I hate that they recast Jafar. I wonder if there'll be any continuity with Wonderland or if they're retconning the character completely.

^ I was just coming here to post about that myself! Wow, this season's going to be really bad. One of the things I was most looking forward to the show getting around to (Aladdin and Jafar's possible return) is botched out of the gate. What. A. Mess. Maybe they can announce the real Ursula next, only for her to be played by Kelly Osbourne.

Apparently, Naveen is in another show and can't do it. I like the new Jafar better TBH. He's spot on! What I don't get is Aladdin's Austrailian accent

I personally really like the Jafar recast; if the original actor can't do it then what are they to do ? Oded was brilliant in The Mummy & The Mummy Returns; as far as that clip goes think he will be a pretty brilliant and on point Jafar with regards to paying homage to the animated character.

Disney Duster will be pleased as Cinderella will be coming back ! She has a connection with the Land of Untold Stories, and there will be further flashbacks into Snow and Cinderella's past as well.

On the panel Adam and Eddy said we shouldn't forget that the one thing the Evil Queen wanted more than anything in life was Snow Whites heart .... Thinking that could be the final conflict.

Honestly, I like the recast of Jafar. True, the other guy I felt was more menacing, just had fun being evil. This guy, a bit differ, cold and dark, but not psychotically over the top like the Jafar from Wonderland.

Also, I believe they are gonna move away from Alice in Wonderland's Once Upon a Time. Since the show didn't do well, I don't think we'll see much of that. I mean, I think the Knave of Hearts was drafted into whatever season it was that he showed up, because plans were already cemented. Plus, it might honestly confuse those who didn't watch Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. That's just my theory, but I could be wrong.

Yay! Though I wish I saw whatever Cinderella related stuff happened in Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. Also, I wish we would know more of the Fairy Godmother and hopefully get a resurrection for her.

A lot of the spoilers coming out have made me excited. I'll admit, I probably would be more positive right now it wasn't for the Jafar re-cast. I just find Andrews impressive in general, and sexy as hell, too, tbh. I'm hoping I like the new actor after seeing him on the show so I won't entirely hate this season. Spoilers that make me happy: Aladdin being a Savior and heavily involved in the story based on episode titles like "Diamond in the Rough" and "Street Rats," Jasmine (with the wonderful Galavant actress) having a meaningful backstory, Cinderella and her prince returning (although I hope to God the topic isn't overtaken by Cinderella mania), Whale showing up again (...even though I'm not necessarily a fan of Whale, I'm always glad to hear about returning characters; Archie and Leroy are also appearing again).I have to admit the idea of the Evil Queen on the rampage has been growing on me--it'll depend entirely on how it's done.

I loved Naveen Andrews as Jafar, but the new actor (whose name escapes me) is really good as well. He was on Charmed where he played a similar type of villain, and the promo with him seemed to show him off pretty well, so I'm excited for him. Can't say the same for Aladdin. Not sure at all why he has that Australian accent. It's bad enough on Belle, but Aladdin makes even less sense. Really excited for Jasmine though. Besides the fact that she's the last major princess to be included, but I really liked her actress on what little of Galavant I watched. And I'm glad to see the other Arabian characters like Sindbad and Scheherazade being included as well. Hopefully they interact with the Aladdin cast. It reminds me of how the Aladdin TV show was not allowed to include Sindbad, because Disney wanted to leave him open for a future movie.

I didn't like Cinderella's portrayal much in this show so not looking too forward to her again. Unless they use this to sort of quasi-reboot her and make her more interesting. Whale is ok, but I like Archie. Leroy I find to be irritating...not at all endearing like Grumpy from the movie is.

the actress from Galavant as Jasmine is genius! I always thought she'd be perfect for the role. Im surprised Whale is returning considering Ander's major role in Izombie. I hope its not like his last appearance where he showed up for a short cameo just to end up being thrown across the room(or punched in the face? I cant remember now, lol!)

I´ve no idea and hate what they´re doing.

The whole point (with few exceptions) was to have the show make use of the Disney movies. So, why this now? If this was how the show ended or the series finale after having used all the material then fine. But not now.

And in case someone mentions that they´ve already messed up in the past...I agree but that doesn´t mean they jumped the shark. For example, the whole first arc of the latest Season. I think is the way they choose what they choose. For example, Merida is an excelent example; they used her and not the movie to for the story. For The Sword in the Stone it would have been much better to have used the characters instead. Atlantis: The Lost Empire as a story arc (putting aside the movie´s popularity) lends itself to that. Is a case by case scenario.

Here´s hoping we get to see all the Disney characters/movies before the show ends.

Jafar could not look less menacing. Does the costume even look the same as the one from OUATiW? I haven't seen that show in forever, but I liked how Jafar looked on that show....

The clipart they have of the Queen at the end behind the logo is beautiful. I'm not caring about Hyde so far, but at least the actor is gorgeous.

Btw, spoilers: I read that Regina and Zelena will be roommates. I'm really hoping Zelena is the one who kills the Evil Queen.

I guess the time has passed for them to do it, so it looks like there will be no new cast photoshoot again this year ? So beyond disappointing, I truly don't understand it. The last time was season 3 for the full cast !! Do other ABC shows do the same thing ?
