Last weekend, the last weekend in January, I picked up the Friends complete seasons 1-6 at Best Buy. If you bought all 6 of them you got like $90 off, which was almost half. Hubby and I couldn't pass it up. We are obsessed with Friends. :D

Just been on holiday, and bought
  • Dances with Wolves SE
    Ed Wood SE
Jungle Book 2 (Aussie SE, different music video to US)
Having been away, the post piled up and I had some nice presents:
  • Looney Tunes Golden Collection
    Lost In Translation
    Underworld
    Love & Death
Bo' Selecta box (from a kindly UD member)
    League of Gentlemen Live
Triple J Hottest 100 DVD (everybody go to www.abc.net.au/triplej for decent music!).
Phew. Busy week ahead of me! Should have taken a longer holiday

Hey, just because we were a colony of petty criminals once, doesn't mean we are all shoplifters.

Some of us engage in white collar crimes. :D

Also, my local copy of the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (2 Disc) arrived today (which contains a number of featurettes and DTS that is not on the US copy).

Lion King 1 1/2 arrived on Tuesday. I may still get The Lion King 3 over here too bacause the actual movie will be different, and one of the supplements has changed (and I'll get a free Pumbaa beanie).

Hey, if you're collecting sets from around the world, you may as well get them all if they're different!
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

Picked up The Beatles: The First US Visit last night. Looks pretty cool - a nice little companion piece to the Beatles Anthology, especially if you are a fan. Has all the Ed Sullivan and related performances (81 minutes) as well as a documentary "behind the scenes" of the visit (51 minutes).

Definitely recommended for fans, or anyone who ever wondered how intense Beatlemania was....
