Well, there's theather in other cities, but i don't if i can see it (i"ll go to theather alone? i don't know if someone from my family will go with me to see this) and the internet betraid me so i don't know what i should what i do? .
(Thanks for caring ).
I saw Enchanted on Friday Night, and I was completely blown away. Disney is back and they’re better than ever. The animation, the characters, the score, the songs, the story…it was classic Disney all over again. I loved every second of this film, it was fantastic and I plan on seeing it again this weekend. I have a big family, and about 12 younger cousins, the majority being Disney Princess obsessed girls. We are all very close. From the Family about 7 little girls came along with two of my teenage cousins, my sister, some of my aunts, uncles, and my mother and grandmother. Everyone loved the film, from the youngest Princess Obsessed girl to my macho uncle. We were talking about it all weekend. It was just a fantastic film. We could also appreciate all the Manhattan scenery and jokes. You see we live in Upstate New York, but all our parents work in Manhattan, so we’re there allot. It was funny to see the jokes. I also noticed that besides our family, only three other families had children with them. The theater was filled with couples, teenagers, groups of friends, and elderly people. It was very odd to see a lack of children. When the film ended everyone started clapping. It was amazing.
I almost cried when I saw the animation. It was classic Disney. My family said that I had the biggest smile on my face during the animation scenes. I must have looked like a fool, but I didn’t care it was Classic Disney all over again. I loved every second of it. I loved pointing out all the Disney references, and seeing Jodi Benson and Paige O’ Hara. Jodi Benson had a much larger role than I thought she would. I liked hearing “Part of Your World” during the fish tank scene, I almost cried. It was also fun to see Paige O’Hara on the T.V. and Judy Kuhn in the apartment scene. I loved all the Disney references.
I liked the storyline to. It was fun to see the relationship between Robert and Giselle. A Disney Princess actually didn’t fall for love at first sight. It was very sweet to see their relationship develop. It was also a little odd when Giselle saw Mrs. Banks (Robert’s Client) for the first time, and admired her hair. I got the impression that Giselle was intrigued to see a Black person for the first time. Remember in Andalasia, and most other Disney Kingdoms a Disney princess has never seen a black person. I thought it was a little risqué for Disney.
The cast was fantastic. Amy Adams was perfect casting. She was wonderful. I loved the fear and shock on her face when she first entered Manhattan, and during the Love scenes with Robert. She is a fantastic actress. I never even heard of her before this film. She was perfect for the role. James Marsden, Idina Menzel, and Patrick Dempsey were also great in their roles. They all did a great job.
Now I’m a huge Disney Villain fan, so I was very excited to see Queen Narissa. Susan Sarandon was wonderful. Her voice, the way she moved, her facial expressions…they were all wonderful. She reminded me so much of Queen Grimhildie from Snow White. I was also surprised to see her animated form keep re-appearing throughout the live-action parts of the film. I would of liked to see more of her in Live-action. Susan Sarandon looked so cool in her outfit. I was blown away. My heart sank.
Well I can ramble on for hours and hours about this film, I loved every second of it, and look forward to seeing it again. The film made me realize why I loved Disney so much. It was a truly enchanting experience. If you haven’t seen the film yet please do, you won’t be disappointed.

She had a name? I never knew! I'm glad you enjoyed the film, but I already knew you would.
haha, yes the Evil Queen did have a name. Although it was never mentioned in the film, Disney Publications around the time, and official merchandise dubbed her as Queen Grimhildie. I think they even say it in the book "Disney Dossiers", which is a book about the Animated Characters.
Thank you, I appreciate your kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the film as well.

That's cool, I went online and looked her up after I read your post.
i saw it this weekend too but i didn't like it very much. it was too silly, but Giselle is beautiful! i just really missed how the other Disney/Menken movies were real musicals. This didn't really have 'songs' and a score that you can actually hear. I'll have to DL the soundtrack.
I went to see Enchanted Saturday with my grandmother. We both loved it, and my grandmother is still talking about how much she enjoyed it. I loved all the Disney references, especially the "Bella Notte" restaurant. It was nice to see my favorite movie referenced. Overall, I had a wonderful time watching Enchanted, and I will definitely be buying it when it comes to dvd.

:: ducking down :: The actual spelling is ... Queen Grimhilde. :: lifts head up ::

I loved how right before Robert kisses Giselle he says to her something along the lines of, "please don't leave me" which is what Belle says to the beast right before he turns into a man in Beauty and the Beast.
I've seen this movie twice, and I'm planning on going to see it again this week. I absolutely love it!!! Good Job Disney! I'm really excited to see what else is in store!
I caught that too! It was so darn sweet
and also the first 2 shots of "So Close" are exactly the same as Beauty and the Beast's ballroom sequence.
the only thing I had a complaint about the movie is that the closing song was the Carrie Underwood song rather than a choral reprise of something.
seeing it again after knowing the ending...the opening true love's kiss song is so meaningful..with the dream prince reference...it's like she's had a premonition of things to come.it was her destiny all along.
giselle is my most favorite caucasian princess so far and so is edward my fav prince..im feeling sorry and guilty towards aurora and philip..hihi

~ Sam is named after Samson, Prince Philip's horse.
I thought it was homage to her co-star Samuel E. Wright. Like how Paige O'Hara's character was named Angela, like Angela Lansbury. It just seems to make more sense.
