So there's obviously going to be a release of The Rescuers in the UK soon. But maybe they won't be sold individually (looking at the title of the rating sheet).
Disney Animation on Blu-ray in 2012
Oh the Manager in Rotana Home Entertainment (Disney Distributing Company in the Middle East) has sent me the new update of the Schedule for Disney Releases in 2012 .. and this time there is no "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh"!!!The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Middle East: March 14
Germany: May 24
Concerning Winnie the Pooh, this title has been postponed by Disney to 2013 worldwide.

Was that the only change? Are there any other updates you can tell us about? Will the movie be released on Blu-ray too in 2013 or just on DVD?NeverLand wrote:Oh the Manager in Rotana Home Entertainment (Disney Distributing Company in the Middle East) has sent me the new update of the Schedule for Disney Releases in 2012 .. and this time there is no "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh"!!!
Is this also true for Germany? Has the release been postponed there too?Jäger-Rose wrote:I wish Disney would tell their fans what's going on in every country.

Cause sadly tacking it onto the Original is the only way they will make money off it.DisneyDude2010 wrote:The rescuers cover looks quite good!
It's a real shame about Pocahontas... why would Disney want to re-release that tacky sequel
Disney fans will buy the Blu Ray cause they want Pocahontas.
Moms will buy the Blu Ray cause "hey it has two movies to keep the brats occupied while I play Bingo Blitz on facebook!"
Ahh, January is the best time to be a Disney film fan. I love when all the release dates roll out!
It is kind of a shame about Pocahontas considering what a let down it would be to watch one after the other. Pocahontas was probably one of the most visually striking and well developed film (at least in my opinion) during the renaissance. The sequel could never compare. But either way we'll be getting some beautiful films this year!
Thanks again for making this list Sotiris! You always seem to be the first to find things

Saw this on the blu-ray.com forum:
http://forum.blu-ray.com/blu-ray-movies ... ost5718831Thought I'd share these announcements with you, they are all listed in the booklet coming with Lady and the Tramp. I know some of these have been rumoured and/or announced in other territories, but this is the US version, so at least that's something. Feel free to share and use these pictures if you want. No credits necessary.
Diamond Editon for Spring 2013 is Aladdin.
Aristocats coming to Blu-ray August 7th.
The Rescuers & The Rescuers Down Under coming to Blu-ray in a 35th anniversary combo pack summer 2012.
Pocahontas and Pocahontas 2 coming to Blu-ray in a combo pack summer 2012.
Lady and the Tramp 2 coming to Blu-ray summer 2012.
Secret of the Wings, a new Disney Fairies film, coming to blu-ray fall 2012.
