Kingdom Hearts III

I think this aspect featuring rides from Disneyland are rather intriguing. Perhaps it's more of a mini game or a tutorial on how things work, but who knows.

Just a reminder that the footage will be released tomorrow at some point.

Hmm. Kind of divided about this. On the one hand, it would be kind of cool to see some of these in the game. Perhaps, they could have a Splash Mountain portion which could give the opportunity to use some Song of the South characters. On the other hand the Peter Pan thing kind of confuses me given the rules of the story of Kingdom Hearts that each Disney movie is set within in its own world.

I really wonder where KH3 is right now; I really wouldn't put it past Nomura to lie about it having been announced too soon. I don't expect it before 2015 at the most, but it'd be nice to know if that early is even a possibility. It does feel like they've been setting up the releases on a yearly basis, with 1.5 for 2013 and 2.5 in 2014. Feels like it's setting up reception for KH3 in 2015, but that's probably only hopeful thinking.

What? Are you kidding me?! Don't get me wrong, I love Disneyland. I had a great time when I went there with my folks last year, but isn't that a little too much?

I'm still hoping to see the worlds we want in the game, really.

Unless I'm mistaken, they mentioned something about Traverse Town being included, and I seem to recall a teaser video which showed Sora in Twilight Town.

And that is why I love this series. Worlds that become worlds most of us never saw coming until they it become reality. Worlds include Steamboat Willie, Tron, Port Royal and of course Mickey Donald and Goofy The Three Musketeers in Dream Drop Distance, which also featured Fantasia

Also perhaps 2015 isn't too far off for Kingdom Hearts 3 after all since they are seeming to give us a new Kingdom Hearts game each year. It Also seems they are deeper into development of the game that was previously thought. I never imagined we'd already be hearing about worlds for the game. This footage seems to lean toward it's further done. However then there's Kingdom Hearts chi (the PC Game) which they could put in 2015 if they do indeed to release it outside of Japan

First announced at the Electronic Entertainment Expo earlier this year, Kingdom Hearts III plans to be the grand finale to the Xehanort saga fans have been awaiting for years now. The short announcement trailer shown at E3 2013 reawakened the passions of casual and long-time fans of the Kingdom Hearts series, and everybody has been waiting since the game's initial reveal to learn more about it.

While not much information has been released regarding Kingdom Hearts III, fans were lucky enough to get a new trailer at D23 Expo Japan 2013. The trailer will published online by Square Enix soon, but check out this image right now!

So Pixar is confirmed to finally appear. Expected it tbh.

So they're basing some of the weapons/worlds in some of the Parks? Isn't that a bit...odd?

I mean I can understand if basing worlds/summons off elements from the parks that aren't part of the movies (It's a Small World, Haunted Mansion) but imagine Peter Pan's Flight appearing in contrast to the original Peter Pan who's been part of the games since forever.

It's just soo weird! Next thing, Sora will visit Walt's statue with Mickey!

Never mind Walt's statue - maybe Sora will meet Walt himself!

It's also weird that Pixar is actually appearing. I'm probably in the minority on this one, but I thought that considering that Pixar has been absent for so long, they deliberately opted not to include anything of the sort.

I thought the reason was that at the time Pixar wasn't directly owned by Disney themselves so that's why the opted out of not using them for Kingdom Hearts 2. Also the only new worlds there has been since Kingdom Hearts 2 are in Birth By Sleep and Dream Drop Distance and I'm not sure the time was right to put a Pixar world into those two handheld games.

Also, I hope they will keep Pixar worlds to a minimum. I'm not a fan of the way Pixar characters dominates the parks and merchandise more and more, and would prefer it if they stay out of the Kingdom Hearts franchise alltogether. They have so many Disney characters they have not used yet (Pocahontas, Princess and the Frog, Atlantis, Wreck-It-Ralph, Treasure Planet, Tangled, Bolt, John Carter, The Lone Ranger, Frozen etc, etc), and so many great ones that I wish will return yet again (Ariel, Aladdin, Hercules, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Chip n' Dale, Cinderella, Scrooge McDuck, Maleficent, Hades, Daisy, Tron Legacy, Pirates, Mulan etc, etc).

Pocahontas HAS to be in the next KH game! Every other damn Renaissance film under the sun has been in the games already. Why wasn't Pocahontas?!

Since they are probably doing a Disneyland world, what next? The Haunted Mansion or Captain EO? now Captain EO would be bizarre since it's a Disney/Lucasfilm production and just imagine Sora and friends fighting the evil queen with Dance moves, LOL.

I think Pocahontas hasn't appeared in the games because Nomura doesn't particularly care about that movie, and finds it racist. Think how they cut the Native Americans out of Peter Pan. I imagine a whole movie wouldn't fly.

I do think a world based on the film's Virginia would look awfully nice, though. So many nice graphics about a forest and all.

For extension, I want Max Goof and Roger Rabbit to appear. Heck, a Roger Rabbit series of mini-world and mini-games in the vein of Winnie the Pooh in the first games would be pretty fun.

And Frozen shouldn't even peak its head in any of these games.

I always disliked the Pooh levels, i say get rid of them and have Normura replace them with Muppet studios instead.

Roger Rabbit i always thought would make a great level no doubt set in a major movie studio with Judge Doom as the bad guy.

What about having Oz (based on the 2 Disney Oz movies), Rocketeer, Dick Tracy, Gargoyles, Frozen, Big Hero 6, Dragonslayer, Dinosaurs (the show) etc.?
