If there is a package film (MMM and MT) treasure, would there be a Global Good Neighbor film treasure (unedited Saludos Amigos/Three Caballeros laserdisc set + more) ?? The Global Good Neighbor set would probably sell better as a treasure then a regular release.

Now I would buy the Global Good Neighbor Treasure. Disney is probably NOT going to do so UNLESS they get their ******* act together.

Missing? Strictly speaking there is still a large number of shorts missing - but we'll get more in forthcoming Treasures.

This is merely qualified guesswork and speculation as to how the remaining classic shorts should and will be organized (in the Treasures).

The second list will not be completed, just selected shorts. Most of the stuff is too boring, dry or dated. Does anyone really want to watch an early 80s educational special on computers? The wonders of the punch card. I dont think so.

I imagine we will see all of the first list with the exception of the Mouseworks/House of Mouse shorts though.

Wow what great lists Mr. Toad. Thanks sooooooooooooooooo much for doing them. I wouldn't really want any from the second list, but all from the first list I would die to have. As for the House of Mouse and Mickey Mouseworks shorts- I think they'll turn up on some season set in the future. Thanks again.

I think we'll very likely get the following Treasures:

Pluto vol 2
Silly Symphonies vol 2
Donald Duck vols 3 & 4
...and possibly a Rarities vol 2 or other "this and that" volume.

These are going to cover quite a lot of the listed titles.

The rest is open for speculation for the time being.

I think that's where we are at this point.

it was a Timon & Pumbaa cartoon called "Stand By Me" and was based on the song of the same title...except nobody wants to stand near Pumbaa because he keeps farting...it played in theatres before "Tom & Huck"...it came out the year before the Timon & Pumbaa cartoon...very funny cartoon, that was undoubtedly inspired by the popularity of cartoons like Ren & Stimpy and Beavis & Butthead...

Billy - technically both the Casey's are shorts. Casey at the Bat was released as a theatrical short after its first appearance in the package feature.

That's not the point. I thought droopyman ment Casey Bats Again was FROM one of those films, although he might have referred to it being a bonus feature on the DVD (of Melody Time). Sorry.

I'm bumping this topic to ask a question on the Treasures. Do you guys think Disney will re-release the older Treasure sets? I've missed the earlier ones and they only way to get them now is to pay an arm and leg for them so I am hoping Disney will do like they do with their movies and re-release them after a time.

I don't think disney will rerelease the treasures. Disney has never announced such a plan. The thing is with the treasures is that you have to buy them within a few weeks/months of the release date or else its gonna go out of print. But Disney's plan makes collecting treasures really fun and exciting.
