Well, looking at it "realistically", Rajah's a pampered palace ornament, while Shere Khan's a hardened, wild specimen. He'd have more intrinsic strength, endurance, and fighting experience. As much of a "bad guy" as he is, he nevertheless has the advantage.

There's no contest here! Shere Khan is almost pure malice, and we all saw how well poor Rajah fared against the might of Jafar. Shere Khanwould mop the floor with Rajah.
