Poo. My best friend bailed out on me, so I didn't get to go to Target, and I doubt I'm going tomorrow, so I've gotta retract my last post that said I'd be getting DVDs...

Lazario says in his siggy:
As a 'left-wing bomb thrower" Lazario, why not offer solutions instead of criticism? Oh, that's right, Democrats don't have solutions, they can only complain and tell us what is wrong, nobody can offer solutions that are credible. That's why John Kerry lost, and that is why the Democrats will lose in the next election. No one has any constructive ideas on how to solve what they see are insurmountable problems. Look what they have offered for the border situation. Compromise, that's all they know, is compromise.
Sorry about the rant, I know that it doesn't belong here, but this person is a thorn in a lot of people's sides, and needs to be taken out.

Not only is this wrong and uncalled for, but these women are from working-class, they are all pretty well-to-do (because of George Bush) and the show is a comedy, not to be taken seriously, like your remarks."Desperate Housewives is a show about working-class women struggling to put food on the table after 4 years of George Bush"

You're absolutely right, that's why if you follow my tracks via Profile, you'll find my E-Mail. That's where you're best to send these sort of completely off-handed comments. Isn't that right, Luke?dvdjunkie wrote:I know that it doesn't belong here
I'm not planning to respond to your comment on this, except to say the reason why is because you are so completely ignorant, your comments are not worth thinking about.

Anyways, my best friend (who is NOT Winnie the Pooh, netty, lol) is taking me to Target tomorrow, but I can't remember if the Disney sale is still on. But I still need to pick up Narnia, so the weekend's not lost yet...

Went out to the shops today for the first time with my recovering girlfriend (you know, going out with me takes its toll
) and had a little spending spree. Mind you, it was all on sale so I didn't spend THAT much.
DVD wise, I got:

- Deadwood: Season 2

I found this in the infamous Bargain Bin @ Wal-mart. When I picked it up I instantly remembered watching this on tv when I was about 7. I really liked it. It's right in there with Goonies and Neverending Story- Ahhh the 80's!Escapay wrote:Good choice, though there's no "the" in the title.
