Person of Color - a stupidly broad acronym thrown around on various internet forums to complain about the lack of diversity in entertainment, most recently in "Frozen."
I don't really see him as a POC of though.
Just a typical representation of a caveman, or caveboy.

Thanks for that.
To add to Caveman and Caveboy: Cave baby or Cave Toddler, depending on how old he is meant to be. "Hey, Cave Toddler come here." "But I don't live in a cave" replied the boy. Awkward look on ones face.

Oh my gosh, I've been wondering what the heck POC stands for for the longest time! Thank you for letting us know!

Re: The Good Dinosaur--11/25/15
Making their first POC protagonist a caveman would actually do more harm than good.
CLUCKRe: The Good Dinosaur--11/25/15
Maybe he doesn't have to be a "POC protagonist"... and he can just be a "person."
HATE that term. It's causing so many more problems than the people who use it think they are solving.

Re: The Good Dinosaur--11/25/15
I'm not complaining. I just said that term is stupidly broad and ridiculous.
But that doesn't change the fact that the first being a caveman would be a really bad idea, lol. Regardless it's clearly just a typical caveman.

I got my DMC Flyer in the mail and no other exclusives as expected. In the flyer, it advertises films coming in 2014. One of the 3 films it advertises is The Good Dinosaur due out on May 30th, 2014. We all know it got delayed and that date is incorrect, so I'm kinda surprised but yet I'm not that Disney just decided to go with it. Here's a link to the picture I took.

The Good Dinosaur, on the other hand? After the director swap, I am awaiting (but strongly hoping against) a fiasco similar to Brave.
I doubt anything is wrong with Finding Dory; it has so many reasons working for it.Uh-oh. Potential bad news, everyone. Although nothing has been confirmed by the studio, one of our readers pointed out that both The Good Dinosaur and Finding Dory have been removed from Pixar’s Upcoming Movies list in their official site. As our astute reader also points out, none of the movies were even mentioned at CinemaCon 2014.
Last we knew, The Good Dinosaur had temporarily replaced its director, Bob Peterson, with John Lasseter, Lee Unkrich and Mark Andrews. The original co-director, Peter Sohn, was still listed as co-director. Does this mean Pixar hasn’t found the right director for the project and it’s shelving it to avoid another not great movie?
As for Finding Dory, we haven’t actually heard of any problems with that. Everyone assumed it has been pushed back to 2016 so The Good Dinosaur could take its spot but maybe the Andrew Stanton-helmed movie is also having trouble.
Again, all of this is speculation. We’ll keep you updated!
Thanks for the tip, Liam!

Re: The Good Dinosaur--11/25/15
Management will never allow Finding Dory to be shelved.
Keep in mind, a poor sequel will still make money.. a bad original film however? Those are a bad investment. So replacing directors and delays are logical consequences of production problems.
But my oh my, how the tables have turned on Disney and PIXAR. This is the opposite of 10 years ago... holy hell typing this now I just realize it's exactly 10 years ago today when Home on The Range came out in theaters, back then considered a death sentence for WDAS. And this was also mere months after Finding Nemo outgrossed The Lion King to become the #1 animated film of all time.
And here we are witnessing Frozen outgross Toy Story 3 to become the new king exactly 10 years later. This is truly a reversal of roles.

There's NO way that Finding Dory will get cancelled! It is wildly anticipated, esepecially that Ellen herself announced the movie. They can't take back the publicity
Re: The Good Dinosaur--11/25/15
According to a commenter on that article Dory was never on the site to begin with. I doubt anything is going on. They just removed the good dinosaur until they can name a director and other corrected info.

Goodbye to this rubbish! The longer the wait for this was extended, the less interested I became.

It's back on the website!

Notice how the voice cast for INSIDE OUT is on there and not for THE GOOD DINOSAUR!

Also, Lee Unkrich's next film is referred to as "Untitled Lee Unkrich Film" rather than "The Untitled Pixar Movie About Dia de los Muertos."

Probably because of The Book of Life which focuses on the same holiday/themes.disneyprincess11 wrote:Looks like no more Dia de los Muertos.

Re: The Good Dinosaur--11/25/15
According to this article, the creators behind "The Good Dinosaur" are back on track.
https://uk.yahoo.com/movies/the-good-di ... 71054.html
The film will supposedly be released November 2015. So this means Disney will take the summer release spot again and Pixar will release their films in the wintertime?
