I just finished my fourth video. It's called A Video Tribute to Walt Disney World. It was three days in the making due to large amounts of b-roll and many technical problems, but it's finally complete and I'm proud of it. I deffinatley won't be tackling a video of this scope again anytime soon, though. Anyways, I hope you enjoy it and please let me know what you think. Thanks.

Mason, I like your "Pinocchio" trailer- great song, and you did an excellent job highlighting the characters and some memorable scenes- good job! I like the "Breakaway"/"Peter Pan" one even better! The song really fits.

That was really cool, Mason. I really liked that you used Bell a lot. Her personality probably fits the song the best. I also really like the song, which I've never heard before. Really good editing. An all around great video.

P.S: Thanks for your flattering comment.

Thanks for the rievew, Goofystitch, took me 3 days to come up with a plot then I understood it was an underdog type of song thus I revamped it from Beauty/Beast to Various Disney, I like the opening, and the fox/cat scene towards the end. Currently I'm making a "2001" Snow White trailer with Say Ok-Vanessa Hudgens.

I love it. I already loved Snow White, and the song is growing on me. (Hey, I'm jealous of your music video skills. I'm trying to make a music video of Prudence's take on Cinderella set to the song There She Goes.)

I haven't finished any yet!

If you would really like to go ahead with my idea that was mentioned above using both sequels (centering on Prudence's different views of Cinderella), I'll thank you forever. Of course, I promise it won't be the annoying sort of thanking you forever. ("You have saved our lives! We are eternally grateful!" -three minutes later- "You have saved our lives! We are eternally grateful!" -three minutes later- "You have saved our lives! We are eternally grateful!")

If you have both the sequels and the technological know-how, well, enough is said.

And I thank you.

Oh, then never mind about the idea. I'll keep working at it myself or ask someone else; there's no reason to do something impossible.

Disney Music Video

Post by Disney Duster »

Disney Adventures: Wow that was pretty much perfect. Really. My only complaints are that I felt there should have been some more oomph when Ursula got jabbed and more oomph when the Evil Queen got struck by lightning, but that was kind of the fault of the song. Take my lack of comments here as something very good because it means there's not anything I can complain about. I'll just say that I never thought lightning could be so powerful.

Disney Happy Endings: Okay...well...I think for me that in order to really feel happy at a happy ending, I have to see how bad things were before. So, I think this video would have been more powerful if you showed the characters overcoming the evil in the last seconds just before the endings. But aside from that, the video was calming and peaceful, warm and fuzzy. That's good. I especially liked Ariel's section for some reason, very happy there, and the symbol clash for Aurora's eyes opening: brilliant.

A Video Tribute to Walt Disney World: I love the Fantasmic soundtrack, which I own, but I really don't like the synthesizer sound... Anyway, nice fast motion clouds going through the tree in Animal Kingdom, it went so well with the music there. As for the whole video...I'm sorry but it seemed very much like a vacation planning video. If the shots had been more like flying through all of the parks, maybe I'd have been enthralled, but it seemed like a big advertisement for the parks. I'm really sorry, that's how I feel.

I Am What I Am: Nice opening with Belle's anger matching the singer's lyrics and angry tone. Really nice fading from one part of the jungle to the next with "wherever I go", that was neato. I like how it was like the crow was singing the next part as he strutted to the beat. Absolutely brilliant use of Belle a second time for "I know where I sta-a-a-a-and I know what I am." Nice with the Darlings kind of flying by with each "hey" to the beat, and the interesting use of Sneezy telling Grumpy he is who he is. Good video.

Snow White Platinum Trailer: That was very nice, especially in the beginning, really very fitting. Just a few things I would have changed. I would have done something different for "Immersive Bonus Features". I would have done a shot of zooming into something, fast, since that's like immersing yourself into it, zooming into it. I would have used the diamond mine perhaps, since each bonus feature could be like a sparkling diamond.

Can you rip video from your DVDs? Because if you could, maybe you could have used some shots from the bonus feature menus for talk about the extra material besides the movie.

Then, at the end I would have stayed on the Prince and Snow White all through, instead of cutting back to the cottage, because it's like "Ah you cut away from the best part, what's going to happen?" Was the end supposed to be like now that Snow White's awake, the dwarfs are returning home, as in returning to their former lives without Snow White? A little sad...

As for a Cinderella video, Mason, you already said:
Mason_Ireton wrote:After watch clips from preview of "Twist In Time", reading the plot, Cinderella 3 had inspired me to make a new vid in March, Crash And Burn. Since there might be some good sequences/characters to represent some lines I'll take a crack at it.
That sounds pretty good to me! And I think mixing Cinderella III with the first Cinderella movie's clips would be great.

Cinderella III: I only have C.D 1 on the computer, but not C.D 3, it's on the shelf for now.

Say Ok: Had trouble with the ending cause so many trailers use the Kiss scene and that's why I broke the traditon. Immerisve Bounus Feat. was planned that way.

Currently I'm making a sequel to Kiss The Girl...6 Mins-Jonas Bros. That song suits Disney Couples in a total different way. You're gon'na be amazed. Having trouble with Aladdin's clips so I'll come up with something.

I haven't been keeping up with this thread but I did watch a few of the most recently posted videos. Goofystitch, I'm very impressed by your editing skills. I loved all four of your videos. I especially liked the ending to the first one -- the TENG/3Cabs/Fantasia ending matched the music quite nicely. I'm a sucker for a Disney montage (as anyone who has listened to my podcast knows).

Mason, I watched your Snow White trailer... that song seemed to be a nice lyrical match. It was kind of a DVD teaser/music video hybrid. Good job!

Looking forward to watching more videos!

Mason, I really, really liked the "Say OK"/SW&t7D video. You did a nice job matching the lyrics & visuals. I liked the "I Am What I Am" video, but I really really liked the other. Good job!
