Don't worry a whim about it Aladdin. You've certainly put a lot of time into your beautiful pictures, the very least we can do it wait for your computer to be fixed properly.

Paint Problems not a problem!

Post by Disney Duster »

Well, I thought you said that you couldn't make pictures in paint at all anymore, Aladdin from Agrabah, and that you won't get things fixed anytime soon. But the thing is, I'm fine with that, and I think everyone here is, too! I just want to talk to you on these forums! A fellow guy who's not afraid to like Disney princesses and other things I like, too! Please stay with us! You rock! :)

Thank you all guys, I really love you. You've been so understanding. I'm feeling better now and to show it to you, I'm preaparing a new "project" in this forum- that unfortunately has nothing to do with drawings though. So, Aladdin from Agrabah's Fanart is closed until I find a way to draw with Paint again. Till then...see you all in the forum!

Aladdin from Agrabah, I just discovered all of your beautiful fan art. Incredible! I have to say you are a genius. I'm a huge fan of Disney art and every year when I'm at Disney World, I spend an hour in the art galleries looking at all of the wonderful paintings. I have to say that your art is in a league with those artists that are paid by Disney. I seriously suggest that you submit some of your art. I would scan some of your drawings. Your university possibly has a scanner, so send them some hand drawn images, as well as your paint ones. You're artwork is also, I feel, on par or better than the artwork made for DVD covers. I love the Alice and Wendy tea party. Peter Pan is my favorite Disney movie and Alice in Wonderland is my second, so that was a real treat. It's incredible how faithful your artwork remains character model and background wise. I have Disney art in my room and I want you to know that I plan on taking your tea party picture to Walgreens and having it put on glossy photo paper, framed, and hung on my wall. I'm so sorry to hear about your computer. I have the paint program you use. I don't know how to duplicate files and send them over the internet, but if there is anyway that I can help you recover the program, let me know. You are amazing!!!!!

xxhplinkxx, I'm really glad!
Goofystitch, you made me blush! Thank you so much! I would really love to send them my artwork, if only I knew the exact adress! I'm really really really honoured that you will give the Alice and Wendy drawing such treatment and have it on your wall! As for the paint programm, I'm afraid we have to call a technician-again!-to see what he can do with it. Thank you for offering though, and once again, thank you for your kind words and support! I'm glad! :float:

How are you, Al from Ag?

Post by Disney Duster »

Yea, we all wish Aladdin from Agrabah was working for Disney. He'd make sure Ariel and Flounder were a bit more on-model in The Little Mermaid III. Although, like you said, Al from Ag, the animation did look nice. In fact, my only real problem with the musical sneak peek animation was that everyone moved too fast, like it was on fast-forward! Whoever's working on it needs to slow it down and be more cinematic. Also, the idea of discovering that Sebastian likes to sing at nightclubs just seemed very episodic, and not really having importance. But if it's supposed to be Ariel telling stories to Melody, then I can see why she'd put in funny anecdotes.

Okay, anyway the real reason why I'm posting is to see how you are, Al from Ag, and also ask how your drawing/painting is going. You know, I don't think anyone would mind if you drew pictures on paper, colored them, and then scanned them! I'd love to see your hand-drawn stuff!

Disney Duster, I have to admit that the fact that you care is really really touching and I'm overwhelmed! Unfortunately there is nothing I can do for my ruined Paint program yet, except be patient. As for the hand-drawn pictures, there are a lot I've got and that I would like to share with you but -don't laugh at me!- if I only had a scanner!! It seems that technology and me are not the best pals! I ruined it when I was 15, and, because noone from my family seemed to actually need it, we are "scannerless" for five years. Maybe I could use one of my friends' pc -and scanner- and send you some, I'll see what I can do about it!!
And I'm really flattered for what you said about me working for Disney- especially on an Ariel movie, cause Ariel, along with Aladdin, are my most favourite characters-and movies-of all time!! I wonder if they can accept some sample of one's artwork by mail...I would really love to send them some!
Again, thanks for asking, Disney Duster! I'm somehow better after doing a presentation for my other thread "Foreign Celebrities". I would love it if you cheked that one out too and tell me what you think! As for my artwork, I'm sure, within a little time I'll be able to draw again!

Surprise!!! My paint programm was fixed before three days, but I didn't tell you anything because I wanted the first of my two requests to be ready first.

I'm really really sorry you don't have a scanner Aladdin. :( To think that I have one but have hardly used it. Now it isn't even scanning well. It produces a yellow hue on every scan...

Do you think you can save up for one (a scanner)? I believe they are not very expensive anymore. :?

In the meantime, congratulations for that Peter Pan pic. I think I like Peter Pan best in it, though I've yet to decide. :)

By the way, Aladdin...remind me again: When you say that you use Paint, you mean the simplest program available; Microsoft Paint? I'm asking you because though I don't know if it's possible, maybe I can get you a Paints program of mine over the internet. It's called Presto Image Folio. I have the 2001 edition. It's developed by a software company called Newsoft. It's not that advanced, but I think it's better than Paint, or might offer you an interesting alternative.

The program came on the same CD containing the driver for my scanner. However, I don't know if it's possible to "extract" it from the CD and send it to you. :?

Aladdin from Agrabah's Artwork Appears Again!

Post by Disney Duster »

Oh, Al from Ag!!!! You kept this from us all this time! And WHAT A SURPRISE!!! It's beautiful! It's so gorgeous it's unbelievable! You've captured Peter, you really have. I also like the nice, subtle transparent effect in Tinker Bell's wings. Congratulations on getting you program back and doing another fantastic piece!

Oh, and I hope you weren't offended in the Foreign Celebrities thread. I later wrote that I didn't think it was bad to be engrossed in someone you like.

oh sweet!! I love your art Al you really should see if there is a better program out there for you to use, because paint is rather resrticting on what you can do with artwork on the computer.

Hi Aladdin! Your work is absolute genious!!! I can't belive how breathtaking they all are! :jawdrop: I was wondering, if you had any free time, if you could do a picture of Ariel, Belle, and Jasmine? As these are my absolute faveourite Princesses!!

If you could, it would be so appreciated by me and my friends!!

numba1lostboy, I'm glad you liked it!
Julian Carter, I think I can get a scanner easily, but the thing is, except from posting some hand-drawn pics of mine here I don't actually need it. I'll have to think about it. Yes, I'm using Microsoft Paint. It's really kind of you to offer and get me that Newsoft program, thank you.
Disney Duster, of course I was not offended and I saw your last post! It's just that I totally agreed with you and I just had nothing else to say, that's why I didn't reply again. And I'm really glad you liked my new drawing!
skyler888, I totally agree with you, it's really restricting. I'll see if I can get a better programm.
Lord-of-Sith and xxhplinkxx, I'm really flattered! Stay tuned, more artwork coming!
Atlanticaunderthesea, as soon as I finish my second request I'll start working on yours! Thanks for your kind words!

Two Questions for Aladdin from Agrabah

Post by Disney Duster »

Oh, okay Al from Ag, sometimes I just wonder if someone saw what I said. Sometimes I don't know if I should reply to a post if all I'm gonna say is, "I agree". I don't want to waste bandwith.

I have to questions:

Is your avatar an artwork of yours? I think I've seen it before, though, and to be honest it just doesn't look like your work, but maybe it's because it wasn't made in paint.

Do you mind me calling you Al from Ag? If you don't like that nickname, I could just call you Al or something.
