BTW, Pap, thanks for the card! It was really, really sweet........and cultural! :)

It's this time of year that I keep a smile on my face! :D

Now, I just have to get my Music Video edited for school, go Christmas shopping, figure out what I want to pack, pack it, make sure I don't go snooping around for my presents, debate whether or not to bring the dog(a westie), and inevitably visit my relatives in Canada!

And all with a smile(and a song)! :D

To my Secret Cindy Lou Who: I have your gift and your card all ready to go and plan to send it out tomorrow. It's a little later than I had hoped, but I will make sure it reaches you by Christmas. :)

To my Secret Santa: Today was a good day. I had lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings, UPS delivered my Blu-ray's on the release date as promised, and I got to spend some time with good friends. On top of all that, I noticed something out of the ordinary in the mailbox. I checked more closely into it and I found that it was....

Bills! Bills, bills and more bills. But they weren't my bills, they were yours! Your electric bills, your college tuition bills, your credit card bills, and your insanely expensive long distance phone bills! All these years, what or who is in Prague that you keep calling them so much? Are you just checking in? Were you appointed the foreign repsonse correspondant for Prague? I'll never know, but you really should get Vonage or something.

Oh yes, and I also got your gift. ;)

:P This is my way of stealing a long established joke to reveal my Secret Santa's identity, Escapay! Along with some neatly wrapped, seriously kickass Spider-Man wrapping paper - which is now framed and hanging on my wall next to the rest of my Secret Santa Gift Wrap of Christmases Past - Al sent me a Blu-ray copy of Taken! I can't wait to read the card you're sending, if it's anything like your regular posts it's sure to be a hoot. Thank you so much for the time and effort you took for me, and I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! :santa:

You guys do gift swaps a little differently than the members in the My Little Pony community I also belong to. If any of them holds a MLP or non-MLP gift swap, most of the receivers take and post photo(s) of everything they get. Some senders would take and post a teaser photo of the gift(s) wrapped in festive paper sitting in its shipping box waiting to be sealed and mailed. I've seen quite a few candies I didn't know existed through people posting pics of what they received in swaps.

Don't mind me, I'm too darn observant. And a picture junkie. :D

It's so lonely being one of only 8 people in the Matrix with two sets of ***s in their name. We should start a support group.

I actually haven't even sent the card out yet. I'm still working on drafts on my computer before writing it out properly! But when you do get it, it will indeed be a hoot and a half of a read! At least I hope it is. If not a hoot and a half, then just half a hoot. A ho of a read! A ho ho ho!

Great that the card arrived safe and sound!

And yes, I saw the card and I knew I had to send it to you. It's Disney AND it was bilingual. Too perfect if you ask me :p .

Just stopped by the Post Office on my way home from work and found an Amazon package waiting for me that I knew I didn't order. It was my Secret Santa gift! Woohoo! Thanks to DaveWadding for Chronological Donald Vol. 2! I've had my eye on this for the past several Christmases because it contains "Donald's Snowball Fight" which always aired with "Mickey's Christmas Carol" when I was a kid. It also has a Carl Barks special feature I look forward to watching. Thanks, Dave! I appreciate it so much. Merry Christmas!

I came home from work to find a big white package waiting for me on the dining room table. I knew immediately that it was my secret Santa package.

I want to say thanks to (Pink)Renata for the great gifts. I got The Odd Couple: Centennial Collection on DVD, a Collection of Pixar figurines (Though sadly one of them is broken (Mike), but it's still very nice) and a little box of chocolates. Thanks again and Merry Christmas :santa:

The MLP community isn't just one site. It consists of several forums and personal websites. Like Ultimate Disney forum isn't the whole Disney community itself. There's lots of Disney fans sites and forums not associated with UD but they all belong the Disney community.

Good gravy, the windchill today made it so. Freaking. Cold! It took my breath away as though I dove in the ocean in the dead of winter. I hated going out in it. *shiver*

I just woke up from a nap and caught word that I had a package come for me that I wasn't expecting...it had both John Mayer's Battle Studies and the Them Crooked Vultures CD in it from Tabbi aka Disney Lover who was my Secret Cindy Lou Who the first time I did Secret Santa 4 years ago! Crazy the way things work out.

Thank you so much Tabbi. These were the 2 I really wanted. You're the best. Merry Christmas :santa:

Anyway, I'm glad you got them on time. Hope you enjoy. Merry Christmas to you as well!

I was parking my car along the sidewalk when I noticed someone wedged a piece of cardboard between us and our neighbors' mailboxes! I went over to discover it was a package :D

Thank you, Brandon who is known as BrandonH! (I had to post it like this Brandon, when I read your note I laughed.)

Anyways, thank you so much again! I have been wanting The Art of The Incredibles for so long! It's the movie that changed my life and it's weird that before my last days before I send in my portfolio for CalArts, I got this book for inspiration. :) Thanks again! (I know I've said it a lot already! hehe.) I can't wait to start reading it.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and your family!

On a side note, I sent out my gift a few days ago. Forgot to mention it, sorry!

Yay! I'm glad you got it. I'm really sorry about the broken Mike, though. How annoying. How do plastic figurines break?

I came home to a Secret Santa gift myself. Thank you, Gus (MickeyMouseboy)! He got me Catch Me if You Can, You've Got Mail, and Singin' in the Rain. All very awesome and very appreciated. It should also be pointed out that Gus had me (and I, him) way back in 2005. It's crazy how the years fly.

Merry Christmas! :santa: :tink: :pink:

Man, 6 receipts in one... I think that's got to be a UD Secret Santa record! :santa:

Those MLP peeps sound like they're onto something. I think some pics would both spice up this thread and encourage/reward creativity!

As an update, I am still waiting for my present.

And I was thinking of posting pictures of my presents, as well as me with the presents.

Since Luke wants creativity in this...

How should I appear in the picture?

Please choose one of the following...

Pedro should appear...

- Wearing a silly Mario hat

- Wearing a Santa hat

- Nothing at all

Poll ends when the gift is received, act now and you shall receive a free churro of your choosing.

I'd go for the Mario hat, it's very fun and festive. Everyone wears Santa hats during this season, be bold and different!
