German poster.
I'm a huge fan of the US poster but I might even like this one better. It reminds me more of TFA with the coloring and I like how it includes both masked and unmasked Kylo as well as Hux, Pryde, the Knights of Ren, and the Sithtroopers. The US poster is seriously missing the First Order characters. Plus there is a Porg at the bottom left by the droids!

New Empire Magazine covers. Finally we get to see a little of Palpatine and Leia in the promotion! My absolute favorite is the first cover. It's a beautiful homage to the ROTJ poster but I love the addition of Kylo's lightsaber and how it's right behind Rey's, creating a beautiful effect.

Past Star Wars films have always had celebrity cameos (like Prince William and Prince Harry, Daniel Craig, etc. but they usually play Stormtroopers or something unrecognizable like that). The same should be true for the celebrities spotted in the video if Miranda actually is in the film or not. Some have speculated that it was just a visit.

BTW film has been confirmed to be 2 hours and 21 minutes. This makes it the third longest Star Wars film just behind The Last Jedi and Attack of the Clones. I'm hoping that credits are not included in that runtime though because that will keep the film from being even shorter.

And perhaps the most exciting news is that John Boyega confirms there is no romantic relationship between Rey and Finn. Daisy Ridley already said something along the lines of this earlier but John added that Finn is interested in someone else (Poe? Rose? Jannah?) while Rey is interested in someone else (obviously Kylo).

Aww, man. I ship FinnRey like I ship FedEx. I hope what he said was just misdirection because that would be horse**** if they teased us like that, given a couple of the hints we got so far at it.

Resistance Reborn, the tie-in prequel novel also indicates that Finn and Rey are just friends and that Rey's more interested in Kylo. Frankly the movie marketing alone pretty much confirms Reylo, not to mention all the interviews that JJ, Daisy, and Adam have given. JJ was the one who first compared Rey and Kylo's story in TFA to a fairy tale with Kylo as the dark prince and John Williams used music from Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet in the scene where Kylo is carrying Rey bridal style.

See, my problem with Reylo is that it comes off as toxic, especially with how Kylo Ren seems Like the kind of romantic partner who would literally twist your arm if he wanted to so he can get his way. Plus, he mindraped poor Rey in The Force Awakens when she was in captivity. Yeah, that’s quite “romantic.”
However, with Finn and Rey, they’re the first people in each other’s lives that have come to care about each other. They highly praise each other after escaping Jakku about how awesome they were, Finn offers Rey to run away with him when he tells her the truth of his past. He even came to Starkiller Base with the intent of finding and rescuing Rey after she had been captured. And she hugs him because he’s the first person in her life willing to come back for her.
Oh, yes. I forgot to mention I’m definitely not in favor of Reylo because they could be related by blood!!! They probably won’t be, but this is Star Wars, the same franchise that had Luke and Leia be brother and sister, even though they kissed on the lips in ESB. Either way, I wouldn’t put it past them to have Rey and Kylo related.
In all seriousness, the reason I’m all “DO NOT WANT!!!!” about Reylo is because Kylo Ren comes off as literally every negative quality about an abusive/toxic romantic partner in one package and the idea of him and Rey hooking up would send the message that toxic relationships are “normal”.
Some people have that criticism but Daisy Ridley said those elements will be addressed in this film. Mindrape is a huge exaggeration imo especially because we've seen how Kylo and the First Order treat prisoners they are interrogating at the beginning of TFA with Poe. Rey's experience is completely different as she is physically unharmed unlike Poe. Kylo attempts to read her mind to find out about the map's location which could be equated with telepathy which means that pretty much all the mutant telepaths from the X-Men, like Professor X, Jean Grey, Psylocke, etc. would then be classified as mind-rapists by your reasoning. That's never the case though but in an actual X-Men comic, where one evil character switches bodies with Storm against her will, Storm basically equates the theft of her body as akin to rape. She does not say the same about being psychically attacked, an experience that also occurred.
And you're also ignoring all the development between Rey and Kylo from TLJ. Rey herself trusts Kylo enough to come to him and even after the events of the film, in Resistance Reborn, we see that she still has an affinity with Ben. She views Kylo and Ben as separate entities though, much like how Anakin and Darth Vader were considered two separate people.
No one is discounting Finn and Rey's relationship but all of those things can still be platonic without being romantic. For example, at the end of TLJ, Rey looks at Finn and Rose and sees him tenderly caring for her, but Rey doesn't seem jealous. What is true though is that Rey herself feels isolated from the Resistance because of her abilities and like she doesn't quite fit in. Daisy has said this in numerous interviews and JJ has said this too, and it's evident from the films and Resistance Reborn. Rey feels like an outsider unlike Finn and Poe who have found a home with the Resistance. Rey's one outlet is Kylo because he's the only one who can understand her and vice-versa hence their connection in TLJ. Daisy has said that this will continue in TROS where Rey feels at odds with the rest of the core cast, including her best buddy Finn, because this is a part of her that he can never understand. All the Daisy and Adam interviews have reiterated that the film's central focus will be on Rey and Kylo's force bond and how only these two can understand each other (hence the remark in the trailer as well) and this is something Palpatine plans to take advantage of. If you've read the leaks, this becomes even more clear.
It's not really that different from Luke in ROTJ who begins to distance himself from the Rebellion and pretty much can only reach out to Leia. The original ending for ROTJ was supposed to have Luke end up all alone and away from his friends which in a way is what happened in the canon material after the Empire fell, because Luke basically went off on his own, to the point that he was considered a myth by the galaxy as he had no contact with the New Republic. A lot of people are speculating that this will be a similar fate for Rey, although she may not be alone if Ben is by her side.
Rey and Ben being siblings/cousins is definitely not going to happen now. If she was Leia and Han's daughter, there would have been some mention of them having another child after Ben but all they ever talk about is Ben in TFA. It would be kinda crummy of them to flat out ignore the fact that with all the highs and lows in their relationship, a secret daughter stolen from them wouldn't even register and all they could talk about was poor Ben. And Luke as a Jedi is celibate, something that was planned as far back as when George Lucas was involved so he wouldn't have any children. Rey's parentage reveal in TLJ was supposed to define her as NOT a Skywalker which this film won't backtrack on. The leaks clarify this even more but I won't spoil anything beyond the fact that it's highly unlikely that Rey will be blood related. Luke and Leia only kissed because making Leia the sister of Luke was a last minute plan for ROTJ. Daisy Ridley and JJ themselves have said that Rey's origin and heritage has been planned as far back as TFA and the plan never changed, not even when Rian Johnson came onboard for TLJ.

I’m sorry for being narrow-minded about it. But keep in mind that after the Throne Room battle in TLJ, Kylo wanted Rey to join him in ruling the galaxy, but Rey refused because she thought he had changed his ways after offing Snoke and fighting the guards alongside her and he literally told her the only way to become who she was meant to be was destroying any connection to the past, which I think would translate to killing all your connections or something like that.
I don't think you're narrow-minded at all. Rey was under the impression that Kylo would turn light just as Kylo was under the impression that Rey would turn dark. Interestingly enough, from everything we've seen of TROS so far, it looks like both characters' visions might yet come true with Rey turning Dark and Kylo turning light.
Rey herself doesn't really have much of a past to connect to which is why Kylo tells her about her parents and what they did to her. She already knows this, but he's reminding her that she doesn't have anywhere else to go. Kylo himself has burnt his bridges and thinks its too late to return to the light side, and probably doesn't see the point either since he now rules everything. In his eyes, he and Rey can do way more good for the galaxy than the Resistance since for him, the Resistance is led by the people who failed him most, his family.

Here's another nostalgic featurette about the legacy of Star Wars. The ending features minor spoilers for TROS that should really satisfy Return of the Jedi fans. Wicket the Ewok is back! That means this film will feature both Porgs and Ewoks!
