I have Blu-ray and assume I will re-buy the Arthur films but I wanted to see the films last night and the DVD was six dollars and not twenty five, which as a student I can't really afford.dvdjunkie wrote:Note to JiminyCrick91:Best reason in the world to go Blu-ray........no Full Screen P&S movies.Comedy Double Feature: Arthur(Full Screen/Arthur 2: On the Rocks

My purchases over the last few weeks-

Mommie Dearest, used from the Amazon Marketplace. It appears to be a Canadian copy (which is odd considering the seller is stationed in the US), but I like the French writing, and it's a nice curiousity in my collection, so I've kept it.

Tangled: 3D Blu-Ray, from Best Buy. Used the $5 coupon.

Black Swan Blu-Ray, from Wal-Mart. It ended up being a gift, but that hadn't been my intention. I sent my mom out to buy it for me, and she decided to cover the cost because I had done her a favor earlier that day. It's the first movie I've gotten from Wal-Mart in a while, and I don't remember the stickers being so aggravating before!

I ordered it off Amazon via the UD program schedule so the site will get a little cookie or something...I just haven't announced it since I haven't received it as of yet but I might as well do so Now.Barbossa wrote:Wow, no one is buying Narnia? C'mon people, buy Dawn Treader so we can get a 4th movie made, probably Magician's Nephew is up next. Let's give Dawn Treader a little boost on home video sales.

$19.99 via amazon.com
Also I have been ordering movies off amazon or other online places because of Gas prices....it's a 10 mile drive to go to the local wal-mart and with Gas being $3.89 a gallon as of late it costs more money for me to get a Sunday paper and then back into town and that's 40 miles and I don't drive yet....so when I can I order online....and Amazon is fast and Cd Tradepost over the phone which I applaud and ebay depending on what it is....

Watched the movie last night. Looks great on Blu. The only major letdown is the case - it's all cardboard and it kinda looks like the Digital Copy disc may eventually fall off if you are not careful with the entire case. So be careful when you open it. I was hoping to get the DVD 2-discer to match the other two, but not one store around here had it.disneyboy20022 wrote:I ordered it off Amazon via the UD program schedule so the site will get a little cookie or something...I just haven't announced it since I haven't received it as of yet but I might as well do so Now.
