She is a flawed character, and this season they're endeavoring to make that clear.

Old Fish Tale wrote:That was the most shocking episode of 'Game of Thrones' ever: in love with Petyr, Lysa set the show in motion by poisoning her husband, Ned's predecessor as the Hand of the King.

And Daenerys is failing too. That should make some people happy.
Not the most shocking, but definitely shocking. I had thought it was put to bed in Book/Season 2, until seeing the recap.

Ah, things really are moving along this season.

Man, that trial! I was half-hoping that Tyrion would plead mercy, but that descent into complete-and completely justified-madness was powerful. How can Shae of lied like that? Tyson is just as insane as Cersei! And now, once again, a trial by combat is about to ensue!

As for Dany, she's facing the consequences of her actions.

And what of Theon pretending to be Theon?

Will by dad ever make it through an episode without needing a dozen reminders of who these people are?

Stay tuned....

Peter Dinklage just showed everyone he's the best actor on the show.

Hell, even Emilia Clarke was convincing when Dany was faced with the consequences of her foolish actions.

Seriously, I come back a week later and barely any discussion about the upcoming trial by combat?

Anyway, an actual intro to Gregor Clegane, and a returning Cameo? Good episode, even without spoilers.

This episode was somewhat uneventful if you'd ask me.

That ending though. I wanted Sansa to be the one to do it though.

Besides the ending, my highlight this week was Hot Pie's return!

1. Agreed

2. I personally didn't.

That was a graphic ending.

I haven't posted here in a while... But that was horrible! Oh my God! And Sansa is finally becoming interesting! And Grey Worm and Jorah made me sad.

I thought Sansa's dress was too weird for my liking. Seemed a little too Wicked Witch for my likings.

And Oberyn...yeah probs the most gruesome thing ever shown in this show. Normally i can stand the violence of GoT but this was...:/ don't expect a rewatch for this ep.

I'm not sure if those were feathers of a raven or a mockingbird, but her dress was beautiful!

There are like, no gifs of it on tumblr, either. They know what's up.

It reminds me of the curb stomp scene in one of the final episodes of The Sopranos. The show has never been afraid of getting violent, but you never would've thought that you'd see THAT.

Aside from the fact that it was unnecessarily disgusting, it was also scientifically not possible. The way the head popped implied there was pressure and no oxygen. Which, biologically is not the case for any human head.

Which only supports the theory that we were watching some violent, torture porn fetish of the show creators. I don't mind violence, even graphic violence, but please keep it realistic. This was sick and disturbing.

Well, it was written the same way in the books, so we can't accuse the TV show now of inventing stuff.

I couldn't even watch the end of that 'trial by conbat'. Totally disgusting. Usually the violence on GOT doesn't bother me but I couldn't even watch that bit.

Great episode and I like how sneeky Sansa is becoming. Ayra's laugh at hearing her aunt had died was really funny.
Settling Soul mates? That is grim. And I've played Monopoly alone.

I am looking forward to seeing Sansa and Arya reunite.

On this weeks episode, another battle! And more minor-major supporting characters drop.

Yes, good episode, and good fight scenes. Those mammoths kicked ass!

And that cliff-hanger ending is such a tease... :P

Weird about Green and Pyp, they didn't die in the books...But they sorta disappeared as the books went on...Guess the showrunners wanted a few recognizable faces to make the battle more emotional

Interesting, but not too surprising. Their roles did diminish after Season 1 and diminishing roles in this series usually do not mean a comeback down the line.
