it's not an april fools joke since i don't participate in such nonsince. and i found this at wikipedia but i did say i hoped it won't be the real list. pretty much this list is what people want to see on the next one just like how people wanted the Baha Men on DM5 along with Jump5.

Correction- they're actually really good friends now. They probably wouldn't collaborate together, but it's not like they hate each other anymore, they're totally friends now. They've grown up since their younger years. Check this site for a picture of them together- http://www.hilaryduff.com.au/forum/view ... 61&start=0 It's like the seventh post down.

okay this is getting rediculous. Wikipedia has pages for DisneyMania all the way up to volume 9 and have a rumored track list for all but 9. and they're saying that there won't be anymore after 10 which is rumored to be the greatest hits album. enough with all of this rumoring wikipedia.
if you're wondering what tracks are rumored i'll show you.
DisneyMania 6
1. Go the Distance {From Hercules} - Jesse McCartney
2. Colors of the Wind {From Pocahontas} - Hilary Duff
3. Cruella De Vil {From 101 Dalmations} - Gwen Stefani
4. Once Upon Another Dream {From Sleeping Beauty} - Ashley Tisdale
5. He's a Tramp {From Lady and the Tramp} - Vanessa Hudgens
6. Part of Your World {From The Little Mermaid} - Hayden Pennateare
7. Let's Get Together {From The Parent Trap} - Raven-Symoné
8. Strangers Like Me {From Tarzan} - Disney Channel Circle of Stars
9. It's a Small World {From Disneyland's It's A Small World} - Lucas Grabeel
10. A Whole New World {From Aladdin} - Anneliese van der Pol featuring Orlando Brown
11. You'll Be In My Heart {From Tarzan} - Monique Coleman
12. Can You Feel The Love [From The Lion King} - Aly and A.J.
13. Proud of Your Boy {From Aladdin} - Everlife

DisneyMania 8
Under the Sea- Miley Cyrus
Cruella De Vil- Hilary Duff

Strangers Like Me- High School Musical Cast
If I Never Knew You- Venessa Hudgens
The Second Star to the Right- Corbin Bleu
Part of Your World- Ashley Tisdale
It's A Small World- Zac Efron
Lets Get Together- Lucas Grabiel

Anytime You Need A Friend- Fergie
Go the Distance- The Black Eyed Peas
The Siamese Cat Song- Avril Lavinge

i don't believe a word of this rubbish since it's all the same songs from the previous ones and people you would never imagine like Fergie.

 Oh, those Wikipedia idiots.

First of all, if they wanted to be believable, they could spell the names right. Also, why would Gwen Stefani, Black-Eyed Peas, Avril, or even Hilary ever do a DisneyMania song? They're much too huge nowadays.
They also have Everlife, a girl group, singing "Proud of Your Boy," a song for a boy singing to his mother.

Oh, and Zac Efron can't sing. Drew Seeley is actually the wonder that is Troy Bolton. :P

Please tell me you don't believe this...
:pan: Love It.

i was at the rennaseice(sp?) faire today and heard someone that would be perfect for this. the guy is called Cast In Bronze and he uses a carillon and it would sound perfect for a version of a Fantasia song or Hunchback since the instrument is just a bunch of bells.

It's getting closer to the time we should be hearing official information on the next volume of Disneymania. I did some googling and found a rumored track list only to find this rumored track list from a year ago. I guess it's not true since it's already been almost a year old! Besides, when I first read the rumored track list on this blog (dated October 13. 2007):
http://disneysdudesentertainment.blogsp ... nia-6.html
(the only difference is that Vanessa Hudgens may be singing "Good Company" from Oliver and Company and Hillary Duff may be singing "Just Around the Riverbend")

The rumored list is clearly mostly idealistic since Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera are credited with Beauty and the Beast. Considering their history with Disney and Disneymania 1, it's possible they could be coming back, but they haven't had a huge name star since Disneymania 1. Though now that I think about it, with Miley Cyrus's recent boom in the pop music industry, bigger name music artists could probably be looking to be on the same album as her.

The blog also posted possible cover art. It looks really real, but could also be a clever fake. It momcks the layout of Disney Channel Holiday

So has anyone heard any official information yet? It's not even posted on Amazon yet...

That cover is really not offical, along with the tracklist, except put Selena Gomez for Cruella De Vill and Emily O./Mitchel Musso If I didn't have you this has been confirmed by this site

I did read somewhere that the Disney Channel Circle of Stars is doing "Strangers Like Me" and Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez would sing the most.

I was kinda hoping that the track list wasn't real, because I'm tired of people doing the same songs that were on another DisneyMania cd. I'm mean, I know it's in a different style of course, but it's still the same song. (That's probably one reason why I haven't brought any recently.) In my opinion, I think after the first two, DisneyMania started to lose it's originality.

Probably the two most recent ones I listened to that I liked was Ashley Tisdale's "Kiss the Girl" and Lalaine's "Cruella De Vil." (I did kinda like Miley Cyrus' "Part of Your World" too, but not as much as the other two songs listed.)

I have the whole cd set, but the problem is that they're mostly doing the same disney songs, like kiss the girl, or rollercoaster ride all over again with different versions at the same time.

There are more disney songs out there, i wish they do those and stop singing the same songs.

I don't know how I missed this thread when you posted that. I was just going to post that video! I really hope that that song makes it on Disneymania 6!!! From the little bit that plays in that commercial, it sounds like Hilary did a great job!!!!!

So, we know that Emily Osment & Mitchel Musso are doing "If I Didn't Have You", and that Hilary's "Mickey Mouse Club March" will probably be on DM6...I can't wait to find out the real tracklisting!!!

1. Cruella De Vill-Selena Gomez

2. If I didn't have you- Emily/Mitchell

3. Mickey Mouse Club-Hillary Duff (possible)

those are *sneak Peaks* of DM 6

Chris Brown and Rihanna are on the list of many other big artists to be included on the upcoming Princess DisneyMania compilation CD, all recording classic Disney Princess songs. It is the first volume in the Princess DisneyMania series and will be released on September 30, 2008. Here is a look at the track listing:

Demi Lovato - “Just Around The Riverbend” (Pocahontas)
Kaycee Stroh - “Beauty & The Beast” (Beauty and The Beast)
Beyoncé - “Part Of Your World” (The Little Mermaid)
The Pussycat Dolls - “I Won’t Say (I’m In Love)” (Hercules)
Katharine McPhee - “She’s In Love” (The Little Mermaid)
Taylor Swift - “Home” (Beauty and The Beast)
Hilary Duff - “My Strongest Suit” (Aida)
The Cheetah Girls - “Kiss The Girl” (The Little Mermaid)
Meaghan Jette Martin - “Someday My Prince Will Come” (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs)
Aly & AJ - “A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes” (Cinderella)
Ashley Tisdale - “With A Smile & A Song” (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs)
Alicia Keys - “Reflection” (Mulan)
Anna María Perez de Tagle - “True Love’s Kiss” (Enchanted)
Chris Brown & Rihanna - “A Whole New World” (Aladdin)
Carrie Underwood - “So This Is Love” (Cinderella)

I read a while ago that there would be a Princess DisneyMania, but I would take this track listing with a huge grain of salt. I don't think that Pussycat Dolls would be on a Disney album, and Beyonce is a stretch, too. We'll see.

Thanks for the update, Amy! I got really excited, but then I read the list and I really think that most of this is fake. Even if Katherine McPhee's on this new Princess Disneymania (just when you thought the Disney Princesses ran out of merchandising possibilities), I doubt she's singing "She's In Love" by herself. This song is basically a duet between Ariel's sisters and Flounder and the only way I can see it working is if they delete Flounder's lyrics all together. That takes away the purpose and message of the song of one of my favorites of the new TLM songs.

Though the Disney Channel stars tracks look like definite possibilities. Demi Lovato's "That's How You Know" is starting to grow on me (very slowly), but I wouldn't mind hearing "Just Around the Riverbend" in her style.

I like how Kaycee Stroh sang a Disney Broadway/Theatrical song and it would be great if more artists looked to those soundtracks for their song. I feel like a lot of the songs are repeated because the artists just don't know about the lesser known Disney songs in their library.

I haven't got the recent Disneymania yet (I plan to wait for Christmas or something), but the songs from the Princess Disneymania seem a bit more interesting--except for the ones that've been done to death already. Such as the inclusion of Broadway and the rarer, overlooked songs like "With A Smile and A Song" or "Just Around the Riverbend." I agree that it looks questionable though.

I wonder why this series hasn't included more deleted songs in the same vein as Clay Aiken's "Proud of Your Boy?" I suppose they're not that dedicated.

Wikipedia has a somewhat different track listing, which makes a lot more sense:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Princess_DisneyMania

Emily Osment - "Once Upon a Dream" (Sleeping Beauty)
Demi Lovato - "That's How You Know" (Enchanted)
Ashley Tisdale - "Someday My Prince Will Come" (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs)
Vanessa Hudgens - "Colors of the Wind" (Pocahontas)
Christina Aguilera - "Reflection" (Mulan)
The Cheetah Girls - "So This is Love" (Cinderella)
Colbie Cailat - "Kiss the Girl" (The Little Mermaid)
Kari Kimmel - "It's Not Just Make Believe"
Raven-Symoné - "Under the Sea" (The Little Mermaid)
Jordan Pruitt - "Ever Ever After" (Enchanted)
Keke Palmer - "True to Your Heart" (Mulan)
Amy Adams - "Happy Working Song" (Enchanted)
Sierra Boggess - "Part of Your World" (The Little Mermaid)
Disney Channel Stars - "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes" (Cinderella)

Just like how DisneyMania RemixMania reused songs, Priness Disneymania will be, too. That is, if Wikipedia is to be believed. We'll just have to wait for confirmation from Disney, I guess.
