I'm dragging up this thread just to point out a post in another topic

See how Stainton's words were totally misquoted in Jim Hill's article. I know this is not the writings of a professional journalist in a professional newspaper or magazine, but the same could easily happen in them. Singling out odd sentences for quotes almost always leads to some ambiguity or mis-understandings when the surrounding context is ignored.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

I see your point and agree 100%!

I do have one question though....

WHO IS JIM HILL?

I am aware of jimhillmedia.com, but I want to know just who is this guy anyway? Where did he come from? What are his credentials? Everyone swears by the guy, I don't. Why? I have no idea who he is and never heard of him outside of the internet. Guys like Jerry Beck, Dave Smith, Leonard Maltin, yeah I know them, seen them on television, read their books, etc. What make Jim Hill such an authority on this subject? If anyone knows, please tell me!

You know...
I've been wondering the same thing for a long time. People DO seem to swear by his information (which is admittedly correct, but gleaned from the same resources available to most peopl on the 'net).
But if it is on the Internet, then I guess it IS true...

One can only hope that Eisner will step down gracefully. I think he did some good for Disney in the beginning but now, it's gone down the tubes.
Dragon, not lizard. I don't do that tongue thing.

He's a 260 lb guy with a beard who lives in his mother's basement. He hates sunlight, and never goes outside. He dropped out of high school to devote his time to the internet. His connections are actually his step-uncle's connections, and his step-uncle tells him secrets for cash.
