Sorry if I posted this at a bad time. I just found it.
No worries.

A cute clip, although the cutting and the humor is quite non-Disney. However, this film will probably ble fun.
I find the humor cute. No pop culture referances. No mature "past the radar" jokes. No potty humor. No Shrek. :)

I find the beginning of this part adorable though. Reminds me of Ariel and Eric's first meeting in the Little Mermaid. Except, rather than saving Flynn Rapunzel knocked him out. ^_^ It's one of those, "Wow. He's handsome" moments that alot of movie characters get. Love it!

Many of the reviewers are commenting that the songs in Tangled aren't as strong as the ones in the previous classics, but they've been saying that since Beauty and the Beast- I remember reading similar 'songs are inferior/more forgettable/generic' comments about Aladdin, Lion King, Pocahontas, etc., and now the songs in those movies have somehow become a standard to which P&tF and Tangled have been compared to. Just found that kind of interesting.

NEW CLIP: the smolder
<object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/K0Re-KecYd4?fs ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/K0Re-KecYd4?fs=1&hl=nl_NL" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>

I love that flirty music that plays when Flynn does the smolder xD

i do think they made rapunzel to childlike in this clip. She almost looks like a toddler.

I love her eyes in all of these. The colors are amazing. The closet clip is very funny too, although her difficulties getting him in seem a little over the top. I know it would be difficult, but lol, the ways she moves him are all over the place funny. :)

Ugh...the media is trying to kill this film.

Yahoo is now elaborating on the LA Times article. Disney needs to make a press release if this is in fact untrue, and not just a post on facebook.

I have sent that message before on this thread, but thanks for the reminder about that website anyway. Disney should cross their fingers, and hope that it would attract not just girls, but boys as well.

That clip is great–I love how Rapunzel watches the smolder as if she's waiting for something to happen.

jpanimation, if you think the art direction is pretty, I'd go for it–nothing like a big screen for a pretty film. Otherwise, if you're undecided, wait for the DVD. No harm, no foul. :)

LOL the comments on the article can be ridiculous
"The clip I saw above of Tangled looks like Disney promotes domestic violence & criminal activities, with the princess using a cast iron skillet to knock out the prince then stuff his body in the closet to cover up her crime. I am against the changes to the classic movies. You want more hip and action then come up with new stories (or writers) and leave the classics alone."
