Nope! She does appear in the next episode. I don't believe the rumors going around that it's always going to be Edie's last episode. If that was the case, she would have been gone 50 times by now! LOL!PeterPanfan wrote:I can't wait! I heard it was Edie's last episode..
GREAT episode. I really enjoyed it. It's like the calm before the storm. I truly feel something creepy about Dylan's "father". Something feels very wrong about that situation. I don't know why, but, I just can't shake the feeling.
Also, what in the world will Lynette do? What would any parent do? Your young sons come to you, and tell you that they burned down that restaurant, to keep that guy from taking you away. I really don't know how I would handle something like that, as a parent. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

I'm glad Edie will be staying for a while!
I feel weird about Dylan's father, too, MM1. I feel like he's still hiding something from Dylan, and Katharine. I also like how Katharine and Dylan are kind of..bonding, now.
I would be..flattered that my kids would go to that extent to protect me, but I really feel SO SO bad for Lynette. Everything bad happens to her!
AND OMG about Bree. I feel SO bad for her! Kudos to Susan for forgiving Orson, though. Mike, too.
And LOL about Gaby and the dog. It seems as if she's becoming the comic relief in the show, nowadays.

I am so looking forward to this upcoming episode.
Edie's gonna go after another woman's leftovers lol.
Lynette has raised lil arsonist.
I wonder about Dylan's dad. Is that really her father? I'm not convinced. If that is her dad, then who did Katharine kill?
And Susan's crazy self lol...I just won't comment.

This episode sounds really good. Last week's was hilarious with Gaby and Roxie. I cracked up when Gaby said the Eye-Seeing Monkey. Anyway, I'll tune in and watch it then I might come back here tomorrow and post my thoughts. Can't wait!

Great episode! Man, that little brat, Kayla! I can't stand her. I really wish Tom could see what an evil little girl she is! I've never liked her. She's the spawn of Satan!
I really liked the story with Katherine and Dylan's father. I just knew that Katherine was going to kill him. At the end, when we see the gun, I think that's where this is heading. She's going to send him to his grave.
Wow at Gabby and Carlos having a drug dealer living in their home. I sure hope Gabby finds out, before it causes them major problems!
I just knew that Edie was going to try to get her hands on Orson. She claims to Bree that he's not her type of man, but, a few drinks later, and she's all over him! That Edie, I tell you!
I can't wait until next week!

Great episode last night ...
I hope Kayla dies soon LOL ... That girl has always been irritating ... and she was a bitch with a capital c last night ...
Edie was great as usual ... I think she truly wasn't into Orson ... until Bree was like "step away from the merchandise" ... Kinda spoilery but ... next week is the last time we see Edie this season ... and she supposedly does ... well ... here's Mr. Cherry's exact words ...
Marc Cherry: "Edie is going to cross a huge moral boundary that she's never crossed before on the show and it will have devastating consequences for her and lead to a shocking conclusion to her time on Wisteria Lane."
I am totally loving Katherine's storyline ... and I am now wondering if they are going to keep her around ... or if they are going to have the storyline end with her demise ... Kinda spoilery ... I don't know if anyone has heard ... but during the final moments of the season finale ... the show is going to jump five years into the future ... and stay there at the start of next season ...
Bree needs to forgive Orson ... I think she has forgotten about the time she helped her son cover up his involvement in the murder of her best friend's mother-in-law ... also via running over ...

I don't think Kayla's just a brat. Like Lynette, I think something's seriously wrong with her. Still, I hope she doesn't die. That's just extreme (the same with Nora's shooting), though it makes great TV. Besides, Lynette's had a drama-filled life the past three seasons (the deaths, an emotional affair, the shooting, the pedophile and the cancer).
I read that about Edie as well. I wonder what it is she could possibly do? Maybe she'll rape Orson like Alma did?

Excellent episode! I'm so glad that the women of Wisteria Lane got together, and turned their back on Edie.
I REALLY dislike Kayla. If she were to be ran over by a car, I wouldn't feel a bit sorry for her, or Tom. Tom is an ass, because he will not see the fact that he has a demon child. I know, that's horrible, but, she's a horrible child!
Wow, I can't wait to find out all the juicy details about the whole thing with Dylan! Next week is going to be crazy! 2-HOUR season finale! Yay!!!

What a fantastic episode! Totally loved the war ... and I don't think what Edie did was that bad ... I think she's done worse ... but it was the last straw ...
I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of Edie Britt particularly since the show is zipping five years into the future ... Edie can leave Wisteria Lane and come back a "changed" woman ...
Kayla needs to be killed ... ASAP ... like seriously! I would have slapped her and hung her on the coat rack LOL ... How is she going to prove that it wasn't the first time Lynette hit her? I don't like that Tom isn't supporting Lynette ...
I knew she wasn't the real Dylan! I can't wait until we finally find out what happened to Katherine ... and I hope she sticks around ... I am really diggin Dana Delaney ...

I'm with you, RTD! I'm also glad to see you posting, again! It would be great for Dana Delaney to stick around, and I hope they keep her.Rowlf_The_Dog wrote:What a fantastic episode! By the way, about this "5 years into the future" thing. I really hope that they don't stay there. Hopefully, it will just be for this season finale.

Your wish isn't coming true LOL
It is sticking there next season ...
And ... spoiler warning ... from what I hear someone will have spent 5 years in jail ... someone will have died ... someone will be remarried ... someone will be hard of hearing ... someone will be sorta famous-ish ... and someone will have a baby/babies ...
and I think Edie will be back ...
AND ... I'm glad I'm back too ... I've missed posting on here ... and you my DH buddy MM1 ...
Oh ... and I hope Wayne doesn't like ... kill Katherine or something ... She needs to stick around ...
Another thing ... "Queer As Folk" actor Gale Harold will be joining the series in a recurring status (rumored to be involved in next season's mystery) ... we will see him in the final moments of the finale ...

I've missed you, too, my DH, B&S, SatC, and sometimes Madonna buddy!
I'm sad to hear that they will stay in the future. I hope that the rumor isn't true.
I'm VERY excited to hear that Gale Harold will be joining the cast! I had such a crush on him on Queer As Folk! Yay!!!

I cannot say that I wouldn't have done the same in Lynette's shoes--I would've done much worse. Tom pisses me off, as he has nearly the entire series, because he always assumes the worst of Lynette. Not that she hasn't been in the wrong sometimes, but is right more often than not. I seriously hope Lynette does not go to jail. It's amazing how you can become so attached to fictional characters.
I'm glad the cast took a stand against Edie (it reminds me of the season 4 promo with the way they were walking down the street). Trampy people irritate me.
Also, I'm excited about Gale Harold as well! I didn't like Queer As Folk, but he's definitely a great actor and can give off a "mysterious" vibe easily. Has anyone noticed that they kind of switch genders ever season? Paul / Betty / Orson / Katherine / and another guy.
I've heard that Gabby will have two children in the future season. That's really going to spice up her storyline, as she's only been the "manipulative wife" since the show started (though still hilarious). Maybe being a mother will give her storyline somewhere else to go.
