Ok, I'm done being hyper now.
Whoops! The "D" in "desktopimage2011" should have been capitalized.

This one should work now.

You could try recreating it or asking Jane if she still has the image or images. If she emailed it to you she may have have it as an attachment in her sent items?

Just a suggest anyway. Found low resolutions versions of those, but you could probably find better ones:

http://img.listal.com/image/214664/600f ... cadams.jpg

If you were going to recreate it, you could take the screen shot and scale it up, then replace the images on screen with higher resolution one, in addition to wiping out the desktop icons. Ideas anyway!

Just to address some recent issues -- bandwidth should not be a concern. However, it is always nice to refrain from double posting and to clump pictures together as much as possible. Otherwise, I haven't noticed any major infringements. :tink:

Nice Rachel McAdams wallpaper, Albert! :thumb:

I have tried to recreate your wallpaper:

http://picasaweb.google.com/11075964698 ... directlink

If you click the link above there are two 1920 x 1200 images for download (about 1.4 MB). One is the image below and the other is closer to your original wallpaper.

Reconstructed with the GIMP.

Enjoy

I've been using this picture as my background for the past couple months:

Cool, I see now! :D I wish cases weren't so darned sensitive. ;)

I could have sworn I'd already posted this here somewhere, but I'm not seeing it now. Anyway, here's my literal desktop. Or at least how it was arranged a few months ago before we made a bigger frankendesk, moved everything around, and replaced the right monitor. I'll have to take an update photo, but first I'll have to clean things up a bit.

Image

And this is the wallpaper I've been using ever since I upgraded to Windows 7 (it's one of the defaults):

I don't normally go for something so abstract but I sorta fell in love with it. :D

Oh wow, thanks, Hogi! You didn't have to go to all that trouble! But I really appreciate it! This was one of my favorite wallpapers, and now I can use it again!

Thanks and no problem, I like a challenge. 8)

Anyway, I've edited the pictures, posted as new ones. There were a few black/grey outlines around the sleeves and other areas, which I have removed.

http://picasaweb.google.com/11075964698 ... directlink

I've also added new colour (transparent tint) variations too, so you can check those out if you like.

Just in case you didn't notice, to download the 1920x1200 image you have to click the Download button at the top. Right clicking and "saving image as" will download a smaller version.

Anyway, enjoy!!!

I had had my old desktop for a while, and this past weekend I decided it was time for a change. I'm really proud of the final result! :)
