Go to F.Y.E. or GameStop. They don't care, just as long as they can sell it.

For Christmas I got:
Spiderman 2
LOTR: Return of the King extended
Shrek 2
Harry Potter 3
Cold Mountain (why does this not seem to fit with the others)

I just ordered:
NYPD Blue Vol. 1
Buffy Vol. 1
Futurama Vol. 1
X-Files Vol. 1

All of these were at big discounts on Amazon.

And E/B Games. And Suncoast/Sam Goody has recently started selling used DVDs (though some are put in a different case than it originally came in).

I often find the strangest things in the Used DVD sections. Like, who would return a very-good-condition LOTR EE? Or a slipcover-less BATB PE? Or Coupling? They always have a lot of so-so movies, and a few of the good movies. One thing I hate though, is when I buy a used movie at one store, then find it at another for a lesser price and I can't return the used one I have. Cause I found "Legend: Ultimate Edition" at E/B Games for $14.99, but the case was a little damaged (The front was coming off), and I pulled off the price sticker a little badly, so there's a lot of gunk, and it now says "A Ridley Scott Fil" cause I scratched off the "M". Then, a few days later, I go to GameStop, and they have it for $12.99, in a better condition case. I wanted to just steal the case and run, but I didn't. :(

Yeah, and even more frustrating than that: buying it used and then finding it brand new and still sealed for the same or lesser price a day later. That's happened a few times to me since Christmas. If only sales were announced further in advance. :(

Blockbuster, Media Play, and Babbage's also buy used movies and games.

Got Golden Girls Season 1 at Sam's for $26.87 But I can't open it until we check the price at Wal-Mart, though I'm sure it'll be a bit more.

Jane, who hasn't posted in awhile, got Las Vegas Season 1 for about $37.

Newest DVD for me is West Wing Season 3...I love that series.

I'm about 10 episodes in....brought the New Year in watching it with my wife and a friend.

My DVD titles count is up to about 410 now.

Excellent DVD with excellent special features... I wish all of the other Disney DVDs were this great (or at least the other 2-disc sets).

By the way, does anyone know where to find The Prophecy pack?

Long ago when I was interested in buying the trilogy, I found out that there was a pack for it but it quickly went OOP. So I'd like to know where can I find it.

Thanx.

There is this one available in Australia:

http://www.ezydvd.com.au/item.zml/228863

Should be pretty cheap for an international customer.

I got some review discs today (see, didn't spend any money this week...on DVDs anyways):

- Dodgeball
- Dallas: Seasons 1 & 2
Behind the Panels - Comic book news, reviews and podcast

Today I added three new titles to my collection:

The Last Exile vol. 1 - I took a chance on it because I heard it was good , can't find it anywhere and it was 30% off.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind collector's edition - It was my favourite movie of 2004 so I had to get it. :)

24 season three
