Not to turn this religious, but I won't stand by hate, everyone.

It means that Polizzi has not realized that there is nothing wrong with beeing gay. He will make perverted sexual jokes about Rapunzel and Flynn Rider and blowjobs, and he will watch shows like Family Guy where lots of bad things are done by the main characters like doing perverted sexual things and jokes, kill people, or just generally be horrible to people and have horrible views on life and not have anything sacred, but he still thinks that a man loving another man or a woman loving another man is wrong. If he does this for religious reasons, then I must point out the Bible says all sorts of the things churches only pick and choose to follow, and the Bible doesn't say which church to follow. You must choose yourself want to believe, the only way to know what God wants is in your heart, which he gave you, and gays know in their hearts that God wants them to be happy, loving who they love, even if it's someone of the same sex, because that makes them happy.

If this turns into a religious debate I will move it to the appropriate thread. Don't worry.

I don't mind people being gay, it's just that I don't watch gay shows, EXCEPT ONE, "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry," an Adam Sandler movie about two men, pretending to be gay in order to come up with the money to support a family man's children. That is a good movie. I will never forget the time that my second youngest brother, Chris, and I went see that movie, because it is funny. I could not tell if it is a gay movie, funny movie, or all of the above, but it's still a good movie worth watching, but you Disney fans are going to like that movie...maybe.

P.S. Flynn Rider is NOT gay...maybe. But I can tell you this, my brother-in-law assumes that he's gay, after I have explained to him about what he is and what he looks like.

Wait... Do you have always the dutch opening titles and other translated scenes on your DVDs and BDs? I'm just wondering because here in Germany we get almost on every release just the original. There are just a few exceptions like the Pixar's, the Snow White PE or PatF, on which we got both.

You can tell what what gay people look like???? just by looking at them...??? well okay some you can that you see on tv I.E. Ross Matthews of Tonight show fame or Spongebob but I mean in real life....unless they are wearing a neon sign that says Hi, I'm Gay Yay!. that kind of talk reminds me of KKK and that type of thinkg of the Ku Klux Klan is just....makes me want to vomit. No one can tell just by looking at a person whether they are gay or not and honestly who cares whether one is or not....

No one should assume anything about anybody....because when you assume...you make an ass out of U and Me hence the way Assume means and is spelled ASS U ME

To tell you the truth, I cannot tell who are gay, and who are not, but that is none of my concern, sorry. And are we going to talk about the movie or about the characters in the movie being gay? This is not a gay spread, this is a Disney movie spread. We are supposed to talk about how the movie is going, and how the production of the movie is going as well, not about Flynn Rider being gay, which he is not. Sorry for trying to get on the different subject people, but this talk about Flynn Rider being gay is a waste of time. Let us just say that Flynn Rider is like Aladdin, but different.

By the way, in the Disney trailer for, "Rapunzel (Tangled)," in the scene where Rapunzel steps into the light after she tangles Flynn Rider to her chair, have you ever get the feeling that the scene is a reference to the Beast coming into the light after Belle asks him to come into the light from Disney's, "Beauty and the Beast?" And by the way, was the trailer supposed to be three minutes long, because from the looks of the length, it only lasts for two minutes and six seconds. And as for the trailer that bears the name, "Rapunzel," one minute and fifty-eight seconds. But who cares, it is a good trailer, and a good movie worth seeing.

You forgot to mention how the newer ren and stimpy episodes, there was a lot of gay innuendo which makes it even more ironic.
Yeah, totally didn't think about that, but I'm sure he'd find a way to justify why he can get away with any innuendo and why Disney can't, real or imagined.

Makes me think of my favorite comment from the blog entry in question . . .
burnt toast (on the John K. blog) wrote:That is cool how you can tell that a cartoon character is gay. I wonder if you could tell from a photograph. Like, if I sent you a picture of myself, maybe you could look at it really carefully and figure out if I'm gay. Let me know if you'd like to do that.
"Burnt toast" wasn't replied to. :p

Still no word on what it will be called in Canada. I've pretty much lost all hope because in the US and UK it's Tangled, and it would make no sense to make it anything else in Canada.

Now that you say it...Yeah Pascal does remind me of Flit (the bird from Pocahontas). Yes even its eyes remind me of the motion of how Flit was so comical without saying anything in english and just humming like a bird

I've never seen a film get a different title here than in the United States, so I think it's pretty much Tangled up here as well.

No it isn't. He can say he doesn't watch gay shows. I don't recall joining this forum requires you agree with every gay's stance or opinion. Just because this forum is filled with gays doesn't mean he has to like everything that is cultured with homosexual.

Sorry bring this discussion but I really get annoyed when someone states something or have an opinion of something that usually or might goes against the majority of a certain group of people, that group of people shuns him and demand he/she to apologize or retract that statement.

ok back to tangle guys.

Not always. I guess it's the same as in Germany.

However, I think that the English version of Tangled will also be called Rapunzel on the DVD or BLU-RAY. That's also what they did with Cinderella III.

Also, I think some people will get confused if they play the English version of a movie which has the title Rapunzel on the cover, and Tangled in the title sequence.

Nintendo just announced a new "Tangled" game on the new Nintendo 3Ds, the handheld gaming device, which offers 3D imagery without the need of glasses...
