Today I asked for one for
The Lion King 2. I was somehow worried that I wouldn't have got it because off all these stories. But the lady was very nice and said they did have 1 (

) and that they'll send it right away; without the need of sending them the damged one.... but, she did
asked me for the number on the spine on the DVD.
What I don't get people, is you that ask for just the ones that don't open like a book. Because for me those are a complete waste. I got my Mulan DVD w/o and I didn't complain. Then later at Walmart when I was going to buy Pocahontas... I took it off and left it there.
The rest of all my Disney DVDs all have the slipcover; except the one for
A Bug's Life and I didn't ask for it because it really didn't need it since the DVD already has that shiny effect.
Just a couple of questions:
1. If Disney just makes a limited quantity of those, how can we still get them from OOP ones?
2. Why did she told me they only had 1? Is that actually possible?
... and a suggestion to all people here that don't want to call or couldn't get yours.
Why don't you ask for the ones you want at a Blockbuster (or other videoclub?)
I've seen that usually they have plenty, most of them are at a very good condition or above avarage... and I'm sure since it is just a slipcover they won't mind.
PS
Believe me, if the idea had come to mind sooner, I'd have try my luck that way first.
