I thought so, since she's already dancing with the dwarves in Whistle While You Work.
Very sad indeed :-( They have made so many changes, that the message and spirit of Snow White is completely gone.
The silly song was one of my favourites moments from the original movie. They created a great atmosphere with this song and Someday my prince will come. It's really weird what they are making. On the one they are trying to create something visually similar to the original classic to attract people that feel nostalgia for the original movie but on the other hand they are making a weird mix of Mirror Mirror and Snow White and the huntsman to make them look like if they were modern and creative. Right now I have the feeling that you have when you see an 70 years old person dressed like a teenager.

Exactly my thoughts. Removing such iconic tunes from the movie is really weird. Not to mention the new Waiting On A Wish song sounds so generic, uninteresting and forgettable. I don't understand what they are doing. I love almost all the live action adaptations, I don't mind little changes here and there, but this is ridiculous.

We genuinely don't know what the song list will look like. We know for sure that there is an I Want song called Waiting on a Wish. We know based on the trailers that Whistle While You Work and Heigh-Ho are there. We know the Queen has a song called All Is Fair based on interviews Gal Gadot has given.

We don't know for sure what has been cut. I think my issue on this thread is that things are stated as facts when we really don't know, then people get mad for no reason. This happened in TLM live-action remake thread. It isn't a fact that The Silly Song got cut. We have no way to know until March 2025.

I assumed The Silly Song has been cut merely because we know she's dacing with the dwarves during Whistle While You Work. I don't see them having almost two identical scenes in the movie.

The animation of Snow White and the Dwarfs dancing to A Silly Song has always been my favorite sequence. It really showed how they developed their bond and how they grew to love each other.

As you said they created a bond between the character during The Silly Song and My prince will come. I don't know how can they make the same during Whistle while you work.

Also, Cinderella never rode a horse in the original film, but she rode a horse in the live-action remake. Why is it bad now that Snow White is riding a horse? This is not the film being woke or girl boss or whatever. It's common sense that a princess who is the rightful heir to the throne would want to get back her kingdom from her tyrannical stepmother, who is a usurper to the throne. Then of course she would need the help of Jonathan, his bandits, and her dwarf friends to reclaim her rightful place as queen.

Moreover, we all know these remakes expand on things that their animated counterpart left out, so this film will naturally expand on several plot points. Just think of Snow White like the Cinderella live-action remake. The same story, but expanded into a fantasy period drama. They're practically similar fairy tales.

It's very believable that RZ gets death threats. Even random people on Twitter get death threats. People are truly crazy out here.

Oh, and I feel like the hairstyle is not Snow White's choice. If you saw the leaked trailer, you'll see that Young Snow White has long hair. It's very possible that the Queen makes SW cut it for her to look ugly on purpose. That's my theory with the hairstyle.

I don’t hate her either, but my god she really needs to… think about what she says and how she says it before she says it or it will only cause more problems for her projects and make things worse.

Dislike and hatred are different things, but some posters conflate the two to try to make their arguments less flimsy. Not sure why they want to have a to-do over a bad film destined to do poorly, but okay... Even if Zegler wasn't annoying, this film would still be getting torn to shreds; her being annoying is just one more thing to add to the pile.

I agree that the movie looks mediocre but so does other live action disney movie (except Cruella)

Blaming Rachel on Disney mediocrity is wrong, specially when she's a good singer (a big problem with Beauty And The Beast was that Emma was a mediocre singer)

Not sure what you're saying, but people criticize Zegler because she's unlikable and yet they would be criticizing the movie itself regardless of her though. I don't think Cruella is better than the rest; better than some though. Nice trolling attempts though.

Trolling is saying that Cruella is the superior Live Action movie? It's the general opinion in social media, not just me

No, you said two things that were both tailor-made trolling. Maybe you fool the people who don't know who you are, but I'm not one of them. Anyway, I don't think Cruella is regarded as special among the remakes, but it is in the upper half of them.

What two things?

That live action remakes are mediocre and that Emma Watson is not a good singer?

Is that trolling?

I read Disney is bracing for both this and the new Captain America to lose money. I wonder why they didn't keep the budget here under control then? Even if they'd made all the right decisions with this fillm, it still wouldn't have been a big earner. Captain America is one of the less interesting superheroes for me, not really surprised about that one either.

Inside Out 2, Moana 2, and Deadpool 3 did so massive, it'll balance the losses, I guess.

They were films that were victims of Chapek and his mismanagement that by the time they started filming, it was too late for them as they were rushed into production.

Also, Mufasa might do massive too alongside those 3 films. So yeah, it’ll balance the losses.

Yeah, that's another one that I'd expect to be big, TLK is so popular.

Disney fans blame Chapek for everything, like yes I hate that guy but you can't say everything bad in the company is due to him, he has been out of the company for 2 years

Yet it still was being worked and was filmed during his tenure, and was finished filming 5 months before his firing.

Do Disney fans do that? I only remember one person here doing that, tbh, and I think it was a friend of Pokenonbinary's actually.
