I never thought I will buy TV DVD, let alone an DVD player.

I recently brought one last November.

Once I saw the TV DVD at Best Buy, I couldn't help myself!

LOL

I am mostly interest of getting the 1970's shows; we hardly see them any more.

Yes, I don't have cable.

I still have my VCR. I won't give up my VCR either. I don't want to miss my daytime soaps!

I never thought about Target.

$10 is a very good buy for a SEASON SET!

I will go to Target too.

I am so happy that Target and Best Buy are next door neighbors in West Hollywood.

Best Buy is the MAIN STORE i get my TV DVDs.

I have

Angel Seasons 1-5
Buffy the Vampire Slayer Seasons 1-3
Andy Griffith Season 1
X-Files Season 4
Buffy: We have a marching jazz band?
Oz: Yeah, but, you know, since the best jazz is improvisational, we'd be going off in all directions, banging into floats... scary.

Hey TM2-Megatron, are you a fellow Beast Wars fan? I notice the use to "TM2" as Transmetal 2 (as in when Megatron was a dragon). BW is probably my favorite cartoon ever! Anyway:

I own these TV shows on DVD:

-Beast Wars seasons 1-3
-Original Transformers seasons 1-4
-Original Ninja Turtles cartoon season 1
-SpongeBob SquarePants Christmas and Halloween DVDs
-Muppet Show w/ Steve Martin, Carol Burnette, and Gilda Radner
-A Nicktoons Halloween DVD
and I think that's it.
But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.

Yep, that's where I got the name I use here; BW is one of my favourites, and definately the best TF cartoon around.

Up until recently, I actually had a prejudece against TV on DVD. However, this is fortunately beginning to go away, especially since I've begun to buy some discs featuring the yellow people. I currently have (including shorts which have been on TV, I presume)...

The Simpsons: Season 4
The Simpsons: Season 6
Walt Disney Treasures: Silly Symphonies
Walt Disney Treasures: Mickey Mouse in Living Colour Volume 1
Walt Disney Treasures: Mickey Mouse in Living Colour Volume 2
Walt Disney Treasures: The Chronological Donald Volume 1

Region 1:
Walt Disney Treasures: On the Front Lines (some of that would have been on TV at some point)
Walt Disney Treasures: The Complete Pluto

And here's my wish list...

Region 2:
Futurama: Complete Collection Boxset
Goodness Gracious Me: The Ultimate Collection
The Simpsons: Around the World in Eighty D'ohs
The Simpsons: Christmas 2
The Simpsons: Season 2
The Simpsons: Season 5
The World of Peter Rabbit and Friends

Region 1:
Scooby Doo, Where are You?: Seasons 1 and 2
Walt Disney Treasures: Behind the Scenes at the Walt Disney Studios

Walt Disney Treasures: Disney Rarities
Walt Disney Treasures: The Chronological Donald Volume 2

Not announced yet:
Alice in Wonderland (1980s mini series)
The Simpsons Season 8 and beyond
Walt Disney Treasures: Disney Rarities Volume 2 (there's a whole load of special shorts left out there...John Henry, The Small One, various Figaro and Chip and Dale shorts...)
Walt Disney Treasures: The Chronological Donald Volume 3
Walt Disney Treasures: The Chronological Donald Volume 4 (if it gets to that length)
Walt Disney Treasures: The Complete Pluto Volume 2

I really want that as well, they're releasing it again tomorrow i've heard, so might get it, not sure yet, may wait till after Christmas :)

Also, does anyone have the R2 Ally McBeal complete series dvds in the thick white dvd cases, i'm interested in picking these up, but i'm not sure of the quality.

Thanks,
