And he also voices as everyone's favorite donut eating security guard who works at a Toxic Waste Lab: That's right It's and father of the Simpsons thats right he his Homer Simpson!! No I am serious he really plays as Homer SimpsonDisneykid wrote:More than likely Dan Castellaneta, who voiced him in The Return of Jafar, in the TV series, and in various other media like video games.Super Aurora wrote:I don't mind the change that much. Wonder who will voice the Genie? If he even in there that is.
Did anyone ever know that....
Although to stay on topic Perhaps Disney wanted more ethnic culture in it's disney princess so they are saving Belle for another volume... However: I am going with atlanticaunderthesea's theory about Jerry Orbach passing away perhaps they were in the middle of production.... Because I could have sworn I heard his voice while Lumiere was talking during the trailer so perhaps that is the case that they were not all done.....
Perhaps Luke has heard something more about this than any of us know??

There's a new trailer out for this release that not only reveals more of Aurora's segment, but gives us out first glimpse at Jasmine's, as well.

I don't know what to think anymore. The animation isn't half-bad, even if it's disappointing after what we saw with Cinderella III. Still, I realize that this shouldn't be judged on the same level since this should be looked upon more like a Disney Princess TV series than feature films. On that level, the animation is more pleasing. What grates me, though, is how completely different Aurora is in this. She's ditzy and hyper instead of her graceful, refined self. Her singing is too modern and pop sounding rather than operatic. Jasmine also seems too flighty, but at least Linda Larkin came back to voice her. Unfortunately, Lea Salonga didn't return for Jasmine's singing voice, and it's painfully obvious. The lack of Aladdin and Genie in the clip has me a bit worried, though I'm sure they'll show up. The dialogue in both segments is really cheesy. I realize this is supposed to be a morality series aimed at young children, but geez, it's so pandering. I'm almost scared to see what they'll do to the other princesses in future volumes.

Thanks for the link, Disneykid.
Whoawhoawhoa, now Aurora gets a wand? What's up with people not keeping their hands to themselves (or fairies not watching their wands)?
Her singing is indeed wáy too modern, and I dislike 'they gave it to the right one - to me'. Is Aurora really that self-centered?
Is it me, or does Jasmine's nose look really off?
Ah well, at least it's clear which two Princesses are featured in this volume.

Just saw it and the animation isn't half as bad however the personalities on Aurora and Jaz scare me a bit. The aurora segment look like a whole different one as it doesn't seems to even be about philip's party. Also i tolerated Aurora's song int the Cindy 3 dvd more than the one in that trailer.
Oh yea, look like Jasmine met Aladdin's mother!!!!!!!

Okay I can now say for sure Aurora is really off-model. I don't like how she jumps around and sits to her throne with such pleasure- not the graceful, elegant Aurora I know. And Jasmine's animation didn't impress me too. But I think I know that old lady from a storybook, I think she was supposed to be Jasmine's nanny or something and also the one who gave her that brown outfit to escape from the palace. I don't like the songs too. But still...I'm looking forward to it!

It's really, really hard to judge animation quality from an internet clip (I've not seen the preview as presented on C-III yet). They suffer from dropped/held frames and all sorts of compromises to keep transmission speed reasonable. The Youtube clips "swiped" from DVD's also have the same issues.
But it looks like they have "jazzed" Aurora up to make her peppy and modern, while Jasmine comes across pretty much as she did in the Aladdin TV series.
Aurora's BG artwork's a lot more detailed, suggesting she's getting the bigger budget of the two.

It would be wonderful if the spent 7 to 10 days doing the backgrounds for the Sleeping Beauty section like they did for the original movie.
Jasmine seems like herself but Aurora seems too preppy and blonde (even though she is 16.....and blonde). She only acted once like that in the original when she said "But you know something, I fooled them" to her forest friends where she giggles before that and sorta acts like she does in the trailer but not as much.
I feel sorry for Belle and her fans who were told earlier this year that she would be paired with Aurora.
I'd prefer to see this as an actual TV show since the DVD's format seems to be like that.

i hope they'd do a DTV with the princesses and lesser princesses in the line poca, mulan in one movie together solving a mystery of intrigue and magic. aurora gets to ride the magic carpet, the princesses spending the night in pocahontas' wigwam, mulan tries on cinderella's shoes and cannot take it off, snow white cleans the beast castle, etc. etc. etc. but there mustnt be any princes in sight. just the girls in their own world.
i'd buy 10 copies if they ever make this one.

Thank you for the trailer, Disneykid!!!
But where do you find it?
It's not on the official princess site, right?
And why do you think that it's not Lea Salonga doing the singing voice for Jasmine?
She lately is appearing in all the Disney Princess songs as Jasmine.
Can anybody put the sneak peek of Aurora, included in Cinderella 3, please?
I've got the DVD, but in the Spanish one there's no trailer for the Enchanted Tales.

On the Cindy III "Exclusive Look" the only thing that I couldn't stand (at all), was that she is wearing like 70,000 inch shoes (when she is a peasant)! She didn't even wear shoes when she was a peasant!!! Other than that, Aurora's voice was tolerable, but probably should have used a different voice actress, not that she is bad, just not right for Aurora.
