under the hood. It makes sense considering the Black Fairy raised him in one of her dark realms where time works differently. I wonder if it is supposed to be Limbo or something. I can see Belle and Rumple getting back together now as they work to save their son.

I wonder if the Evil Queen's story is over now. The promo showed Zelena so at least she is still around and there was also a wedding ring so I'm guessing Hook will finally propose to Emma (or vice-versa, but it's probably Hook).

Same, on all this.

I'm hoping TEQ is done now. I'm not sure if I should be interested in the second half or not. The actor for Belle/Rumpel's son isn't really that good, so I hope he isn't the focus. I did love the Black Fairy's actress--let's hope she gets most of the screentime. I'm guessing Jafar will also be a big focus in the second half.

Where have I head this story line before, a couple of star crossed lovers that separated, but got back together as a last ditch effort to save their son from eternal darkness that has corrupted his mind and is just a puppet for someone even more evil? Just sounds similar, can't seem to put my finger on it.

so Rumple is also Beast and Han Solo, perfect. :P

I knew there was something off about Morpheus/Gideon. Now of course they have to unite again to defeat him and Rumple will redeem himself again and well I still hope Belle doesn't take him back, blah! :headshake:

Augustwas spotted in the promo. Too bad I have to wait till March! :-x

Gideon could have still been a good guy the Black Fairy changed in the future and sent back to the past.

I'm sure there's many other instances of seperated couples coming back together to save their child than Star Wars.

I want Robin back with Regina but not if so many fans say they don't want him to be which apparently is the case so I hope Regina gets a love interest everyone likes or better yet Robin becomes what everyone likes.

The Black Fairy might be a cool villain. Didn't like her acting that much from what I saw before but maybe she'll be good.

I loved this whole episode! And the funniest thing was when Snow and Charming come to fight Regina and they don't get that she's not the Evil Queen and she goes "Damnit" and disappears! rotfl

Ariel returns for princess team-up!

Ariel returns and meets Princess Jasmine [Karen David] as they join Hook [Colin O’Donoghue] on an adventure as he and Emma [Jennifer Morrison] face a daunting challenge that requires a big time princess team-up,” executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis tell EW.

Ariel and Jasmine are my two favorite princesses and I've enjoyed their OUAT versions so I'm so glad they will get to team-up! Especially with Emma and Hook (rather than Regina and Robin or Snow and David).

Their Jasmine is just okay, which I blame on the writing because the actress is perfect, but their Ariel is awesome. I'm glad she'll be back again, just in case this might be the final season.

Yaaaay to Ariel coming back !!! Have missed her, I hope she's in more than just one episode. Apart from Snow, she's my favourite guest Princess the show has featured.

But Snow isn't a guest princess. You mean Ariel's your favorite princess that's been on the show other than Snow? So Snow is your top favorite?
