Also, more teens and adults today just looove the character of Maleficent. Too bad she was totally not that character in Maleficent. Audiences had no idea what they were in for.

I've to say that this is one of the best Disney's live action ever! I love the movie because is very accurate to the Disney's classic and the cast is very good not like in Maleficent.
I'm from Spain and i didn't expected so many merchandise, i don't know if Disney has released puzzles in USA but in Spain they've made some puzzles and the pictures are great!:

This one is my favourite, they could use one of these photos for the DVD and the Blu-ray editions

I love those images! I managed to get two posters of the film from a theatre (the classic one, with picture of Lily James by Annie Leibovitz and the teaser, with the slipper). I'm getting them framed next week.

I'm surprised Disney has not yet set a release date for Cinderella on home video. In Australia, the film will be released on June 24.

Yea, I'm really wondering why they haven't set a release date for the US. It's driving me crazy! I want to see this movie again! And again! And again!

Looks like this movie just fell short of the $200 million mark.

I don't think those are the final box office numbers because the movie is still showing at several theaters in my area.

The DVD release date is September 15, and one bonus feature will be an alternate opening.

Love how 99% of that was Kenneth's introduction :glare:

And September? Why the wait?

More Home Video news!! http://www.hometheaterforum.com/topic/3 ... 5-blu-ray/

In addition to the alternate ending, there are 5 more additional deleted scenes!

I'm surprised there is no audio commentary since Branagh seems to be so proud of his work on this film.

YAAAAYYYYY!!!! Finally!!!

A friend of mine said the reason for the wait is to make this release closer to the holiday season. For gifts, of course.

I love the cover art, though I wish for a cover with new art and a composition like Cinderella transforming in the middle with the Fairy Godmother on her left side and the Prince on her right side and the mice on the ground at the bottom and the birds in the air on the top with the title.

I love the alternate opening clip!

But can I see the other deleted scenes if I don't have DMA? Will I have to sign up to DMA for that? After I've seen the scenes can I delete my account with DMA?

I think the alternate beginning is adorable. I can't wait to see the whole thing!

Woah! Deleted scenes are just for DMA?!?! Well, that sucks. Hopefully someone will upload them online. There is no way I'm buying an app just for deleted scenes, no matter how much I love the movie.

I suppose it would be too much to hope for the deleted scenes to be added back into the film for an extended edition. Disney's home video releases really have gone down in quality :(

Disney Movies Anywhere is so stupid. I hope we'll get all the deleted scenes in Norway on our Blu-ray release. We have no DMA here. I also hope that they include Runeaway Brain on the Norwegian release of the Blu-ray short film collection, I read something about it being available only on DMA. If you release a product, why don't make it complete for all consumers.

Precisely! Would it have killed them to put those scenes back into the movie and called it an "extended version"? No, but Disney simply does not bother these days. Makes me miss the time of the early Platinum Collection DVD releases, like Snow White (2001), Beauty and the Beast (2002), Aladdin (2004) and maybe also The Little Mermaid (2006). The early Diamond releases was also quite nice - Snow White and Sleeping Beauty for example.
