Who is the Best Disney Duo? Part One: Early Years

Post by Kram Nebuer »

Part One: Early Years
(This used to be one long poll, but there were too many options)

Which pair is, in your opinion, the best together (though not a romantic couple)? Which are like Boris and Natasha or Big Bird and Snuffalupagus or Fred and Ginger or Ernie and Bert? Which pair best exemplifies that you can't have one without the other? Or which duo (or main character and sidekick or sidekick duos) is your favorite one of all?

Heh, I got this idea from Mermaid Kelly's #7 Princess Beauty Contest for Friends, but this poll is extended for other Disney movies. There could've been others like Bambi and Thumper, but then Flower would feel left out and you can't have Donald and Jose Carioca without Panchito or Carpet and Genie without Abu, so if there were more than one, it wouldn't be a duo. So who do you feel is the best duo?

I have a torturing feeling that this has been done before but I searched and found no similar topics but if my search was incomplete I am heartily sorry if this is a repeat.

It may not be the best movie out of the ones featured on the list, but I chose Tod and Copper. That *IS* The Fox and the Hound - their friendship and it falling apart. To me, it's a more interesting relationship than the others on the list (though I was tempted by Pinocchio and Jiminy). Their friendship is so compelling as to carry a film.

While I agree with Luke (their relationship is what makes TFATH a good movie), I have to go with Pinocchio and Jiminy. There's a very warm feeling to their duo-ship, with Jiminy always trying to guide Pinoc in the right direction, and Pinoc always trying his best to do what is right. They have the most touching relationship on the list.

I gotta say Bernard and Bianca. From both their films. Their friendship, and then, ultimately, their romance.
