The animals are actually time paradoxed.

back to topic. I don't get why the song in cindy 3 preview is that bad to you guys. I prefer that over the one she sings about begin center of all attention one.

Does anyone have an audio / video clip of Jennifer Hale doing Aurora's voice? Then we could compare!

Do you mean that Jennifer Hale is doing the speaking voices for Cinderella and Aurora?

And who is doing the singing voice for Aurora?

Here is a short video I made of Jennifer Hale providing the voice of Aurora. I took the sound from the Disney Princess Royal Horse Show CD-ROM. As I posted before Jennifer Hale is NOT the voice of Aurora in the Enchanted Tales DVD series as you will soon discover after hearing these audio clips.

Short video I made of Jennifer Hale providing the voice of Aurora:

Leslie French and Kim Huber, the women who sing on the Princess CD's, do a good job singing in a Mary Costa type voice. Jennifer Hale, who voices most of the Aurora merchandise and Cinderella, sounds just like Mary Costa, it's really uncanny. Why these women are not voicing Aurora in the Enchanted Tales DVD series is a mystery. It is still unknown who is voicing Aurora in the upcoming Enchanted Tales DVD series.

Thanks a ton for that, Disney Villain! I was wondering if the Aurora voice I've heard in merchandise was Jennifer Hale, and indeed it was. As I said before, I think she makes a better Aurora than Cinderella. Why they didn't bring her in for Enchanted Tales is a mystery to me. The girl voicing Aurora in this is completely off. She's high-pitched and speaks in elevated whispers when the character has the deepest voice of any of the princesses, and Cinderella is the one known for whispering, not Aurora. The singing voice is deeper and crisper, but not deep enough. Whoever provides the singing in Enchanted Tales sounds more like Nala to me, whose voice is meant for deep pop ballads rather than rangy opera. Hmmm...

No problem, I've wanted to prove that Jennifer Hale was a great voice for Aurora, for a long time. I also think that Jennifer Hale does a fantastic job as Aurora, and i'm just dissapointed that she is not providing Aurora's voice for the Enchanted Tales DVD series.

I have a theory for why the voices are all screwed up (Aurora's voice and Jasmine's singing voice). Could it that the women who currently do fantastic jobs at voicing Aurora and singing for Jasmine were busy with other things for Disney at the time that Enchanted Tales was in production?

I think that Jennifer Hale was busy recording dialogue for Cinderella III while Enchanted Tales was in production, and therefore could not provide the speaking voice for Aurora.
Leslie French and Kim Huber, the women who sing for Aurora on the Princess CD's/merchandise and Lea Salonga (Original singing voice of Jasmine) were all recording Disney Princess CD's like the Christmas Album or Tea Party Album while Enchanted Tales was in production. If all these women were busy doing other things, then Disney would be forced to find a new voice for Aurora, therefore grabbing the first pop singer they could find, and would have to bring in Liz Callaway for Jasmine. Other voices like Paige O' Hara (Belle) and Linda Larkin (Jasmine), since they were tied to nothing else, were able to provide the voices for their characters.

I personally dislike that voice for Aurora. Doesn't sound like Mary Costa to me either.

Thank you so much for the audio Disney Villain! Was very insightful to Jennifer's Princess voicework. I'm not too sure I like her as Aurora's voice though.......in the original movie, her speaking voice was quite high, and her singing voice was low. Jennifer in contrast is making her speaking voice low. Hmmmm I still prefer her as Cinderella.

On the subject of Lea Salonga doing Jasmines singing voice, I think you'll find that it actually IS her doing it! I thought it may have been Liz Callaway, but its is far too much like Lea's recent Jasmine voicework. Listen to her recent Jasmine efforts, and they sound just like the trailer. Liz Callaway sounded compleatly different in her version of Jasmine.

I hadn't heard Jennifer Hale doing Aurora's voice until right now (since I haven't seen any Princess DVDs or heard any Princess CDs with new songs)- thanks, Disney Villain! I think that Jennifer Hale does a better job voicing Cinderella than for Aurora- it didn't really sound like Aurora. I agree with atlanticaunderthesea- Aurora speaks higher than she sings in the original film.

But Mooney has no intention of abandoning the Princesses. He's refreshing the royal line by dressing them all in gold. Disney will showcase the gold Princesses at Toy Fair, the tradeshow unspooling in Gotham Feb. 11.

In September, a DVD called "Enchanted Tales, Follow Your Dreams" will feature new music and stories with the gold versions of Sleeping Beauty, Jasmine and Belle. "In order to sustain the consumer, you have to have new ways to present the property ... Gold is a very regal color. A color other than pink," Mooney observes.
Wow, there are quite a few conflicting stories about the princess dvds. that's from Variety, btw. So we've heard there'll be two dvds, both with Aurora and one other, but now we're hearing that theyll all 3 be on on dvd, dressed in gold? In none of the trailers or previews ive seen have there been princesses dressed in gold... maybe at the climax/resolution?

the full article is here: http://www.variety.com/article/VR111795 ... id=13&cs=1 but its mostly Fairy-related.

Right, so there will be Enchanted Tales dolls etc! I think that they look lovely; much better quality than some of the dolls Disney has been churning out at the moment. The gold dresses thing is strange, isnt it? Hmmm....

And also, by featuring all of the Princesses wearing gold dresses in the display, can we presume that they will all be featured in the Enchanted Tales DVD collection line? I really hope so! And I'm not one of those people who do not want Snow White featured, I think she would be great! I would be suprised though if Ariel and Cinderella got any stories soon, because of their part III movies coming out.

Alos, did you notice that there was a doll set featuring both Aurora and Jasmine together? So they are deffo going to be together. AND in Aurora's box, one of her acessories is 'The Key To The Kingdom'! :)

wow, now, I'm so confused!!!

I think that the DVD comming in September is featuring Aurora and Jasmine, only. (not Belle at the moment)

This article confirms that there will be new stories and songs for Snow White, Ariel and Cinderella, which is so cool!!! :D

Gold dresses???? There are no gold dresses in the trailers or the previews. :?

Hold on a sec; I read in another article that Disney Fairies items were all in the January sales, and they were seriously worried about 2007 for the fairies, as there will be no new movie out as promised! But in this article, it says that the Fairies are doing better than the Princesses?!?!?!? :?

Give me Princesses any day !! !!
