I've added The Fox and the Hound to my Disney animated movie banners:

Very unfortunately my main source for Disney screencaps "Disney Magical Schreencaps" no longer exists (It was to be expected, as the site owner announced she/he would discontinue the site). I thought I could save the images by downloading the site with sitesucker, but alas! Now I will have to look elsewhere

I love all the banners you've posted, Sotiris, especially the princess one--just because I hadn't seen that stylistic artwork before. The Sailor Moon ones bring back memories. Mercury and Saturn were always my favorites.
Anyway, I finally got around to making another banner (been lazy), this time for The Great Mouse Detective.
If I were to re-work this in the future, I'd probably try to make the right side turn out a little better. It's probably hard to tell, but that one image is of Ratigan returning to his "rat" state in the clocktower. I have no idea why that end picture of Basil turned out somewhat blurry, but whatever.
Regardless, I used the blue/purple colors to give it the same dreary feeling I associate with a detective mystery. Plus, having Basil at both sides kind of book-ends it, since he is the central character who solves the mystery--visually, it's as if he's the one telling the story.
Ratigan and Basil are also similar characters--almost a Jekyll/Hyde kind of thing, except separated--because they are both intelligent, bordering on mad scientest-esque. The reddishness kind of brings out that madness flavor.
As for the avatar, I wanted to focus on how the movie was the beginning of the Dawson-Basil team, with the newspaper "Queen Honors Detective" in the background--their first case.
Anyway, I hope it's decent. I always have minor problems with all my banners, but I'm satisfied with how it turned out.
edit:
Updated a little.
I tried a different picture, but I like the original better, because it has a dark, mysterious feel. Still wanted to change the Basil picture though.

I was joking too, it seems to be a running gag around here lately.ajmrowland wrote:^haha, i knew about the PMs. I just said that jokingly.

I'll probably post it in my dA account sometime this weekend. I've also been thinking about posting it in my art thread here (censored version of course though, lol).ajmrowland wrote:Wouldnt mind seeing it, though.
