it`s a great game for all MK-Fan as me, it mix a nice adventure mode(like in MK mythiologies) and that fight feeling but with controls a la soul calibur 2
Too bad that you can`t complete the 100% of your game without using the Ko-op game, because nowone of my friends like the fight games
Fifa 2006
What could be better that a football afternoon just with your friends and your favorite team?
an improved first-touch ball control mode
Still playing La Pucelle Tactics (powerleveling is so tedious...)
Been playing a bit of Disgaea, as well as the Dragon Quest VIII demo (damn! The demo's tough!) from the latest issue of the Official Playstation Magazine.
Played the new Call of Duty (2?) on Xbox 360 today . WOW......it was so hard, the bombs kept making my screen shake so i couldn't even aim! It was hard as well, you could actually be killed (which is more than you can say for other 'realistic' war games) The graphics were amazing!
Great game. I loved Soul Calibur when it came out on the dreamcast and the only reason I bought the dreamcast was to play Soul Calibur. I just got Soul Calibur II, and its such a complex and innovative fighting game, much better than dead or alive and Tekken.
Right now, I'm in the middle of Fire Emblem; GC. Nice story, engaging gameplay.
At the same time: Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time (DS). Very fun game. I LOVE MARIO's RPGs games. They're so cool.
Pikmin 2: I really wanted this one above all but it was too expensive. But today at SAM'S I found it for $20. Very nice and entertaining game. I wanted this one because I liked and finished the fitst one. And that one was too short. This I've read is quite long.
Metroid Prime 2: I never really liked MP. But since there are not that many good games for the GC (that I don't already have) and cheap, I decided on buying it.
Somehow I'm enjoy it more than the first game.... however, the whole Dark World concept makes the game too hard and confusing.
Megaman X Collection
I agree that this collection is quite a let down from ANNIVERSARY; and it isn't just that the original games were better but the quantity of unlockables is very lacking. Plus, I don't like the menu screens and it is annoying that every time you die you have to go to the same slow saving screen.
.... I'll just need 2 more games to complete my GC library: the new Zelda and Baten Kaitos 2.
I've been playing Super Princess Peach for DS and enjoying it. It's pretty easy on the whole, but Bowser is no pushover. I failed on my first attempt, and that was before his second form.

Haha, I knew this thread was around here somewhere.
As of right now I'm playing SOCOM 3: U.S. Navy SEAL's single player and online. Single player is easy and I think it's awesome. Some missions are difficult but you know it's a tactical stradegy game, what do you expect really? You don't go in there and start killing people you have to come up with a plan. Anyways multiplayer is a lot harder because you're playing with people who have about less, same or more skill then you have. More or less more skill and you just have to go fully automatic on someone in order to kill them whereas in single player you shoot them a couple of times... they're dead. Plus most of the maps on multiplayer are really huge so must of the time you have to use a sniper rifle and a ghillie suit but most of the time other snipers see you and kill you. I hate that!!! I'm really good at close quarter combat but when it comes to sniping... I suck. It's awesome though because when I had my ghillie suit on sometimes the enemy walks up right by me and they don't see me. It's awesome, then I cap them in the head with my M87ELR. I love the M82A2 .50 Cal Sniper rifle, it's got a long range, you can shoot anyone anywhere and they'll die and you can disable vehicals with it too. Just a great gun. That and along with a Modle 18 fully automatic pistol spells deadly and doom for the SEAL's. My favorite weapon so far on the SEAL team is the IW-80, shoot's fast and accurate. On the terrorist side I like to use STG-77, once again fast and accurate but with a little less kick to it. The thing is to get those weapons you have to beat single player in the admiral difficutly lever, which is the highest. It's funny cuz my dad tries to play it and he sucks so I always say "here let the admiral show you how it's done."

I liked a LOT Skies. It was actually my firts RPG for the GC, and bought it when I knew it was OOP. The first time I played it, I didn't like it at all, and didn't go very far. The second time I played it, I got to the very last battles but since I arrived with a low level and no ammo I just couldn't win. Finally, I played it 1 last time and I loved it. For a first time in my life, I didn't care at all how much time I spent on the game.... and I made all the secondary battles except for the last.
VJ howver is a VERY hard game... and I played it on easy. AND, I don't know why but once I beat it I decided to buy the second part. And I still have it here somewhere.
I got Tetris DS today, and I've tried the Standard, Catch, and Push modes. I love the other two, but my brain is not quite wired for Push yet. I'm always trying to get lines wherever I can instead of waiting for two+ line combos.
If anyone is interested in having some Wi-fi gaming fun with Tetris, send me a PM. It would be cool to get some UD members playing together.

I've been working on both of those games for a few years now. (It usually takes me a while to beat anything.) I finally made it to Gran Bruce last night on Viewtiful Joe, and he tore me to pieces. It was a massacre. Stupid shark!
... or course neither of these games are as bad as Final Fantasy VII. (I don't mean bad as in not good!) I've been working on that game since shortly before the release of the PS2. I'm at the start of Disc 2, with all my characters over Level 60-ish. I anticipate finishing it on Playstation 3... hopefully, if not Playstation 4... or Playstation 5. It could take a while.
Thanks to all that offered to help with my Avatar...Starion, RJKD23 and cj!
It's a busy first quarter for a DS owner, that's for sure!
Today, I bought Worms: Open Warfare from my local GameStop. I've played Worms: Armageddon for the N64 and various computer demo versions, and I love the gameplay, but this is the first version I've owned.
I've just tried a little bit of the single-player so far, but it definitely meets my expectations. Two things that would have made this release even better: Holy Hand Grenades and Wi-Fi Connection.

Taito Legends 2 - An outstanding Retro Compliation.
There's far too many titles to list here, but a lot of these are top quality with excellent emulation. There's sprite and parallax effects on some of these which still makes my jaw drop even now.
Anyone who laments the slow decline of 2D animation in films should also have similar feelings about the decline of the sprite based video games. I mean, the backgrounds, sprites and animation in Elevator Action Returns almost being a tear to my eye.
Talking of Elevator Action Returns, this title alone on the Sega Saturn is fetching about £60! This is one of the highlights of the compilation!
Highlights
Elevator Action Returns
Liquid Kids
Cameltry
Metal Black
Darius Gaiden
Puzzle Bobble 2
Space Invaders '95
Insector X
Both the Xbox and PS2 compliations have the same number of titles, but each has 4 unique to that format. The Xbox version's exclusive titles are:
Bubble Symphony (YAY!)
Rayforce
Cadash
Pop 'n' Pop
