Frozen: Part V
Re: Frozen: Part V
The new trailer is incredible! It's epic and full of new footage. It looks as if it was made especially for the fans who complained about the past trailers, because it has all the elements they were asking for. It has more from the story, the drama and the music.
Thanks to Prince Kido for sharing it and to NeverLand for uploading it to Youtube. But, where did the trailer appeared? Was it released in the US or is it from another country?

Re: Frozen: Part V
... Am I the only one questioning Disney's apparent trend of rating all their latest CG films PG? I mean, Bolt, Tangled, Wreck-It Ralph and now Frozen. All rated PG.
And somehow, the only two recent Disney films not slapped with a PG are The Princess and the Frog and Winnie the Pooh (both of which were hand-drawn). Is it a rule or something of Disney's to rate their solo CG films PG now?
Not that I'm complaining about the whole rating thing, really. I'm just a little surprised that Disney's doing this lately.

Ok, first:
THAT'S THE DISNEY WE KNOW, WANT, AND LOVE. I love people are like, "HECK YEAH. THIS IS WHAT WE WANT." on YouTube & Tumblr after seeing this!
Second, FTFTIF sounds sooooooooooooooo gorgeous and Kristin and Idina sounds great. I wish we could hear Idina more in it. And the love duet is great so far. If it was only Santino instead
Third, looks like we got another song title!
The troll song or the Hans/Anna duet is rumored to be called Love Is An Open Door

In Australia Bolt is rated G. Sorry for any confusion.
Re: Frozen: Part V
Have no idea which small clips with Olaf and co. have already been posted, but that trailer includes two (in front and afterwards) that I haven't seen before:

Re: Frozen: Part V
See, this was the trailer that Disney should of released last month, not after all the controversy. They have 3 main trailers for Frozen all released at the wrong time. The Olaf teaser should of been on the WIR DVD. Last month's trailer should of been released last June & today's trailer should of been released last month. The fact that they reference The Lion King means that they are going all in with this film! The tumblur crowd, the damage is done, they're gonna complain no matter what. All WDAS can do no is market Frozen in it's TRUE nature.
Re: Frozen: Part V
The Tumblr crowd only bothers with fandoms they are obsessed with. All this attention to Disney hints they they are invested in Disney, having subscribed to Disney blogs. Damage isn't done, they'll see the film.
ps. Tumblr isn't influential outside of tumblr.

Of course they're gonna see the film, but they will still complain about things.Victurtle wrote:The Tumblr crowd only bothers with fandoms they are obsessed with. Re: Frozen: Part V
and here is a review of somebody complaining about the new trailer, especially with the Lion King tagline. Some people just can't be happy with this trailer. It's ironic given how much she complained about the other trailers.

Not agreeing with her but I don't think she has kept up with spoilers. So after the comedic trailers, this more drama oriented trailer may have came as a bit forced for her.frankf3 wrote:and here is a review of somebody complaining about the new trailer, especially with the Lion King tagline. Though if I'm not mistaken, Princess and the Frog compared itself to Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and even The Lion King, so...

Tumblr user Kris0ten says that Disney uses CGI for better marketing and stuff like that, she works for DreamWorks Animation, don't they use CGI for money too?

I wouldn't listen to that lady, she crazyWarm Regards wrote:Not agreeing with her but I don't think she has kept up with spoilers. Yeah, I'm not totally going to judge it until I fully hear it. FOR NOW, it's a mixed bag. I hope it's more upbeat and fun.TheBlibaBlob wrote:It's just a snippet, and quite bad quality, but hopefully it'll be good.disneyprincess11 wrote: Wow....I wasn't expecting it to be like that.![]()

Ah yes, Grace Randolph. She's been dissing Frozen & Disney Animation for months. Like I said in a previous post, people are still gonna complain no matter what Disney does to Frozen now.frankf3 wrote:and here is a review of somebody complaining about the new trailer, especially with the Lion King tagline. Re: Frozen: Part V
She's basing the whole not having any culture in the soundtrack on one song. She mentioned the Calypso beat in a couple of songs for Little Mermaid but I didn't hear that kind of beat in "Part of Your World."frankf3 wrote:and here is a review of somebody complaining about the new trailer, especially with the Lion King tagline. Re: Frozen: Part V
The differences between G and PG are so minimal and blurred now that I don't think anyone really cares. Half of the time the ratings don't make sense anyway. I bet a lot of the 90s Disney movies would have been PG by today's standards (Lion King and Hunchback in particular).
Loving all these song clips. Olaf's doesn't sound as exciting as the other three, but I didn't expect much from that anyway. It's supposed to be pure comedy/fun.
