Disney Princesses
I decided to make a semi risky vid. (NOT THAT TYPE) by featuring our fav. Disney Heroines in the limelight even Jessica Rabbit makes a cameo in the vid.
My Humps: Disney's Princesses are risking it all by strutin' their lumps/humps to the boys.

Again I made it out of fun and deeply sorry for offending anybody with the song.

I also agree that the High School Musical part was really out of place.
The only problem other than that little bit is that it drags in some parts. Like the Little Mermaid part at 0:17-0:20. It went on for 2 lines more than perhaps it should have. This also happened for at least 0:40-0:42 during the Robin Hood part.
Also the Robin Hood/Cinerella part from 1:14-1:21 felt a little flat. Instead of being part of a funny parody, it felt like something Disney would have decided to do for their channel, their own pairing of images. I don't think they have a very keen understanding of irony / satire.
I also have to say... why no moments taken from Oliver & Company? There was a great sequence with Georgette (that the name? I obviously have to re-watch that one) bragging in that musical number about how great and glamorous she was...
But, other than those moments, I thought the video was pure genious.
Especially: 0:09-0:17 (Jungle Book / Little Mermaid), 0:20-0:27 (Cinderella / Peter Pan), 0:32-0:39 (Aladdin / Robin Hood), 0:42-0:46 (Sleeping Beauty), 0:48-1:14 (Beauty and the Beast / Lady and the Tramp / Alice in Wonderland / Peter Pan / Tarzan / Robin Hood), 1:21-1:45 (Cinderella / Who Framed Roger Rabbit / Jungle Book), 1:49-2:28 (Aladdin / Peter Pan / Lady and the Tramp / Beauty and the Beast / Peter Pan / Sleeping Beauty / Aladdin / Snow White / Peter Pan / Dumbo / Lady and the Tramp / Jungle Book / Roger Rabbit), 2:58-3:27 (Aladdin / Beauty and the Beast / Dumbo / Snow White / Lady and the Tramp / Jungle Book / Robin Hood)
As for my very favorite moments... I loved the Peter Pan moment with Wendy swirling her finger around and Peter Pan doing the rapping from 0:59-1:06, the Lady and the Tramp clips of Peg and Lady during the "you don't want no drama" part, the Aladdin clips of Jasmine during the part where she's trying to make Jafar think she's seducing him, and the Dumbo "Pink Elephant..." clips of the Belly Dancing Elephant and lightning-bolt dancer.
I rated the clip 4 out of 5 on YouTube.

I seriously don't get why High School Musical felt out of place? I didn't want all animation in the pic, (hence Zac/Vanessa and Jessica Rabbit appeared) luckly this the only risky vid. I'll make for now.

It was for a pretty big reason. It's live action & very modern. It's too expected, it seems like it could easily go along with the song. The animated pics, including Jessica Rabbit, are in partial contrast to the song, while being humorously linked to the theme of it. The animated parts are funny, the HSM part is sad.Mason_Ireton wrote:I seriously don't get why High School Musical felt out of place? I didn't want all animation in the pic, (hence Zac/Vanessa
Didn't seem too expected from my understanding, remember you didn't plan on seeing Zac and Vanessea appearing in the 1st place *laughs*Lazario wrote:It was for a pretty big reason. I'm really glad you enjoy YOUR vid Meg. I think the ending was perfect way to end it. Tried to include a Pete and Elliot scene but my dvd ripper wasn't working properly.

My Humps was pretty good. Because the whole thing was for the sake of comedy, the unexpected, and mismatchig (like a dirty song matched with Disney clips), I thought the High School Musical clip was perfectly fine. Some humor does, after all, come from the unusual or unexpected.
As for I'll Be There For You, the whole thing was almost great, except this time the High School Musical clips were a no no. If everything's going to be animation, you can't insert live-action clips because it will look out of place. So unless you're trying to be funny, don't do it. The Alice and Belle opening was particularly nice, and afterward everything was great and went with the lyrics. And actually, the Geni's magic actually perfectly fit the worldess instrumental part of the song. Great video!
