Sorry 2099net, I can't answer you question, but about the mermaid thing... I have seen Mickey Donald Goofy, but I don't think the other pics show anything... (JMO)

Also... supposedly Stitch is hidden under the log in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, but I didn't see him, when I watched the movie a few days back...
How can Stitch be in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs? I mean is that even possible?

That was a bonus feature on the Lilo and Stitch DVD where they added Stitch to various Disney movies.

In the famous waterfall sequence in "Brother Bear" you can see Nemo swimming upstream, jumping in and out of the water.

In Pixar's "Cars", in the crowd scene for the Piston Cup toward the end of the movie, there is a crowd scene and as the camera pans the crowd you can seel all the dark colored cars form Mickey Mouse ears.

Also in "Cars", in one of the opening sequences of racing, you can see a car that has a sticker of Mr. Incredible on the window.

Aside from "Peter Pan," Tinker Bell made a cameo in "The Black Cauldron" among her kin, the Fairy Folk.
Is this true?
Yep-

I mean, it's rumored to be her, and she's in a green dress, so it's to be assumed that it's Tinker Bell.

Heh, I'll have to check that out. It's been a while since I watched Finding Nemo.

I usually spot the other references, but I didn't catch the Mickey shape in Cars either. I don't own that one on video though (waiting for the Blu-Ray).

I'm watching Toy Story 2 right now and I just noticed at the part where Hamm is flipping through the channels on TV trying to find the Al's Toy Barn commercial, if you watch it in slow motion there are many clips from the Pixar short "Knick Knack". Check it out!

I also just noticed in Cars, toward the beginning when Lightning McQueen first gets on the road to California, he passes a telephone line with birds on it, and they are the birds from the Pixar short "For The Birds".

that's not even possible, since Snow White premiered in 1938, and Lilo and Stitch didn't open for over 60 years after that. Plus, Stitch wasn't Walt's creation, he was created by Chris something or other, who made him in college and pitched him to Disney.

Someone should make a website of all this... i've seen a site like this before but it didnt cover alot of the ones mentioned here. maybe i'll do it when i get back from camp in 3 weeks...

Hidden Mickeys

Post by Vermin Friends »

(I looked on the first 20 or so search pages, and found nothing. I'm not going to bother with the other 79 pages. lol If there is already a thread about Hidden Mickeys in Disney films, please feel free to close this one. Thank you... this is my first thread. )

Even more than I enjoy reading about, and trying to find hidden Mickeys in Disney parks, I LOVE trying to find them in Disney movies, both the animated and live-action. Does anyone else share this curiosity, or am I just strange and crazy...? lol I'd love it if you all could share some that you have found. :D

These threads are about all hidden images (Mickey, other characters, SFX/SEX, nekkid woman in Rescuers) in Disney films:
Hidden Disney Characters by wicked valmont, created April 30, 2003

Hidden things in Disney movies! by Todd_star, created January 25, 2004

Disney characters spotted in the wrong films by Dan05, created March 30, 2005

And this is specifically about Hidden Mickeys in theme parks:
Hidden Mickey Reports by Fidget1234, created March 25, 2006

Anyway, regarding the question at hand, I used to spend some of my days off walking the parks and trying to find hidden Mickeys without the benefit of the book that says where they all are. It's more fun when you're with a group of friends than by yourself (guests look at you funny if you're peering all over the place and stepping over them). I never really consciously search for them in Disney movies, though. Aside from a couple of the obvious ones (Cinderella, Little Mermaid), I otherwise don't bother looking.

I bought a book (well... my mom bought me a book) called The Little Big Book of Disney, which has facts and articles about both Disney films, as well as the parks. There's one page that mentions a few hidden Mickeys, some of them are not widely known...
The Three Caballeros (1945)
Mickey decorates a sand pail during a sequence with Pablo the Penguin. [an attached picture shows a bucket, with silhouettes of Mickey and Pluto, which form a pattern, decorating the bucket]

The Rescuers (1977)
Strategically hidden in a watch face, Mickey adorns the wall of the Rescue Aid Society's headquarters.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit? (1988)
Mickey shares an office with R. K. Maroon... as a figurine on the table.

Oliver & Company (1988)
Mickey hangs around with cat-napper Fagan's timekeepers (on his wrist). [attached is a picture of a traditional Mickey wristwatch, with his hands pointed to the 4 and the 9]

The Little Mermaid (1989)
Invited by King Triton himself, Mickey and his friends share orchestra seating during the mermaid concert. [attached is the well known still of Goofy, Donald, and Mickey watching the concert]

The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
Mickey makes Christmas Eve cozy for children who receive a bat doll and a bullet-riddled duck- as a pair of flannel pj's.

Toy Story (1995)
Not only does Mickey keep time for Andy in a big wristwatch clock, but he has special meaning for the Megadork rock star who sports a Mickey tattoo.

101 Dalmations (1996)
Mickey's always ready for mealtimes in Roger and Anita's home, where he hangs out on a shelf behind the kitchen table.

Jungle 2 Jungle (1997)
Michael Cromwell receives a Mickey Mouse birthday card, which he isplays on his desk in his office.

Fantasia/2000 (2000)
Not one to be left behind, Mickey takes Minnie's hand a joins the parade of animals boarding Noah's Ark. [attached is a picture of Mickey and Minnie holding hands in the back of the line, behind a pair of kangaroos]
Are there any more that some of you have found...? I know there's one hidden on the Ursula's contract for Ariel, and is seen as it pans down quickly... I also read that there's one hidden in the Sleeping Beauty on a table... I'm not sure, though.

Disney Character Cameo Appearances

Post by MadHatter »

Most of us know that Disney loves to put characters from one movie into another such as Sebastian is in Aladdin. Rex is in Monster’s Inc, Mrs. Potts is in Tarzan, Buzz Light-year and Mike Wazowski are in Finding Nemo, and my favorite that I noticed not too long ago is Nemo is in Monster’s Inc. Tell me if I’m missing any.

Well you're missing tons...

Just off the top of my head...

The Magic Carpet, Belle and Pumbaa are in The Hunchback Of Notre Dame

Bambi's Mother is in Beauty And The Beauty and The Sword And The Stone and she is reanimated as an Antelope in The Lion King

Scar is in Hercules

Goofy, Donald and Mickey are in The Little Mermaid

Lady, Peg, The Scotty and The Bulldog (don't remember their names) are in 101 Dalmatians

The Beast, Sebastian and Pinocchio are in Aladdin

There are TONS that I am missing... but those are a few that I can think of off the top of my head !

Where exactly is Bambi's mother in any of those movies??? And reanimated as an antelope? All I saw in that movie was antelopes. Not white tailed deer that look like antelopes. I saw Kudu and Impala. But no antelope that looked like Bambi's mother.

And where was Lady in 101 Dalmations???

Oliver and Company: Roger from 101 Dalmatians, a picture of Ratigan (Georgette's room), Pongo, Jock, Peg and Trusty.

^ Lady appears during the Twilight Bark in the street just after you see Peg in the pet shop window. I think Tramp also appears, but it's been a while since I've watched the movie.

I just watched "Belle" from Beauty and the Beast, and as the "elderly women" sing "look there she goes, that girl is strange no question", there's a little red-head boy, dressed in green running around and chasing (and then being chased by) a pig. From the back, he looks almost exactly like Peter Pan...

Also, I could've sworn I saw Bambi's mother in Beauty and the Beast, as well... I can't remember. :(

I'm pretty sure she's in the prologue, as the camera zooms towards the castle by the waterfall, the deer is bambi's mother.

One of my favourite hidden mickeys in a movie is near the end of "Aladdin" - just slow down rajah's transformation back into a full-size tiger and go through it frame by frame, during the transformation, her face morphs into Mickey's!!!
