But where do you find it?
It's not on the official princess site, right?

And why do you think that it's not Lea Salonga doing the singing voice for Jasmine?
She lately is appearing in all the Disney Princess songs as Jasmine.
Someone on a Disney Princess LJ community said they received an e-mail from Disney with this trailer. It's not on the official site, yet, so I'm assuming this is some sort of link for only members of whatever Disney newsletter she receives. I expect Disney to post this on the official site probably around the time Peter Pan comes out since this trailer will probably show up there, too.

As for Lea, I know her singing voice well. Really well. A Whole New World and Reflection are two of my favorite Disney songs. The singing voice in that trailer was too low and breathy. Lea's voice is higher pitched and crisper. It's possible that it IS her and that she may no longer by able to reach the scale she could before, but I doubt that. The only other option I can think of if it is Lea is that she had a cold during this recording session.

Disney Princess Enchanted Tales

I'm pretty sure that "on-model" specifically means the drawings, the proportions, and altogether how much they look like the original character. But you are talking about the way Aurora acts and moves. Looks and movement are do different things. Personally, I think Aurora almost perfectly on-model in most scenes. Her face especially!

Thanks for this, Disneykid! Now we know Jasmine really will be on this. The thing is, I find the backgrounds almost too good, like they don't match the less detailed and less beautiful animation! Anyway, this actually has me more excited, because as long as they look like the characters, I'm happy, because I'm more interested in the visuals. Though the songs really are too poppy to not detract from this.

I think the right term you are looking for is "awfully off-character!!" Wow...so not Aurora from the first film. I mean the song portrays her almost selfish like in this movie. agree?

Well, I loved the trailer! The animation looked wonderful, and I think Aurora is perfectly on-model. Jasmine's animation is better than both the sequels, and the TV series.

As for the question on voices; to fair, Aurora had hardly any speaking lines in the original. In fact, she doesnt speak at all in the second hald of the movie. Liz Callaway I think is singing for Jasmine, as she did in the sequals.

It's been said already, but Aurora was completely out of character. (Not to mention her voice...) Why on earth could she not stand still for one second? Princess Aurora is not the type of person who would always be jumping and hopping around!

-laughs-

One of my friends said she was acting mildly ADD. (No offense is meant to anyone by my repeating of that, of course.)

ToonAspie (Asperger's?), while I didn't like the preview, the song didn't make Aurora seem -selfish.- She was singing about "oh I love him and I want to make him happy because I really really really really really love him like woaaaaaah." The lyrics might as well have come out of fortune cookies, but there's nothing selfish about them.

Are you saying the preview itself made her seem selfish? That's more of an issue. Aurora wanted to handle the party preperations herself, without anyone's help. (Their help was basically screwing up the place, anyway.) If that's selfish, then I'm completely self-centered. But I don't think ambition and organization automatically equal selfishness, and besides, Aurora was having a hard time even telling the fairies that she wanted to do things her...

Oh brother, Disney is copying itself with this! Good grief!

The one you're referring to is the preview in the Cinderella 3 dvd. The one Disneykid linked, Aurora is sings and the words make her more self centered. Especially when she says how she has the kingdom all to her or something like that.

I have had 'Keys to the kingdom' in my head all day! I really like it! And listening to Jasmine's singing, I think it acually is Lea Salonga! Her voice sounds like all her recent Disney Princess efforts, it really does.

Ah, I see. That does sound self-centered -- and ridiculous.

Actually, the main six princesses have a pink dress:

I always saw that dress of Snow White's to be more of a maroon with just a -hint- of pink.

Yes, but Jasmine, Belle, Cinderella, Ariel, and Snow White do not prominetly wear pink. Jasmine is usually in blue, Belle in her yellow ball gown, Cinderella in her silvery ball gown, Ariel with her Ariel-colored fins (the color is actually called "Ariel"), and Snow White in her blue/yellow combo dress. So, inactuality only Aurora prominetly wears pink, the others different colors.

That's debatable. We see Aurora in pink about as long as we see Cinderella in pink. Aurora's dress is only pink in the last scene of the movie when she's waltzing with Phillip, and even then, we see her in that color for about a second at a time. I know Disney's excuse is that kids will get Cinderella and Aurora confused, but if they would just show Cinderella with orangey-tan hair and a white and silver gown, then people won't mistake the blonde Aurora with a blue dress for her. Which reminds me, they usually make Aurora's hair too bright in clipart. It's usually a blazing yellow when in the film, it was more of a dull mustard yellow (which the Enchanted Tales animators got right).

Oh, and I agree with Prudence that Snow White's rags are more of a dull maroon than pink.
