No, that's not entirely true, I wished it was true but that it was Reyquila instead.

Didn't you say this!!! That's was a wish!! Anyhow I don't need you to be happy or to have an enjoyable life!!! I'll disregard you. I invite you to do the same!!

Hahaha... Escapay you're awesome! I alwasys scan forums for your posts because they usually make me laugh after a hard day at work.

But getting back to the point, come on guys, you're letting invisible posters on a forum get you so worked up that you have to start a cyber argument? I'm pretty sure we all have bigger things to worry about in life.

Although we don't need daily updates on people's DVD collections. Posting pictures/lists once a month should suffice.

I have 42 Disney DVD's including these new ones:

Gargoyles Seasons 1 and 2 Volume 1
A Bugs Life: Collectors Edition
and High School Musical Remix

I love seeing everyones Disney stuff that isn't a DVD, since once you've seen one cover you've seen them all. Here's a short list of stuff I have for Disney

Stand 1

Shelf 1 - McDonalds 50th Anniversary Figures and Peek-a-Pooh's
Shelf 2 - Disney Royalty Characters - Prince/Princesses Kings/Queens
Shelf 3 - All of the other Disney Characters
Shelf 4 - Books

Stand 2

Pixar Characters
Pixar Movies
Holiday Movies for Disney
Disney Ghibli Films

Stand 3

Shelf 1 - Main Characters like Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy etc.
Shelf 2 - Disney Treasure(s)
Shelf 3 - T.v Shows for Disney
Shelf 4 - Live-Action Disney

Stand 4

Shelf 1 - Disney Villains
Shelf 2 - DACs
Shelf 3 - DTV's
Shelf 4 - Disney Board Games

Most of the toys are from McDonalds except a group that I have from my last trip to Disneyland. The Villains shelf is my fav. A bunch of characters are from the Disney version of Kinder Eggs, I'm still working on getting some more. I also have a few stuffies like Thumper, Dumbo and Simba on random shelves too. I'll post a full list of DVD's later when I have more time

Yes, I did post that. Although it wasn't a death wish. It was a wish that Reyquila would go away, nothing more. Somebody else posted the very same thing earlier in this thread.

But you know what, I got into trouble from Luke for posting that, and I apologised for it in that same threat.

Reyquila, meanwhile, has been posting abusive comments and lies about me - and unpleasant remarks about others, with nobody saying anything to him.

Well, they say when something stops being fun, you should stop doing it. So, he's managed to drive me away from this forum. I don't know whether it will be a permanent move, but I don't feel I can stay around here anymore.

Just so you know, this is instigating. You had no need to post it, and yet you did.
How can you say that you aren't starting problems when this clearly shows you starting (yet another) problem?

And you need to apologize to deetoo :( . No one deserves to be run out of a great forum like this :) . Be the "bigger person" you were bragging about.

He posted a death wish against me. If he apoligize first, I'm willing to stand down and apologize!! This a closed case for me. I won't respond to any posts regarding this issue.

To repeat what CJ said, since this thread doesn't seem to exist as anything more significant than a ground for reyquila to get attacked by others and return the attacks himself, I think we may have to close it.

I don't know how many times it has to be said. No personal attacks against your fellow forum members.

This bickering has been going on for what seems like forever and it always goes like this:
Forum member: "reyquila has a lot of DVDs, probably more than he needs."
reyquila: "You only say that because you are jealous."
Forum member: "No, I'm not jealous."
reyquila: "Yes, you are."
And on and on and on and on....

Does it ever get anywhere? No. Does the blame always lie directly with one person? No, usually it's back-and-forth and the person who starts dishing it out is sure to get some back in return.

There's hardly any new pictures being posted for that matter. It's just this same argument with stubborn members not being able to agree to disagree. I'm going to give this thread one final chance to exist in a positive matter. If it doesn't, then not only will it be closed but so will any new threads of this nature for. Is it worth it to reiterate the same old argument? Or might it be better to just let the argument rest and avoid repeating it?

He never posted a "death" wish, he said the comment on a thread where escapay stated he was leaving, not dead

Thank goodness :D

Ok, guys, everyone should calm down, and post (if possible) pictures of their collections, and stop cyber fighting!!
I posted a pic of my collection, but everthing you all did was complaining about reyquila, so even if someone does post pics nobody's interested in them, because everye just keeps arguing. And I think some are kind of afraid of showing their collection, since they feel it's too small, or that people might laugh at them. But I like to look at other people's collections no matter how big or small they are. My DisneyDVD collection is very small, but still I posted it, because I thought people might like to look at it as much as I like to look at theirs.
So let's just post pics of our collections, admire them, and let this thread become again what it was intended to be, a place of showing what we are proud of, what we like, no matter how big, how small or how much it cost.
We're all grown up, so we should be able to communicate with each other in a friendly and polite way.

Please don't lock the thread, and allow it to remain open.

After some consideration, I've decided not to leave the forum. I've gone into more detail about my frame of mind this morning and reasons for changing my mind on the off topic forum. Suffice to say I was having problems with something else this morning, and the latest turn had really got me down.

Personally, I love to see items in other people's collections. I couldn't care less about what DVD's people have, but it's interesting to see how they organise and display their collections, and particularly interesting to see what merchandise people have collected over the years. The merchandise side has probably grown bigger than the DVD side for me in the last year or so.

I think it's rather pointless to update this thread with every single new item you acquire. I tend to update my pictures if I've got something substantial, like my recent trip to Disneyland, or if I've got a new Armani.

And I certainly don't think people should be made to feel inadequate because they only have a small collection. Every collection has to start somewhere, and as long as you get pleasure from it - that's all that matters. My advice to people is to buy what you enjoy. Don't fall into the trap of feeling you have to be a completist and buy everything.

Personally, I tend to concentrate mainly on the Princesses with merchandise - and particularly on Belle and Ariel, as BATB and TLM are my favourite Disney movies.

I'd just once again like to apologise wholeheartedly for my part in the unpleasantness that occurred here. I hope this thread can continue, and people can post sensibly and get it back on track to what it's supposed to be.

That poster is pretty cool Little Merboy, I just found out we have a really cool old collectors plate for Beauty and The Beast. I'll see if I can find it and post a picture of it soon.

I forgot to post these:

My kids really love to hear The Splsh Mountain Music and The Haunted Mansion sounds. I bought this one discounted at Cosco the same day I bought Cinderella Collector's Edition Gift Pack.

Also this tins. My wife bought the kids Disney pijamas at Costco and they came in these tins. Inmediately I found an use for them and I keep my slipcovers inside them.

I love that Little Mermaid poster. It's so simple, yet so classy.

I really wish there were more movie poster reproductions available for the Disney Classics. They are very hard to find. They have quite a few at Disneyland Paris, but the titles are all in French.

I have quite a few Princess posters, but very few actual movie poster images.

When you can find them, they tend to be originals, which are very expensive, and I'm a bit loathe to pay out that much for a poster.
