It's interesting how the name isn't mentioned...I wonder when those discs were pressed, how long ago they thought that they weren't going to name it Rapunzel...Old Fish Tale wrote:Trailer caps! Click here! It isn't the same one...

I'm surprised nobody remembers the scene in Ratatouille when Linguini is shown visibly drunk from drinking wine with Skinner.Margos wrote:Yeah, it was. I just assumed that you meant that it was Disney who decided that good guys shouldn't drink alcohol. If they had been allowed to, maybe he would have taken a sip. I think they said as much in the commentary.
You're right, though. I don't think a Disney hero has gotten drunk in a while.
Wow, I totally forgot about that! I think it works (without the potential of complaint from soccer moms) since it was a really underhanded, rotten way for Skinner to try to trick Linguini.estefan wrote:I'm surprised nobody remembers the scene in Ratatouille when Linguini is shown visibly drunk from drinking wine with Skinner.Margos wrote:You're right, though. Hey Mike!lighthousemike wrote:A teaster trailer of this movie is included within the Princes and The Frog BD.
As i said on the PATF thread, i sent my preview to my friend's site - http://www.disneylicious.com/
check it out.
Yeah, the visual style is breahttaking. If anyone had told me that the first capture of the teaser trailer was a painting based on that pre-production artwork piece we have known for a while, I would have believed them without a doubt! It has a very painterly feel, in terms of lighting, color, composition and a sense of warmth that typical CGI animation lacks. It looks lush and lively instead of flat and plastic. I can't wait to see this teaser trailer in motion. And then the characters of course.singerguy04 wrote:The images from the teaser are gorgeous! I'm a little disappointed that it is just a teaser though, maybe I'm asking for to much but I feel like the teaser should have come sooner than this and we should be getting an actual trailer at this point. Then again, if the title dispute prevented them from releasing this teaser with a title, then it would have been impossible for them to actually release a official trailer.
I think this does prove one thing though. This film is going to look better than any other CGI film we've seen. Now all I hope is that the human characters look as good in motion as they did in that publicity pic we saw a little while ago.
