At this moment in time, i have 73, with 33 disney dvds, including 4 duplicates, (only bought to upgrade on the original edition) and the 6 pixar movies, and 2 treasures
I'm proud of my little collection, but i don't want many other dvds at the moment, although i do want the futurama boxsets, so i don't expect it to grow too rapidly

I don't have them in front of me but I've got somewhere around 30. All a mix of this and that.
Rough guess
Disney Animation: 6
Don Bluth Animation: 5
Other animation (Rankin Bass, Nepenthe, Blue Sky): 4
Live Action: 10
I'm just guessing really...I can't remember what I have and what I don't without my collection in front of me.

It's not like I'm making copies and selling them around the internet. Probably half the fans of Disney has an illegal copy of the movie.memnv wrote:I would not be advertising this if I was youEscapay wrote:It's in the sig, but for a breakdown of Disney:

But if it bothers you that much, I'll remove it.

Wow, look out the world just stopped..........I am going to defend Escapay.
You don't have to remove "Song of the South" from your list.......there is nothing wrong with having a copy of it. I have one, and I bought it off of eBay, and then I also have the Japanese Laser Disc version which was legally issued in this country.
For my collection, just click on the siggy and you can get to DVD Spot and see my list. I don't have them sorted in Disney, Spielberg, Hitchcock, etc. I just have them listed A to Z.
Anytime you record a movie off of television for yourself, that is considered bootlegging. So it is all in the eyes of the beholder.

Still gonna keep it snipped, though, simply because I don't wanna have to edit two posts, lol.

"Song of the South" on Laser Disc was available from Japan for a number of years and imported here legally.
The copy of "Song of the South" I have is part of a collection I bought years ago from eBay and is from Taiwan.
Listing what movies you have is of no harm or interest to anyone. It is like listing all the bootleg records or CDs you own. No one really cares. But that is just my opinion.

However, how many of those that you think do indeed own an illegal copy will keep it if Disney does indeed release an edition on DVD? If they love it that much to check it out, most will go and buy the official version, if there ever is one. You can't blame them for wanting the film, but yet Disney failed to deliver, so they'll get it one way or another.memnv wrote:Purchasing a Bootleg DVD is Illegal, And Song of the South has not been on tv for years, So it is proably an illegal copy, So unless your trying to get him in trouble with the law, If they come to the site and look at the posts"Which they Do" I would not post any bootleg DVDS
For the record, I do not have a bootleg dvd of SOTS; I'll wait for the official release, and hope it comes.

half of most disney owners own song of the south dvd (I don't). I wouldn't think police are going to arrest every single person that have bootlegsmemnv wrote:I would not be advertising this if I was youEscapay wrote:It's in the sig, but for a breakdown of Disney:

Since i last posted, i've gone up to 98! which is cool. As for Song of the South, i've never been bothered about it, and i probably wouldn't buy it if it did eventually come out in UK, just not my kinda' thing.
I really want Fantasia though, but i have to wait till 2012
, thats crud.

I have 207 in all; but I'm counting series as 1 DVD and also Episode 3 and Batman Anthology because they're already paid. The first one waiting for me to pick up at the store and the second one on its way.
Just to establish some points. From those 207 DVDS: these are the series:
-The first 4 Seasons of Xena
- Season 2 till 6 of The Simpsons
- Gargoyles Season 1, of course
- Spawn (all 3 seasons)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Season 1 and 2)
-Thundercats, Season 1 as well of course
... anime series:
-Escaflowne (8 DVDS)
- Descendants from Darkness (4 DVDs)
- Devil Lady Collection (6 DVDS)
- Gokudo (6 DVDs)
- Night Waker (2 DVDS)
- Record of Lodoss War TV (4 DVDS)
- Rune Soldier (6 DVDS)
- Witch Hunter Robin (6 DVDS)
- Haunted Junction (2 DVDS)
(that's without counting the OVAS)
