YAY! im so thrilled pocahontas will be released in time for its 10th anniversary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anyone else as excited as me? this is one of my favorite films!

It's not my favorite movie but it is a very well done movie.

But I will sure upgrade my DVD because it looks TERRIBLE and the sound is just there.

I've been waiting for this movie to get 2-disk treatment, more than any of the Platinums (even The Little Mermaid

I can't wait for the Pocahontas: 10th Anniversary Edition true I have the Pocahontas Gold Collection but it has very horrible color. Time to upgrade my Pocahontas DVD!!!!

It's about freaking time they've announced this. A press release will probably roll around next month, though it's pretty pointless since we all know what's already on it thanks to the international releases. I can't wait to see the cover art for this.

This is very exciting news. I am always eager to upgrade any of my single disc releases to 2-disc. Especially "Pocahontas" because the original release was abismal and this is a Masterpiece edition if I am not mistaken. I loved what they did with "Alice in Wonderland," so I am hoping for a similar release.

Great to finally have a release date! I never bought the original DVD, and I haven't seen Poca in years, so I'm very excited to add this set to my collection.

I really doubt they'll delay it again. As announced, it's being labeled as a "10th Anniversary Edition", and the film was originally released in the summer. So because of that, they don't have much of a window to delay it. I'm confident they'll stick with the May 3rd date - if not, I'm sure it'll be within the month of May or June.

I´m so hoping this dvd to have a spanish track, cause here in Mexico, Pocahontas gold collection edition, with the crappy transfer and almost no extras just got re-released, it´s such a bad joke

Well, it's a practically pointless revelation for me; I already knew that the UK DVD is coming out in March (7 weeks time!!!!). Needless to say, I'm going to get Pocahontas when it comes out as I've not seen the movie in ages and I really want to.

Thank heavens we finally have a release date!!!

I don't know why, but Pocahontas just keeps climbing higher and higher on my list of favorite classics. Ever since I started getting back "in" to Disney around the summer of 2003, my esteem for the film has grown. I'm more eager for this disk-set than every Platinum, except The Little Mermaid and Bambi. My top five list coincidentally looks something like this:

1.) Aladdin
2.) The Little Mermaid
3.) Pocahontas
4.) Bambi
5.) Beauty and the Beast

However, I'm a bit dissapointed in the "10th Anniversary Edition" Label. Not that I actually care anymore about labels, but that pretty much all but confirms that we won't be seeing The Hunchback of Notra Dame until 2006 or Hercules until 2007. Very dissapointing, indeed, but it's worth it for me, because I finally get to own Pocahontas!
