I was one of those people that loved the show LOST. Im still bummed out that the show is over..

Black Cauldron Withdrawls
"Soon the Black Cauldron will be mine! Dang Nabit!" I am not sure why, but for the past few months now i've been really really really wanting to watch the Black Cauldron now. Sure, i've got the video, but the VCR unfortunately doesn't work so now i have to wait until the movie comes out on DVD! Now you'll probably ask: Cant you just order it on the computer? Sadly gotta save the money for food for the time being(Evil Bills!). But i will definately get the movie on DVD(That and Prince of Persia!)! I sure hope September 14th comes soon as i fear i'll be turning into a Horned King!(More like Horned Queen, as im a girl..)

I don't guess I've done this...

"littlefuzzy" is from a series of sci-fi books that I really enjoyed by H. Beam Piper.

I'm 40, although I know I'm not the oldest guy here. I'm straight, for whatever that's worth. I like to cook, although I'm not so fond of cleaning up the dishes! I'm basically a European Heinz 57 - English, Scottish, Irish, some German, and POSSIBLY some American Indian on my dad's side - he was a bit "swarthy", and I know there are some Indians around with my last name, although that doesn't mean much, their family could have taken any name when they were originally put on the rolls. I never had any grandfathers, and I lost one grandmother when I was about 7-8, the other when I was in high school. My dad died in 92, and my mom died last year, so I am all alone now... "I'm so ronery, so ronery and sadry arone!" I'm pretty much a quiet guy (unless I'm mad at a video game!)

I grew up watching Disney animated movies, The Muppets, and animation in general. I've got a fondness for Disney, WB shorts, stop-motion animation, CG films, anime, and western animated TV shows, particularly the older stuff that was on when I was a kid: Scooby Doo, Speed Racer, Starblazers (Space Battleship Yamato), The Flintstones, Super Friends, Thundercats, Transformers, Under Dog, Rocky & Bullwinkle, etc. I also like the current "primetime" cartoons like The Simpsons, Futurama, Family Guy, American Dad, South Park and so on.

As far as Anime goes, I've been a fan since the 80s, and before that I was watching Speed Racer and Starblazers, without consciously realizing they were originally Japanese. I like anything Studio Ghibli of course, and I also like a wide range of anime, from 80s stuff to current, mecha, comedy, school romance, magical girl, slice of life, sci-fi, samurai stuff, and more. I usually prefer a bit of comedy thrown in even on a more serious show. Some favorite creators - CLAMP, Leiji Matsumoto, Ken Akamatsu, Rumiko Takahashi, etc. I like Tenchi Muyo, Cowboy Bebop, Macross, Ah My Goddess!, Ai Yori Aoshi, Azumanga Daioh, Excel Saga, Great Teacher Onizuka, Kodomo no Omocha, Crayon Shin-chan, Lupin III, Slayers, and many more. Take a look at my sig for a link to my collection, if you want.

I got my laserdisc player back in 1990, and I have quite a bit of anime on it, as well. I've always been an OAR guy, ever since I realized they were cutting off half the picture to show a movie on TV... I picked up quite a few laserdiscs, including some great Disney special editions like Fantasia, Snow White, and Toy Story. I also managed to get a good number of Star Trek episodes on clearance ($4-8 per disc), although I was still missing a large amount of episodes among the various series.

I've been a big fan of Star Trek since I was old enough to understand what was going on, I grew up with the Original Series reruns, and then The Next Generation in the 80s. I even wore a full Klingon outfit to work at Arby's, for Halloween. I've actually been reading all of the Star Trek books this year, I've probably read about 80 of them so far this year (all original series.)

I am a big reader, I was taking books to kindergarten and reading them to the rest of the class. They were just things like Dr. Seuss, but still! :P Often, I'd go to the library and come out with a stack of books up to my chin. I also liked going to library book sales, and coming out with boxes full of books. As you can tell by the length of this post, I like to write, too!

I mainly prefer sci-fi and fantasy, with a smattering of mystery books. I like Lillian Jackson Braun, Carole Nelson Douglas (Midnight Louie, Irene Adler), Ellery Queen, and things of that ilk. On the sci-fi side, even listing the authors I like would be too long! Here's a just a smattering: Isaac Asimov, Piers Anthony, Robert Asprin, Terry Brooks, Alan Dean Foster, Brian Jacques, C.S. Lewis, Anne McCaffrey, Terry Pratchett, Christopher Stasheff, and J.R.R. Tolkien.

I also have a wide range of books on everything from architecture and woodworking to mime and holography. I have stuff on robotics, stuff on sword-making, and even one on heraldry. Due to my anime interests, I like a lot of manga, and I enjoy reading American graphic novels, as well.

I enjoy music, and I have a really eclectic taste, but I don't actually find that much time to listen to music any more, I'm either reading (I usually don't listen while I'm reading - the music can set one mood, and the book might set another), watching TV or movies, or playing video games. Abotu the only time I could listen to music is when I'm surfing the net, or in the car. I like classical, big band, 50s and 60s classics, electronic music, some pop, some techno, and a bit of everything in between. I'm not that fond of country (although some of the really old stuff is OK - Patsy Cline, etc.,) rap, or heavy metal. I don't like opera, or rather I don't like most sopranos, and I'd prefer to understand the words. I actually enjoy the Three Tenors, and stuff like the drinking song they do.

As far as movies go, I'm a big movie fan. I go all over the map on this, although I'm not fond of straight drama or thriller. I like comedy, comic book films, sci-fi/fantasy, musicals, action, martial arts, horror (although I dislike the modern "torture porn"), and a few westerns. I enjoy stuff back to the silent era, and films of all countries. I particularly like 80s movies, as I grew up watching them. I like many movies that would be considered "cult" films, or even just plain cheesy - Howard the Duck, Leonard Part 6, Ice Pirates, UHF, the Police Academy series, and so on.

Some film favorites:
Lili, Hot Fuzz, White Christmas, Singin' in the Rain, Sleuth, Army of Darkness, Clue, Dawn of the Dead (1978), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Galaxy Quest, Groundhog Day, Amelie, Monty Python & the Holy Grail, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, Revenge of the Nerds, Super Troopers, The Goonies, The School of Rock, The 36th Chamber of Shaolin, Big Trouble in Little China, House/House II: The Second Story, and Young Sherlock Holmes (not to mention countless others.)
Also, just about anything from Troma or Full Moon, Mel Brooks, Leslie Neilsen, Will Ferrell, Adam Sandler, Jackie Chan, Stephen Chow, the Ernest movies, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tim Burton, Charlie Chaplin, Abbott & Costello, The Marx Bros., and so on. I enjoy older Disney live-action films, and some of the newer ones (PotC, National Treasure, etc.)

My TV interests are similar to my movies as far as genre goes: Comedy, superheroes, sci-fi, fantasy, action, and so on.
I like shows from the beginning of television, to current stuff. I spent many a summer afternoon at my grandmother's house, watching old reruns of stuff like The Lone Ranger, The Adventures of Superman, I Love Lucy, Petticoat Junction, The Monkees, Green Acres, Happy Days, Hogan's Heroes, The Andy Griffith Show, Gomer Pyle, Wild Wild West, and many more.

I also like a lot of 80s shows, like The A-Team, Magnum P.I., Knight Rider, The Incredible Hulk, Alf, The Dukes of Hazzard, Night Court, Perfect Strangers, etc.

As far as more recent shows, I like Scrubs, Heroes, Fringe, Numb3rs, NCIS, Bones, Pushing Daisies, Eerie Indiana, Firefly, Buffy, Angel, Stargate SG-1, Space: Above and Beyond, Arrested Development, Eureka, Seven Days, Adventures of Brisco County Jr., True Blood, Dexter, Burn Notice, Monk, Psych!, Chuck, Malcolm in the Middle, My Name is Earl, and tons more.

EDIT:

I forgot about food! I mentioned I like to cook, and I've got a sweet tooth. I like all sorts of ethnic food, from sushi (and other Japanese food) to Mexican food. I enjoy Chinese take-out and buffets, and I like some Korean food as well - Dulcot Bee Beem Bop. I like bubble teas, thai tea and thai coffee, shaved ice drinks (often with a liquor flavor like kahlua), and frozen coffee drinks.

I love bacon, and I like bacon cheeseburgers, pizza, occasionally fried chicken, chalupas (from Taco Bell), donuts, and all the other bad things that taste so good. Of course, I don't JUST eat that stuff.

I love Marie Callender's pot pies (particularly beef), and I eat other frozen dinners when I don't have time to cook.

When I cook, I like making spaghetti, chili, red beans & rice with sausage, and other one-pot dishes. If I eat at a restaurant, I usually order veggies instead of a salad. I like steaks, although I didn't start eating them until a couple of years ago. I'd usually get fish or something like Alice Springs Chicken from Outback.

At home, I generally like a dessert with my meal, and I'm crazy about Flan, I prefer the 2 varieties available at Wal-Mart, I tried some from a Mexican supermarket once, and it was nasty (it might have even been spoiled.) Plus, it was way overpriced compared to the other ones.

Thanks!
IDK, it's kina weird, I think (but maybe that's only because I know that my mom sorta came up with it by mashing syllables together).
 That's a fun explanation! But seriously, 'Charelle' sounds beautiful. You should compliment your mother on it. If I didn't plan on not having children ever, I would name my daughter Charelle.
