Went to see Slumdog Millionaire for a third time tonight.

Once again I gotta give it 10/10.

I plan on seeing Slumdog Millionare this Tuesday.

Last night, I watched the original, unaltered version of Star Wars (1977) and I thought that even though the quality was not as top notch as the quality found on the Special Edition of the movie, it was much more enjoyable.

Cinderella Have seen in so many times and never get tired of it.

A week ago: White Nights it has been a long time since I last saw this movie with "cold war" theme, made in the time when there still was a Sovjet Union. With Mikhail Barishnykov (famous ballet dancer) Gregory Hines, Isabella Rosselini, Helen Mirrer and Klaus Maria Brandauer. Got some excellent dancing scenes. The "White Nights' refer to the period during summer in Siberia when it stays light day and night.

American Wedding

Didn't like it as much as the first two, but I saw the theatrical version of this one and the first one, and I watched the Unrated version of the second one, so maybe the unrated verison of Wedding will be better?

Slumdog Millionaire is looking better and better. I might just see it sometime before the DVD.

Just went to see Coraline. Worth it? yes. Predictable? yes. Creepy and Bizarre? Sometimes. A fun, imaginative, and overall good movie that handles itself very well.
And it's longer than most(if not all) other stop-motion features. It actually runs an hour and a half or more.

Can't Hardly Wait - I really liked this. Great performances from Jennifer Love Hewitt, Seth Green, Ethan Embry, and Peter Facinelli. Not much else to say.

Australia - Great cinematography, touching story and great acting performances. Amazing movie.

50 First Dates - I loved this one, it was funny and touching at the same time. The ending is sort of bittersweet, but that's a good thing.

Mamma Mia! - Great musical sequences, but nothing else really stood out for me. The script was very weak, and it often felt disjointed. Still, ABBA's songs and some of the actors (mainly Amanda Seyfried and Meryl Streep) made it really enjoyable.

Cry_Wolf - I knew who the bad guy the moment I saw him/her Predictable, but enjoyable.

Slumdog Millionaire - what can I say that hasn't been said already? Simply amazing.

Just Friends - You know those stupid comedies you just can't stop watching? This is one of them. Anna Faris stole the show with her Britney Spears/Courtney Love-inspired Samantha James. Fantastic performance!

Sleeping Beauty - The whole world is eagerly awaiting "Pinocchio"'s Platinum debut, and I got "Sleeping Beauty" PE only now. I was never really a fan, you can say I really disliked it, but this time it blew me away. The story may be a bit weak but the visuals more than make up for it. I love it now.

Wonder Woman (the new direct to video animated feature).

I LOVED it. I'm surprised to say this, but it might be my fave of the DC direct to video feature releases, though I have to admit that it has been a while since I've seen the Justice League release. Still need to buy it (and Superman Doomsday). Perhaps those three are tied, really, but I loved how this one flowed and hardly any lines came off as cheesy. I hate that most animated features made for older audiences in the U.S. have those cheesy line moments here and there. Oh, but for the record, all the DC ones have been so much better than the Marvel direct to video animated features, which are good, but nowhere near as good.

I just came back from seeing an advanced screening of Miss March. A movie like that usually isn't my kind of movie, but it was free. I took my friend, and the 2 lead actors (and I guess they directed it, too) were there, and we met them, and I can post pictures whenever I get them (we met some boys in line, and they took the pictures for us, since they told us to put cell phones in your car). As I said, usually this isn't my kind of movie, but it was actually really funny. I had a good time.

I saw Garden State about a week ago. I don't usually go for a film like that, but it was funny, and has a very unique sense of humor(the main character's just getting off anti-depressants). overall, I think it's worth a second watch.

Saw "Eight Below" tonight. Really good movie! I was worried it would have talking dogs or something, but it was played very straight and was very touching. Wanted to write an amazon.com review for it, but I like to go through all the extras before I do that and it has 2 commentaries! I actually like for movies to have commentaries, but they do slow down my review writing terribly...

Jeremiah a TV-movie that is part of the big project "The Bible" series. I've heard before of the prophet Jeremiah, but I didn't know his story.
Well, it's tough being a prophet, certainly. Starring Patrick Dempsey as Jeremiah.If you want to see 'Mr McDreamy' doing something entirely different from Enchanted or Greys' Anatomy watch this movie!

I've seen most of the "The Bible" TV-movies and my favorites still are Joseph and Jesus.

Batman (1989

This was my first time watching the movie in its entirety.I thought it was pretty good. It was dark, stylish and I thought Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson did a good job in their roles. One of my biggest complaints was that the two Prince songs kind of killed the mood.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun - This dance comedy starred a very young Sarah Jessica Parker, Helen Hunt, and a VERY young Shannen Doherty. Anyway, it was pretty good. Disney Channel is supposedly remaking it, though.

I just came back from seeing Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience. It was AMAZING! My friend didn't get the discount I thought she would, so we paid the whole $17.50 (ouch)...I'm spending money I don't yet have, but that's alright. I loved the movie. I have never screamed so much during a movie. I had so much fun. I saw it in IMAX, which is why it was so expensive. My seat was perfect (the first row behind the bar...so not the very front, but the front of the non-very-front section). I thought that the 3D was great- as dvdjunkie had mentioned in the JB thread, there aren't too many 3D effects, but during the concert scenes, I could tell that 3D was being used, with the guys being in the forefront...I'm probably not describing it well at all! I recommend the film to any fan...if you're not a fan, then you might not like the film (unless it converts you... ).

Which IMAX theater did you go to? Assuming you went in Orlando, there's only three IMAX options. The IMAX theater in Pointe Orlando is the only true IMAX, with their giant screen and ear-ripping sound. While not a true IMAX presentation, the one at AMC Altamonte is still pretty cool because they've got the right sound and their screens are already massive, just not as narrow as your standard IMAX format screen. If you went to Waterford, you probably got ripped off - Their IMAX screen is the same size as their regular screens, meaning you could have seen the same movie with the same experience at a cheaper price if you'd opted for the regular digital 3D showing.

Back on topic - I'm seeing Watchmen tomorrow early evening. I'm so freakin' psyched!

The Star Cinema IMAX down in fitchburg is amazing! All movies on IMAX are amazing cinematic experiences. Already planning to see HP6 in chicago in IMAX.

When Harry Met Sally... - I had been wanting to see this for a LONG time, and I finally did, though it had to be on VHS. Oh, well. I really liked it. It's probably my favorite Meg Ryan romcom, although I'm not too sure if it's my favorite. I agree with Albert who said they should have just stayed friends. That was the point of the movie.
