The jacket on top is what's throwing me off the most.

Does anybody ever have any issues with Best Buy or Target not accepting the coupons? I'm not sure if I should pre-order or just wait until the release date to see what deals stores might have.

Best Buy - I have heard of many complaints because they don't allow you to price match AND use a coupon
Target - There has never been a problem for anyone

Toys R Us - I think you should pre-order. You save $5 by just giving them the card...and the deposit (which you don't ever actually pay) saves you another $5 when you pick up BATB. And, I have never had any troubles from them to use a coupon as well!

Selfesteem issues

Why? Because she isn't a anirexic size 0 and she doesn't look like a walking stick and she doesn't do drugs?! Hmmmm!
Just because you have self esteem issues doesn't mean you have the right to offend skinny people by calling them anorexic and what not. She never said anything about her weight. That was all you. Anyway i was thinking the samething as her, very thick girl, ugly dress, ugly face, but nice voice. Total Beast! Though the Beast is better looking. :)

Ummm... I'm pretty sure he was referring to the hideous (furry? feather?) dress.
Obviously yes. I never said anything about her weight. She looks pretty healthy to me. Heck, I like her. She has a decent voice and she doesn't whore herself all over the music industry like other R&B singers.. *cough*Rihanna*cough*

But obviously that hideous furry dress needs to go.

PROS:
*Looks like a bit more effort was put into this than the usual DVD music video; for example, they appear to be actually on location as opposed to being stuck in a pokey studio made to look like a forest or a rooftop under a starlit sky.
*Jordin Sparks, bless her, actually has a decent enough set of windpipes, and isn't either a Grade A slut or a ridiculously squeaky-clean madam like most Disney Channel stars.

CONS:
*This rendition will probably still be rather poorly produced and arranged, distorting both the beauty of the actual song and of poor Jordin's voice.
*Bad dresses.

I agree. I'm really curious as to where this was filmed because the locations look gorgeous!

Uhhhhh, first of all you don’t know me to be passing judgment on me number one and my self-esteem is very high for your information! Second of all I wasn't calling "ALL" skinny people anorexic, I was obviously talking about the "Hollywood" scene!
And anyway, no one was even talking to you, so ummm, mind your business lol.

Moving on...

@ PatrickvD, my mistake, I thought you were saying she was as fat as the beast lol. The way you worded it came off wrong until I looked at the picture again and noticed the ugly dress.
It looks like she had a pillow fight before the shot and all the feathers got stuck on her dress!

I am not sure but I am thinking that I will use my $10 Coupon (that I get for having the Platinum Edition of Beauty and the Beast) for the Blu-ray Packaging and also order the Beauty and The Beast Book Collector's Set that looks like it has the Dvd Packaging.

. I don't need to know you in order to know you have self esteem issues. That comment gives it away. And grow up :)

@ Lorddh

And how petty of you to sit their and judge someone who you don't even know! Guess the class bully lives on! SO yeah.... GROW UP! ;) :D

You only joined August, 23rd 2010, I been here since the site first started in 2003, we do not attack board members on here.

My question to PatrickvD had NOTHING to do with you! I never attacked him nor did I call him any names nor did I say he was wrong in his post.

So where do you get off attacking me calling me names and telling me to grow up?!?! :? Am I missing something here?!?!?!
I'd like to know who died and made you "QUEEN?" :?

@ Matt: still arguing? If you don't know why I keep telling you to grow up, then go and reread your posts. I'm not attacking you, you're actually the rude one. I simply said that just because you have some resentment with "walking sticks" doesn't mean you go and say such comments. And I'm not being noisy, since this is a public thread. So stop being so rude and thick headed. Now I'm done with you and this. One of us has to be the mature one and end this, and I see it won't be you. Bye :)

Once AGAIN, my comment wasn't TOWARDS "YOU" nor was it aimed at ANYONE for that matter! I was referring to the "HOLLYWOOD SCENE"

Were you not rude and judgmental in that statement above?

And YES, you are attacking me just because you didn't like my "COMMENT"
I am far from "RUDE" nor "THICK HEADED" on this forum. Everyone that knows me on here can let you know as well. I am very kind, caring, good hearted, and a friendly person. So get to know "SOMEONE" (doesn't have to be me, in general) before you judge them.
I am DONE!

Have a great night! :)

Please stop the bickering. A comment was misinterpreted and that's it. There is no reason to read any further into it, judge the state of mind of those questioning it, or throw around insults at fellow forum members (and yeah, tame as it may be, "Grow up" is insulting).

Public figures and the entertainment industry, however, are still fair game. So go wild. Just don't attack one another here. Thanks.

There is something that I am curious about. On the Diamond Edition Blu-ray and Dvd that is coming out it say is will have the original theatrical release. Now is this going to be the theatrical version that is just like how you saw it at the theater in 1992 or will this be the theatrical version that was on the Platinum Edition?

More likely the theatrical version unique to this edition.

Thank you Luke! :D :thumb:

moving on...

The music video does look like it is going to be really nice. It does not look cheap like Disney's past remake music videos lol. I am sure they are going to throw in clips from the movie in the video as well. 8)

We are only 1 month until the release! :D
I am SOOO siked to get my favorite Disney animated movie of all time on Blu-ray! I am sure it is going to look great! :)

I believe the photo gallery on the official website will be the transfer (PRAYING LOL) :)

Also next week I will have the book "Tale As Old As Time: the making of Disney's Beauty and the Beast" in my hand! :pink: :float:

So Happy!

I would just like to say (not directed to anyone) that I personally find Jordin Sparks to be very beautiful. That includes the face. :)

But, yes, the dress is ugly.
singerguy04 wrote:That and Jordin Sparks is an actual recording artist.

I actually don't mind Tiffany Thorton's voice, but it's nice that this isn't the normal Disney Channel star.
AladdinFan wrote:It's good that Disney got a real singer to sing a classic song.
My thoughts exactly. I'm not Sparks' biggest fan or anything, but I definitely like her (as a singer and, from what I've seen, as a person).
Lorddh wrote:Plus, PATF is not one of Disney's best, and i personally think Disney shouldn't of destroyed such a wonderful story and make a more fitting story for the black princess.
You haven't seen 70% of their films, have you? They've never been exactly faithful, and they've always manipulated stories for their own purposes (be they thematic or commercial).

Anyway, I'm actually very tempted to buy this. For one, I'm finally getting a PS3 this Christmas, and can finally watch Blu-Rays. B&tB is not exactly my no. 1 favorite, but the features almost look worth it. And hopefully I won't have to re-buy these films again after I get them on Blu-Ray. :P

So, there is a $10 coupon? And the Blu-Ray will probably be $30. So, the price should be...what a normal movie should cost. :(
