There is none. I went this morning and the manager wouldn't let me buy it without pre-ordering the movie. So, she said i would pay the $7.50 and would just take the iron pack home.
This is what the small print reads:
(the 7.50 deposit is toward the purchase of b&tb blu-ray combo pack.....Deposit certificate is not redeemable past the expiration date. If NOT redeemed by 10/29/10, the reciept may be refunded at Customer Service.)
so in other words no word of re-stocking fee. Just don't go back to the store & If i was you i would go asap, they are selling fast. hth
I pre-ordered with Best Buy and got the ironcase. I was thinking the ironcase would be something that would go around the regular retail case, not something you'd transfer discs into. I like it, though. I am assuming that you still get the regular case when you pick up your copy when it comes in. I thought about the TRU thing, but I don't actually have a Blu-Ray player yet, so the 10 bucks off another Blu-Ray didn't really appeal to me. I printed off the $10 upgrade coupon, so I'll at least get that off. I never did get the first DVD release, but had the VHS. I'm guessing Best Buy's first week sale price will probably be cheaper than TRU's.

Hopefully we get lucky. Last year I got Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs for 9.99 with coupon. Walmart is not a really good place to go buy new release movies. I bought Princess and the Frog and UP for 19.99 with coupon. It stinks not having TRU, Best Buy, & Target around I have to drive about 20 minutes to go to these stores.
totally. I just asked about a fee, because I preordered Kingdom Hearts at gamestop, and they told me I'd have to pick it up within 24 hours or be charged a $5.00 restocking fee.

I doubt it. Especially since the BD is still two months away.
Anyway, what's this Sing Along thing? The whole film with lyrics on the screen??

It's still possible, I think, though, especially if Disney just issued this print. Also, the screening is scheduled Sept. 26th.
And presumably it's the whole film with lyrics on the screen (they're also showing The Sound of Music which I'm psyched about!)
I got my Iron Pack yesterday!
It's very lovely! They are also selling like hot cakes!
I went back today because I bought Camp Rock 2 at Toys R Us because I pre-ordered Toy Story 3 and I walked to Best Buy, since they are in the same shopping center lol. I saw that there are only 5 left!
Yesterday there were about 10 on the shelf. Glad I got mine!
And I had to pay the full $7.50. Could not get it for $5.00 as someone mentioned it before. On my receipt it didn't have a break down like that.
OH well, I don't mind!
Soooooo, I got bored and decided to open Paint Shop Pro and create a fake Criterion Collection DVD cover for the movie. I'm actually quite happy with it, except I hate the font I used for the date on the side. ><
Could somebody please link me to a post where the extras/ features on the DVD and the Diamond Blu Ray are compared? I'm having a hard time looking through the thread. I'm probably going to just hold onto my Platinum Edition until (if) I ever upgrade to Blu Ray. What say everyone about the new DVD though? Is it worth the (DVD version) upgrade or no, sort of like Snow White 2-Disc last year?

If the colors are improved compared to the Platinum Edition you may want to consider the new DVD.
Does that collection contain the Diamond version of Beauty and the Beast? If so, I wonder if The Enchanted Christmas has been worked on at all (I know it's digital)?
I also wonder if the sequels are going to be re-released in the US. I have both The Enchanted Christmas and Belle's Magical World on VHS tape, but I haven't seen THC yet, I'm saving it for closer to Christmas. lol
