Been a while since I posted in this thread (or at all), so I'll only list recent buys etc (i.e. last week).

Beat that Disney! :D
I got that one too!

Other things I got this week:

- Bourne Supremacy: A review disc (month ahead of the US & Aussie shops! Yay!). Not a bad disc, but the extras are exceptionally fluffy. Here is my review for it right here.

- Magnum P.I.: The Complete First Season: The Man with the Mo! 6 Discs of Reviewing Goodness. I'm glad I got this as a reviewer, because as much as I love Magnum, I had trouble justifying the price-tag for 'nostalgia value'. Otherwise I would have bought the US edition and got the Simon & Simon episodes.

- Club Dread: Yes, I know. But it is another review disc. My hand was forced (sort of). Still, with a bad movie weekend coming up, it could be gold.

OH man... I feel sorry for you. If you havn't watched it yet, you'd better make up a fake review and skip the movie altogether. It's that bad. >_<

I splurged yesterday and now I'm a poor guy.

Mickey's Twice Upon A Christmas (for Kram's birthday, we watched it last night and were LOL'ing the entire time) $15.96
A Charlie Brown Christmas $12.64
I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown $9.86
The River Wild $7.50
Romancing the Stone $7.00

The River Wild put Kevin Bacon on Kram's list of actors/actresses he hates because they had a villainous role (another on that list is Winonna Ryder for her portrayal of Abigail in The Crucible).

I'm currently looking on http://www.play.com for some DVDs. Back to the Future is in the basket and one or two more may enter it, maybe even a Disney title. God, I'm going to wake up one morning and discover the majority of my DVDs to be Disney ones. :o

A few days ago I bought Shrek 2 :)

:star: Question for anyone else who bought Shrek 2...did your dvd have an insert (foldout) ???? Mine doesn't have one, and it's really bothering me!!! All mine has is a little offer booklet....I was expecting a normal pamphlet that shows a chapter index, and describes the bonus features!! Please let me know if I got jipped!! :? thanks

I didnt get one either Kelly. They cheaped out. Par for the course for Dreamworks. I also felt somewhat let down by the movie, but that was probably because of the hype. It was no where as good as the original, although still a decent flick.

Today bought the Marx Brothers set and caved in and bought Mulan even though I said I wouldnt. So many reviews gave excellent marks to the audio and video.

I know what you mean, someone in my family bought it and all they got in it was a strange little leaflet with pics from the film in it with quotes. What a waste.

Ordered a Walt Disney World Vacation Planning DVD the other day! I'm not really able to go in the forseeable future, but for a totally free DVD about the park, who cares!

Tonight i bought the Rock'n Roll Circus. I missed it when it was issued on LD so i'm compensating now :p

keeping on a music related track i also saw a boxed CD set of The Beatles first Capitol albums (the mix and match hodgepodge they were!) in both their STEREO and Mono versions which is good (I hope they'd do the UK albums that way too :P)

Well the interesting thing was that I a Beatlemaniac didn't know about this, which points how far DVD has overtaken CD in my interests :PPPPP

5.1 channels + video kind of opaques 2 channel plain audio for about the same price!

Well, I finally broke down and ordered Knight Rider: Season One after doing a bit of homework and finding out KARR is indeed in a season one episode! Forget KITT, we love KARR.

I can't wait for the later seasons with Garth, Goliath and of course more KARR!

Knight Rider: Season One
Wh00t! KARR!

Buck Rogers in the 25th Century: The Complete Epic Series
Wonderfully tacky! Did you know the pilot film had lyrics to the theme tune?

Britney Spears Greatest Hits: My Perogative
I also got this on CD with the bonus remix CD. Did you know the UK release has a total of 4 more tracks over both discs over the US release?

Mulan and Mulan II (UK)
Wh00t! UK Mulan has two Jackie Chan music videos. AND NO RAVEN!
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database
