I'm actually really glad. It's so hard for me to get away to the movies during the Christmas holiday. This will make sure I'm there on opening weekend.

If we take the release dates for Enchanted as a means of estimating (film that has an enchanting atmosphere, animated princess fairy-tale etc), then I think that The Princess and the Frog could be out in most foreign territories by the end of December, with a few international releases coming out as late as February/March.mooky_7_sa wrote:Woo hoo! So I'm guessing a January release for Europe?
Oh wow! It's true!
I'll be posting (blurry) screen caps as soon as possible, but, on the latest episode of "The View", there were three new clips from this film!
It's at about 40 minutes into the program. As an opener for John Lasseter, they have a montage of films he worked on play set to "WALL-E" music. They have "Toy Story", "Toy Story 2", "A Bug's Life", "Finding Nemo", "Cars", "WALL-E", "BOLT", "Monster's, Inc.", "Ratatouille", "The Incredibles", and "Up".
As for new clips from "The Princess and the Frog":
1) They show a young (maybe six years old) Tiana hugging a pillow and looking out a window longingly, she has a green Tiara on her head.
2) Ray flying and landing on a dandelion, stares up at a big, full moon.
They also showed the clip from the teaser of Tiana holding Naveen (in frog form) over a balcony.
Then a little later they show her squeezing her eyes as she attempts to kiss him.
Later they show a slightly more extended clip with Naveen (frog form) waving his arms for Tiana to give him something. She hands him a copy of "The Frog Prince" and he pages through it and lands on a page, then looks up at her.
The whole montage was nicely put together!

Around 20 to 22 minutes into the Wednesday, March 11(today) episode:
Patrick Dempsey from Grey's Anatomy; President and Chief Executive Officer Robert Iger of The Walt Disney Company; Whoopi Goldberg takes you on a guided tour inside the Walt Disney warehouse; the Academy Award®-winning animator and Chief Creative Officer at Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios, John Lasseter, previews Up; and the Barbara Walters "Disney Legend" dedication ceremony with Robert Iger
The interview doesn't really go along with the movie, actually. They talk about "Up".
All that's really said is the same - it's the first African American princess, it's a return to 2D.
That's it.

Thanks for the videos. Without meaning to sound ungrateful, do you think you could find better quality?Neal wrote:The interview doesn't really go along with the movie, actually. They talk about "Up".

Btw, little Tiana seems to me to be holding a piece of paper and not a pillow...
I do not have it within my means to do better quality. I hooked a video camera to my computer and recorded it - essentially it was like a web cam.
The episode is on Hulu. My computer is incapable of playing the video for some reason, or else I'd capture the footage from that. You could check that out.
And, I think this episode is re-airing. So keep an eye on ABC's schedule.

Ok, when you view an online video that file is stored in your Temporary Files. Go to Tools, select Internet Options ->General, Browsing History->Settings-> Temporary Internet Files and History Settings->View Files. There you scroll down and identify the video you want and then you drag and drop it on your desktop. It usually is in an flv format (but i'm not sure). If your player or youtube uploading cannot support flv you can convert it via relevant programs found on the site download.comNeal wrote:No problem! I still have it on my DVR. If anyone knows how to get it onto my computer in better quality, I'll put in the effort!
Hope that helps...
