Narnia isn't being destroyed; not because the onkey lied annyway.
it was just time for Narnia to end, all worlds must come to an end, and it was
Narnia's turn.Susan didn't het to go to Narnia because she stoped believing in
Narnia, she grew up too much too soon and she started thinking that Narnia
had just been a childhood game they used to play.
if it makes you feel any better, C.S. Lewis himself said that Susan's story
had not ended;which leads me to believe that may be when
she died she would see that Narnia existed and she could pick
The Real Narnia over The Real World...it made me so angry that Susan didn't
believe anymore and didn't die with her brothers, sister, and parents;
it might be the only thing that if changed in the movie wouldn't make me too angry.

and Caspian is similar to Snow White now that you mention it, its just like
Hercules and Aurora

Ha,okay, thanks for explaining :D and the book is good,it just those thing that bothered me.
ah,okay :D i thought that what monkey did made Aslan put an end to Narnia.
I"m also think it's not right to grow up too fast but i"m also angry that she didn't came back to Narnia, stoped believe and didn't died with the rest of her faimily,i think that in the film she will be back to Narnia, she will believe and she will die with the others.
Maybe in that book when she died maybe the death of her family made her believe and anyway when she died she will prefer the real Narnia.
Wait, are the real Narnia and real World are different places? they can't meet their parents?
.
I"m glad you agree :D.
Good point about Aurora being similar to Hercules (they both lived with someone else away from their parents without knowing the truth about themselfs becouse of the villains,Aurora is a princess and Hercules is a prince).

don't forget that Scamp (Lady and The Tramp II) and Melody (The Little Mermaid II) have the exact same story as well.
i think all the Real Worlds are conetced, and because of that they could see their parents.

Yeah,i thought of that,i think that Pocahontas and Ariel have similar, too (in fact-i think Pocahontas is very similar to Ariel and Belle,i never understand why people are comparing her to Mulan).
I also think that Giselle and Aladdin are similar.
Yeah,i thought of that,too.
The part when they met everyone from the other books was great :D and thought they died at least in the real worlds there's everything they wanted and are happy.

I wonder when and if, Disney Channel will be going behind the scenes of "Prince Caspian". And will Disney channel EVER premiere "The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe"? I know its longer than they usually air, but if they can air a NON DISNEY COMPANY movie (*cough* Harry Potter *cough*) then they can certainly air TLWTW.
Disney Channel died when they stopped airing movies with Haley mills (Parent Trap and Pollyanna) and fun adventure movies like Swiss Family Robinson. R.I.P. the REAL Disney Channel. Date of Death: When the shows became teenie bopperish.

I'm sure the Disney channel will air Chronicles of Narnia sometime in the near future, but you have to factor in whether any of the cable networks have snagged the cable TV rights (usually for a 3-4 year period) during its theatrical run. And because CON is kid-friendly like Harry Potter, it'll be aired on the Disney channel sometime... but I highly doubt Disney will air any of their Pirates of the Caribbean films as it's much less kid-friendly than the previous two franchises.

Ahem, and some more PC-related news:

Scoring session photos of Harry Gregson-Williams recording his score for Prince Caspian are up!

Some lowdowns about the score:
- The sequel's score is recorded in London as opposed to the L.A. union orchestra for the first film
- HGW used a slightly bigger ensemble for PC (81 piece orchestra as opposed to the 75 pieces for LWW), which is being recorded at Abbey Road Studios
- And as the one-sheet poster states, we will definitely get some score cues included on the soundtrack release (maybe a score-only release with only one or two songs)

Did anyone hear that Disney will probably stop making The Chronicles of Narnia movies if this one doesn't do EXTREMELY well in theaters? And the movie franchise to replace it will be John Carter of Mars. Which will be Pixars first live action film? I'm only mentioning this because I really love the CON books and the first movie was better than I expected it to be. And this next one looks awesome and I was surprised when I read the article and thought you all might want to know. If you want to read the article about this go here : http://jimhillmedia.com/blogs/jim_hill/ ... -mars.aspx

that's really unfair, if they were only looking for really high amounts of money, they should not have started making a very big and followed franchise to only leave it if it wasn't the next Star Wars, now no one else will make the rest of the movies if this happens.

Unless PC REALLY tanks I bet they at least do The Silver Chair as well.

I have however been somewhat unconvinced of them doing all the books, even though previously I'd heard that they would. The Horse and His Boy is centered around characters who don't appear in any of the other books. There also may be a concern about racism, since much of the actions takes palce in a country that is essentially a parody of Arabic and Persian culture.

The Magician's Nephew also centers around characters that we don't know, except that we later find out that we have met one of them before, just at a different time and place. Anyone who's read The Last Battle can tell you that Disney would have some MAJOR concerns there too.

I doubt Disney Channel will air Chronicles of Narnia anytime soon (though I think they SHOULD). The only movies longer than 2 hours that they air are Harry Potter, which are WB studio movies, not DISNEY studio.

Why haven't they done any movie surfer's segments for behind the scenes of Prince Caspian yet? They've only been doing College Road Trip for "latest disney movies in theatres" segments.

May be they're trying to be more advanced into the series so there can be less space between Narnia movie premieres, kind of what they did to the Pixar movies. And i think i saw one of those commercials that Disney Channel airs every January that shows what is coming up through the year, and it had The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe; but since i saw it on YouTube it might not be true.

Here is an amazing clip that aired on Disney Channel.

finally some animation of Reepicheep.

does anyone really believe that Jim Hill article?

I doubt Disney would trade in an established franchise for John Carter.

Prince Caspian will make at least $400 million internationally (they love fantasy) and at least $200 million in the US.

why would they prefer JC over easy money? This is still Disney we're talking about.

I think Disney is also paying attention to the movies that will be coming out this summer. I mean The Dark Knight, Indiana Jones, The Mummy 3 and I think there's something else that's going to be really big. (I think Wanted, it looks awesome.) And PC is pretty much starting off the summer movie season. And with ticket prices being what the are nowadays and the fact that it only takes about 4 months or less for movies to come out on DVD it would be easier to wait for some movies to come out on DVD. I personally go to pre-screenings of movies so I don't have to spend $10 on most movies. (I will be giving Disney my $10 though.)

Hmm, I have Disney Channel on a fair amount (and its on almost too much at my sister's house, since my 8 1/2 year old niece is addicted to the channel) and that was the first time I'd seen that clip with the actor that plays Caspian.

I really need to finish the book before May 16.

I saw this once on Disney Channel a few months ago. (And I just happened to be passing the channel.) But hopefully they'll start showing it again along with more of these Narnia Adventure things soon.

nix what I said the other day - I finally saw this on Disney Channel yesterday. In fact, I saw it twice in an hour.

So I just found out that the first teaser trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will debut in front of Prince Caspian. Which now means I'll probably end up seeing the movie despite not wanting to.

I don't understand why they would attach it to PC though. A large percentage of the target demographic for the Narnia series are the same people who burn the HP books. Though I suppose they do share a lot of fans too. Just seems like a risky move that could backfire on Disney. I know there was one family who got up and left Happy Feet when the OotP trailer came on. I could potentially see a lot of people doing the same thing with PC.

Meh, I'm sure the trailer will be online around the same too. Either in official or bootleg release. I'll see it there. Narnia isn't getting another penny of my money.
